22/07/2026: A very nice and good mother-son culinary experience

13/07/2026: We were a group of 11 people, including young children and a person with a disability, and we received a wonderful welcome (without a reservation!). The cuisine was excellent, a true testament to what is now called bistronomy—a perfect balance between traditional dishes and originality. The terrace on this charming, authentic little street is lovely, but the interior is equally delightful. And the large sliding mirror that leads to the restrooms—now that's original! We highly recommend it, whether for a romantic dinner or a large gathering with friends. The staff was lovely.

Superb homemade cuisine, very pleasant service, a lovely atmosphere in the dining room, and a delightful surprise with the sparkling and delicious "L'Espérance" gourmet platter. The owner and staff were very friendly! Everything was perfect for a wonderful birthday celebration with friends and family. Book now to delight your guests! It's delicious 😋

The drinks are excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the service is quick. It's the perfect place to spend quality time with friends or family. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

20/04/2026: We had lunch on the terrace as a family of five. Superb, 100% homemade cuisine and a warm welcome. A restaurant that does justice to the craft and is well worth a visit!

01/08/2026: A good restaurant in Angoulême with a lovely setting. The meal was good overall. One minor drawback: I found the menu wasn't detailed enough, particularly regarding the burger and the steak tartare, in which I thought I recognized mango, which wasn't listed on the menu.

25/07/2026: Lovely place, we had generous salads, an excellent vegetarian burger, and a very good steak tartare. The staff is delightful. The restaurant accepts holiday vouchers, a definite plus!

27/07/2026: They catered our wedding reception and meal; an exceptional and friendly team. They made our wedding truly special with their delicious dishes, which they prepare to perfection. They also had a great rapport with our guests. We recommend them 100%.

30/05/2026: Tucked away behind a wall of vines, this hard to find restaurant located on an unprepossessing industrial estate is well worth seeking out. Perhaps this is why most of the clientele are local. We sat down alongside trades people enjoying a long, languid lunch under shady trees. The meat is cooked to perfection over a wood fire. The faux filet is simply delicious. This was our second visit and we were delighted to return. We enjoyed an excellent two course lunch with drinks for about 55 euros, which we considered to be very good value. Next time, we will make a reservation - just like everyone else who has become a regular here.

12/07/2026: Good place to eat. Passing through on our way to our holiday destination, we stopped at this restaurant on a Sunday at lunchtime. Pleasant and quick service, good food. No children's menu, but they do have special dishes for them. Air conditioning. Parking nearby. €24 per person.
