15/03/2024: It's increasingly difficult to eat well on set without feeling like you're being ripped off and I'm delighted to discover this address. We were very well received by the waitresses who seated us upstairs at a small table overlooking the kitchen through a pretty aquarium. I took the kidneys as a starter, Madame took the egg and we both took the sweetbreads as a main course on a menu that was varied enough without being extensive. We had a blast. The kidneys were delicious, perfectly seared and just pink to the core with small vegetables and a superb sauce. For those who have reservations, don't hesitate to try them, they were super good with a really light offal taste. It's not easy to treat this kind of product so well. Madame also seemed very happy with her fried soft-boiled egg which seemed perfectly cooked (again, it's not easy) Concerning the meunière sweetbreads, it was also really very good. A very hearty plate with nice pieces that are very crispy on the outside while remaining tender. A little sauce and a medley of varied fresh vegetables very well cooked. We didn't have desserts but what came out of the kitchen looked great. Well done and thank you to the kitchen team as well as the waitresses who were very pleasant and efficient. We see that there are people who know their job and who do it well. In total we got €106 with 2 aperitifs, 2 glasses of wine, 2 starters and 2 main courses. It is very reasonable given the location, the quality of the products and the quantities on the plate.

28/03/2024: We had an excellent evening, the team is always on top, we received excellent advice. The dishes were absolutely delicious, the chef's Rossini-style tournedos was a real delight, I hadn't eaten so well in a while. The desserts were also sumptuous, truly flawless from starter to dessert! We had the pleasure of chatting with the team and the chef at the end of the meal and the experience was really just perfect, thank you very much.

31/03/2024: Came as a family on Easter Sunday for our Grandma's 90th birthday, the service was impeccable, the meal was super good and very generous (we are currently stranded on the sofa lol). Very warm welcome. We therefore thank Monsieur Berthe, the young waiter and the little hands behind the stove for this fabulous moment. And thank you for the little flowers as a gift

28/01/2024: I had been anticipating a visit to Cokotte for two years and was so delighted to have lunch there on the 28th. The standouts were the Cappuccino Dubarry, which I could have eaten for all three courses, and the caramel mousse, which I could have eaten for three more courses. Soooo good! Even the bread: perfectly crusty (but not too jagged) on the outside, and soft (not dry) on the inside. My lunch made me so happy! And the waitstaff were charming! I hope to come back next year!

05/04/2024: Small restaurant in the historic center of Angoulême. Warm welcome, the semi-cooked tuna accompanied by its risotto is a delight, original presentation. The same goes for the bobbin leg. Careful service. Excellent value for money. Very hearty. We recommend!
