The privileged few present in the room enjoy their cocktail and their appetizer platter. Between bursts of laughter and noisy discussions, joy distills to the rhythm of a suave Bossa Nova. The boss, all smiles, welcomes you. But be careful, places are expensive! The brandy of ancient pirates has its fans even in the land of cognac! After careful study of the menu, opt for a Pina Colada or a Criolo. It's delicious. Once the order is taken, the bartender, wandering around behind his counter, then enters the scene. Like a true conductor, he begins to combine the aromas of alcohol, fruit and coconut milk without a false note. The bottles fly confidently into his hands until they fill the shaker. Then, he shakes it for a perfect marriage of fragrances before serving it with a slice of pineapple and a straw. From the first sip, an explosion of flavors delights your taste buds. 03/05/2026: Very clean and very good burgers. I say this because in some Quick restaurants the burgers are bland and full of grease and oil... which isn't the case here. And the restaurant didn't smell of frying, which is very pleasant.

12/02/2026: Excellent restaurant. I stop by every time I'm in Angoulême. Their chicken curry is a real treat, and whether you eat in or order a bowl, the service is fantastic. Their chicken tiramisu is also good, as is their hot Winx. A great place to go if you're visiting Angoulême. And the staff is very friendly.

25/04/2026: Beautiful terrace. Warm welcome. Attentive service. The weekly set menu (main course and dessert) for €15 is unbeatable. The lasagna is very good and the breaded chicken irresistible. The tarte tatin is also excellent. Well done to the chef and her team.

07/05/2026: We ate well, but our reservation had been cancelled... several dishes on the menu were unavailable... the dishes we ordered were good. The service was unpleasant. No apology or explanation for the missing dishes... a shame. The atmosphere isn't what it used to be.

16/03/2026: After an incredible first experience, and a second equally delicious one, I simply had to write a review following my third visit to La Voile Bleue. This place is truly fantastic! The dishes are delicious, generous, and homemade! You're guaranteed to leave with a full stomach! Between the regular menu and the daily specials, you're sure to find something you love! And the seafood is fresh and of excellent quality! The service might seem a bit slow, but it's a small team in a bustling market. You don't come to La Voile Bleue for a quick meal; you come to savor the food and take your time! It's definitely not a problem! And the waitresses are friendly, attentive, and will make your visit a truly excellent experience! I recommend it 300%!

22/12/2025: A boss who verbally abuses his employees in front of customers is unpleasant… It's a shame because the location is lovely. But the market atmosphere is ruined.

21/04/2026: Lolmède's macarons are of good quality, with successful flavors, even if the prices remain quite high. On the other hand, the welcome is rather cold and the service organization leaves much to be desired. While being served, another customer might ask a question and you're then sidelined until the conversation is ENTIRELY dealt with, with no consideration for the ongoing wait. Another regrettable point: you have to systematically request paper bags to carry the gift bags, which also gives the impression of being a nuisance. It's a shame, because the overall experience doesn't live up to the prices charged.

16/05/2026: First time in this bar, we went there to play a game of pool and darts, just a typical student outing… We had barely arrived (I'm not exaggerating, we had only stepped inside) when a woman (the owner) literally yelled at us, "You're minors! You're minors! There are minors in this group!" We were a bit shocked and incredulous, but we thought the woman was joking (it was so surreal), so we went up to the bar, and that's when we noticed the woman's strange and very aggressive behavior. "Did someone just laugh?" "Who was making fun of me?" We offered her our ID cards as proof of age, but it was no use (the worst part is that no one reacted to her aggressive behavior; she was literally shouting throughout the bar, and her colleague seemed to think it was normal). Frankly, we left the bar completely bewildered by the situation, and I'm not surprised by the recent comments suggesting she was on drugs because her eyes were wide and she was making numerous nervous gestures. Response to the comment: We understand the restrictions regarding minors, but this does not justify the aggressive reception, especially since we offered to show our ID cards as proof of age. I could say that it's also defamatory to refuse entry to people based on their appearance rather than their actual identity (since we were all adults). Furthermore, we simply agree with the previous comments which also describe the manager's completely erratic behavior (including some comments that explicitly mention physical aggression), which can really lead to confusion regarding certain consumption patterns. Before saying that our judgment was excessive, it's primarily the opinion of many "customers" who had a similar and unpleasant experience.

30/12/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. A pleasant place to be! It's basic, classic fare, but always good and at an affordable price.

06/04/2026: A superb find! It's just 5 minutes from the train station, definitely worth it. The service is excellent, everything is homemade, the portions are very generous, and the terrace is bathed in sunshine!
