06/05/2026: I won't be back, and especially keep an eye on your bill! We were supposed to order three set menus at €15.90 each. We showed them the menu with our starters and main courses, and when the bill came, there was an extra €13 charge! 😣 They charged us à la carte, and the owner refused to refund us. Her excuse was that it was because of her daughter, and she added, with a mocking smile, "But I gave you extra, just like à la carte!" She said, "Are you kidding me? You make a mistake and you don't take responsibility at all!" I still went there two or three times when I was passing through, and don't even get me started on the service—they practically threw the plates at you! Anyway, I'm going somewhere else. 😤

08/05/2026: I'm updating my previous review because I've been coming to La Table du Lamen for years and have always loved it. It used to be a real gem for me: I especially adored the pork rib soup with thick noodles. The homemade pasta was delicious, and the flavors felt authentic, generous, and comforting. I also appreciated the restaurant's friendly atmosphere, the efficient service, the wide selection of dishes, and the fact that they once allowed me to bring my dog ​​in, which I greatly valued. It's precisely because I loved this restaurant so much that my last visit was such a disappointment. I came with friends to whom I had enthusiastically recommended it, but this time the experience didn't live up to my memories at all. We felt that the portions weren't as generous as they used to be. The chicken noodle soup was rather bland, with fatty bits that my friend didn't like. The spare rib soup, which used to be my favorite dish, seemed much less flavorful than before: less aromatic, less substantial, and overall less comforting. We also ordered a chicken and vegetable stew for €16. For the price, we found it expensive for what it was: little meat, a weak chicken flavor, a lot of fat, lots of celery, cilantro, and vegetables, but a disappointing overall balance. The most regrettable point was that one of my friends felt unwell after the spare rib soup and ended up vomiting. I can't say for sure what caused it, but it obviously significantly impacted our experience. I'm genuinely sad to write this, as I've had some truly excellent experiences here in the past. I used to recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it in the same way. I hope it was just an off day or a bad time of year, but we left very disappointed after this visit. I sincerely hope it was just an off day, because I used to love this place. But unfortunately, on this particular visit, the value for money and the flavors were no longer up to the standard I had experienced before.

24/03/2026: Fouk Yien restaurant in Toulouse is a wonderful discovery for lovers of Asian cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the stir-fried beef with basil, which was bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. Linh's friendly and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable. The decor blends elegance with traditional touches, creating a soothing atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for a convivial and authentic meal.

21/03/2026: A small, welcoming restaurant with delicious food served quickly. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Takeout is available: feel free to bring your own container! It helps them keep costs down and is good for the environment 😉 I work across the street and go there regularly; I highly recommend it, so go if you're in the area!

20/05/2026: It's a bit shameful to have to pay full price when half the dishes are empty! The servers don't even acknowledge you once you're seated... it's a shame. It would be nice to lower the price a bit for when you don't fill all the dishes. I also sometimes have doubts about the freshness; the sushi is hard at times, especially during the week... a shame for a restaurant I used to love! Furthermore, I find it shameful that they mop the floor while customers are still there, or start putting everything away, even the dishes, while customers are still present. It's a matter of respect, after all. Again, the price is full... and when you're 3 euros short of getting a "token" (a small coin) to play the game of "toys," they look at you and say, "Oh no, you're 3 euros short." Well, in that case, I'll pay to have all the dishes filled and to have a choice of everything!

30/04/2026: Happened to drop by this restaurant by luck! It is run by a Cambodian and Vietnamese couple over 30 years, hence I set high expectation on my food (pho) and they didn't not let me down! Quality food served in big portions but cheap price! We were thinking to visit it in the future when we return but the owner is planning for retiring in coming June as nobody is taking over 🥲 Hope whoever craving for Vietnamese food should give it a try soon!

24/01/2025: Had the spicy beef noodle soup. It wasn’t bad at all but not at all what I expected seeing the reviews. I thought i would taste the best noodle soup but not really. The beef was cooked, not stirfried and then added. Portions are good

I was surprised that it was cheaper and tasted better than most high-end restaurants. The seasoning and cooking are perfect. I ordered the menu below and recommend a visit if you are passing by.
