20/07/2026: The restaurant was pleasant because it was air-conditioned. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was questionable, and we would have preferred a better explanation of the different dishes. Overall, a mixed review: not good enough to be considered top-rated, but not bad enough to be considered inferior.

11/07/2026: The best Chinese takeout in the neighborhood! And the cheapest too 👍 Delicious, fresh, light, and not-too-greasy dishes. We've been coming here every week for years, and the service is always very pleasant! Well done to the whole team at La Mandarine 🍊

06/05/2026: A truly deplorable experience at this Carrefour City. They categorically refused to let me pay for a simple €0.24 bottle of water with Apple Pay, citing some supposed internal procedure, even though there's no legal minimum spend for card payments in France. The most absurd part: a customer behind me kindly offered to pay for me… but the cashier also refused, with a rigid and unprofessional attitude. The result: a ridiculous situation over 24 cents, a complete lack of customer service, and the impression of dealing with an outdated policy. At this point, it's not even about the amount, but about common sense and respect for the customer.

11/04/2026: The staff are dishonest about prices. The prices displayed are much higher than those announced at the register.

27/08/2026: A bad experience due to: - Spring rolls and doughnuts that weren't crispy, some even stuck to the bottom of the container, plus mixed fillings - Dry dishes (beef with onions, potatoes, garlic shrimp, etc.) and, of course, no sauce - Vegetables: warm salad in a very dry vegetable dish, plus mushrooms swimming in oil - Friendliness = nonexistent, except for one very pleasant waiter (a young man with tattoos) - Metal containers without lids for some dishes - Industrial ice cream from a container that had been scraped clean, creating an unappetizing pile - A smartphone is required to order (QR code scan mandatory)

23/08/2026: A decent Asian restaurant in the Carrefour shopping center in Houdemont. The prices are rather high, but overall the food was good. One small drawback, though: the stir-fried noodles with vegetables and the Thai rice were really dry, which was a shame.

29/06/2026: NEW! Amazing buffet! Incredible large room for birthdays, weddings, and baptisms. Thank you for the warm welcome; we celebrated our football club's 25th anniversary there – it was fantastic! Thank you again!

29/08/2026: Avoid this Asian restaurant at all costs!!! The food is not worth the price! There's absolutely no variety, neither in the desserts, nor the wok dishes, nor the appetizers. Given the lack of competition, they could do so much better!! I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant.

09/08/2026: I stopped by this bakery to buy some multigrain bread and fruit bread. Both were good, no complaints about the quality. However, the price is truly excessive: €17.85 per kilo. You can find bread of just as good quality in other bakeries for €8 to €10 per kilo. The same goes for the slice of Tropézienne tart at €6.70. It's simply outrageous. It's a shame, because the products are good, but at this price point, the value for money is simply not there.

13/05/2026: Superb little restaurant with excellent food at a very affordable price. The staff at the front of house, the waitstaff, and the chef are all very friendly. I highly recommend it.

29/04/2026: The worst Pho I’ve ever eaten!! I never rated one star for a restaurant, but this one is really really bad!

07/09/2026: We went in for breakfast, but they were out of croissants. The owner recommended a good bakery, and we went back with croissants to have coffee and a cappuccino. A timeless, warm place with beautiful artistic photos on the walls. We'll be back.

31/07/2026: We came in for a refreshing drink, a coffee and a fruit juice, and at first, the owner seemed very unpleasant. We made the mistake of asking her for water, to which she grumbled, saying it would mean extra washing up (and the washing up wasn't very clean, either). Furthermore, we witnessed a very disappointing scene, as the same person brazenly displayed her disgusted expression towards a homeless man who simply wanted a glass of Coke… After reading some of the other reviews, I'm not surprised. If you don't want to serve customers, find another line of work.

24/08/2026: A very bad experience at Wok & Sushi in Lille. The chicken clearly tasted spoiled and the noodles were dry, so the meal was truly awful. Unfortunately, the service didn't improve things: the staff was unpleasant and unwelcoming. When I simply asked for salad to go with the spring rolls, a waitress even started laughing, which I found frankly inappropriate. Between the quality of the food and the staff's attitude, I do not recommend this establishment.

18/08/2026: Catastrophic!!! That's the only word that describes the incredibly cold and unpleasant welcome from the staff who have absolutely no idea what customer service is. I will never go back!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!

24/09/2026: The restaurant was filthy from the moment you walked in; the windows were disgusting, so it didn't exactly inspire confidence for what was to come... The toilets were even worse (you'd be better off going anywhere else), and the fabric on the banquettes was more black than yellow. We arrived at 12:30 pm and there was only one meat option at the buffet, so if you don't like duck, tough luck. The other food stations were empty and hadn't been restocked while we were there. The sweet and savory fritters were cold. There were only two salad choices, and a maximum of two spoonfuls per dish... it's clear that everything was offered at the bare minimum. To top it all off, we had barely finished eating before everything was cleared away, glasses and all. In short, we tried it again after its administrative closure a few years ago because we didn't want to leave with a bad impression, but we'll never go back! You're much better off eating at L'Indochine on Rue du Collège; it's far superior.
