17/02/2026: Avoid at all costs! The mashed potatoes tasted like water, they were cold, the fries were soggy, and there wasn't even a dessert choice at lunchtime—we were the first customers! It's shameful, especially considering how hard P. Etchebest's team worked to turn the restaurant around... They didn't take any of the advice they gave them... It's pathetic.

14/02/2026: A very pretty place, well decorated, tastefully renovated. We wanted to try it out for Valentine's Day. The restaurant accepted us at 1:15 pm, which we appreciated. However, we were truly disappointed on several points: - The service was inattentive (no smiles, no menu, no interaction; we felt like we were intruding). - We waited over 45 minutes for a single dish we ordered, and there were very few people in the dining room. The waitress apologized for the delay. Well, these things happen. - Two vegetarian dishes at €13.50 each arrived, but the main ingredient was missing: the vegetable gyozas listed on the menu. The waitress "forgot" to mention it... So, in the end, we got a noodle soup... - She indicated a discount on the dish. We were surprised when we looked at the bill on the way out: no discount. We went back to ask. No apology. The machine had made a mistake. A shame about this experience. A few smiles would have been enough to make us understand the few unexpected things that happened that day... We hope this comment will help the restaurant improve, the potential is there.

16/01/2026: Honestly, I regret having dined at this restaurant. The waitress was clearly only part-time, preferring to chat on the terrace rather than attend to her customers. As a result, she didn't hear the kitchen bell ring, and our dishes arrived cold. We had to ask for bread and a carafe of water, which was nowhere to be found. As for the food, nothing special: a beef tataki that was more like carpaccio, and the rest of the meal arrived cold, making it difficult to enjoy. Therefore, I would recommend La P'tite Cocotte or Le Garden instead; the service and food are excellent there.

The waitress was very nice, but the food was anything but homemade… everything was mass-produced, and the egg in the calzone wasn't cooked! The carbonara pasta had no flavor, and the bacon looked like it came straight from the supermarket… you expect to eat better pasta in a restaurant than at home, but forget about it here…

Let's support these small, long-established restaurants in Tulle. One has already closed near the train station. Big chains like Wok don't even come close; it's really not good, it tastes like it's been overcooked. If going to a restaurant is about filling your stomach to your heart's content, for me it's primarily about pleasing my taste buds, having a good time with friends, and above all, not feeling sick the next day! I highly recommend this restaurant.
