20/07/2026: Whenever I'm in Brive, I go to this restaurant. The setting is lovely, but most importantly, the food is fantastic. It's very good and excellent value for money. The foutou banane, the thieboudienne, etc... The portions are generous. The owners are incredibly kind. I highly recommend it.

11/08/2026: Great service, good atmosphere, but the food doesn't live up to what you'd expect from a region renowned for its meat and local cuisine. Sad hamburgers and fries, all overcooked; it reeks of fast food and opportunistic summer fare. But thankfully, the prices reflect the quality. Low, low, low, but served with a smile.

10/05/2026: Superb restaurant! We were welcomed at 1:30 pm and despite the late hour, we received excellent service, with a smile and no rush! The food is very good and refined! The setting is truly lovely, right on the banks of the Dordogne River and in a peaceful location, perfect for enjoying a good meal. We highly recommend it! 😀

19/08/2026: This little roadside restaurant looks unassuming... but it's actually quite good! A very warm welcome, very pleasant service, and excellent food at a very reasonable price. We had lunch there twice in the same week, and it was perfect. A big thank you; there are still some great restaurants to be found along our roads. I highly recommend it.

Special mention goes to the salmon, our favorite. The service is charming; these are real restaurateurs, not amateurs 😉

23/08/2026: I'm not one to complain, and although this review is negative, I'll express myself as politely as possible; I feel it's important to mention it so the owners can make improvements. The atmosphere was nonexistent; I would have been more entertained watching paint dry. The service was not up to what one expects from a restaurant—unless you expect to see the staff playing on their phones in a corner of the austere, undecorated dining room, supposedly reflecting Indian or Pakistani culture. The portions were minuscule: barely enough to feed a mouse, let alone a human being. As for the taste, it was sorely lacking in flavor; perhaps I'm simply used to better curries and a more varied menu. We had our dessert elsewhere, and I can assure you we won't be returning or recommending this establishment. To say the prices were excessive for the quality would be an understatement. Perhaps they should pay people to eat their food, since that's probably what they did to get more than two stars. Or maybe it's the work of AI, the very same one that was busy on its phone in the corner of the room.

22/08/2026: I'm not one to complain and even though this will be a negative report I will put this as polite as possible, I believe that this should be said so that the owners of this restaurant should be able to change for the better. The atmosphere was none existent, I could have entertained myself more watching paint dry. The service was not to standard as you would expect from a restaurant unless you expect the service to be playing on there phone in the corner of the plain undecorated room that is surposed represents the culture of India or Pakistan, none existent. The food portion that wouldn't fill a single mouse let alone a human. The taste was at a minimum of flavour, maybe I'm just used to better currys and choice on the menu. We went somewhere else for our desert and can assure that we will not return or recommend. Over priced for what we received is an understatement. Maybe they should pay people to eat there food because it's what they must have done with people to receive more then a two star review. Or again maybe it's just the use of AI from the service sat in the corner of the room on there phone.
