27/05/2026: Small Japanese restaurant. Spent €200,- for 2p. on sushi, small portion of sashimi, salmon tataki, water, wine & ice cream. Portions minimal, taste very nice, water €7,-, wine under €40,- you won’t find…but up to €2.350,-. Travelled the world and experienced, but think this is extremely overpriced.

27/05/2026: It is a small restaurant that makes you very curious because of a Japanese chef, so expectations are high. They are very accommodating regarding bringing small dogs, which gives a nice feeling. The menu was quite limited, contrary to the online photos (no maki rolls), but that is not a problem if everything is of high quality and very tasty. We are seasoned sushi eaters and therefore have our own standards. Here, we felt that (apart from the high temperatures outside) the chef was actually no longer functioning as he used to. Of course, fresh ingredients and prepared according to Japanese standards and values, but the restaurant is probably not what it used to be. With a bottle of wine costing at least €50, you now end up spending around €200 for two people. For this, we had a small but good sashimi (4 x 2 thin slices), 8 nigiri sushi with a variety of salmon, white fish, tuna, and "fatty" tuna, and salmon tataki which was very tasty. Unfortunately, a considerable amount was added for extra charges, and in our view, the "value menu" system of 1, 2, 3, or 4 starters and one or two main courses "for so much" no longer works with all the extra charges. All in all, we felt we had paid too much for well-prepared Japanese food, partly due to the €7 bottle of water...

25/04/2026: A huge disappointment! The prestige of fine dining has gone the way of politeness. For me, everything was fine, but far too expensive for the poor quality of the dishes served in a frosty atmosphere. I highly recommend other establishments, such as Le Caveaux des Arches, which offers a similar wine cellar and a lovely regional menu. Regarding this meal: The beef cheek was far too tough (personally, I couldn't eat it). The eggs meurette with Époisses cheese and fries were simply sickening... so much fat, it was just awful. The cream was cooked incorrectly, which is a shame for a classic dish. I had lots of little bubbles in my cream with water at the bottom. And the wines by the glass add to the already excessive bill for this quality. Marrange at €13.50. Yes, everything has a price, but for me, yours are too high considering your service, even for Beaune.

07/04/2026: It's a lovely place to sit in the evening, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying the moment.

09/02/2026: Senior residence with some apartments offered in a hotel-style format. A wonderful welcome, clean, very functional, and comfortable apartments. A huge thank you especially to Chaïma, who welcomed us with truly remarkable kindness and attentiveness. She promptly informed us of the delay with one of our bags, with great professionalism and consideration. Chaïma was lovely, very professional, always smiling, and extremely accommodating. She's clearly the kind of person who makes all the difference during a stay. We will definitely be back next year.

14/05/2026: A wonderful welcome despite arriving late in the evening for a party of five. Many homemade dishes were available and replenished regularly. Thank you again for the lucky charm as a birthday gift! I highly recommend this place.

20/07/2026: We only picked up food. And I actually thought the price-performance ratio was good. But the fried noodles were just completely dry. I don't think I would eat the sushi because it looked like it had been sitting in the display case for a very long time.

07/05/2026: Order placed by phone on Tuesday at 6:45 pm, delivery announced for 8:15 pm, finally arrived at 9 pm. The lunchtime soups were spilled in the plastic bag and the delivery woman just said "oh well, they must have had trouble closing the jars" but still charged us full price.

28/06/2026: Diners come here for the Poulet de Bresse - a 120 euro chicken that comes with high expectations. We started with a simple salad that was tasty and fresh topped with a generous amount of cheese. We then shared the chicken along with a side of fries and vegetables. The chicken visually is spectacular and the carving spectacle is fun. The actual taste of the chicken is amazing, a strong taste where each part of the bird is unique. However, the cook on the chicken is over. It is not as tender as the bird should be, especially at this price. The bird is also under salted in my opinion. The jus however doesn’t need to be adjusted. The fries here are very good, the vegetables are mediocre at best. Service here was wonderful and friendly and the setting is beautiful. Come if you’re happy to spend, but don’t expect a life changing experience.

06/06/2026: The chicken and the crêpes Suzette were excellent. The service, however, was listless and inattentive, giving the impression that we were a nuisance as guests and not truly welcome. A shame. We didn't really live up to our own expectations.

28/05/2026: Unfriendly waitress, mediocre food… The very friendly waiter tries to redeem the dining room and kitchen, but alas, it's too late…

25/05/2026: Had the fish and chips and it was superb, we also had the flank steak and it was excellent. Service was so so. Nice environment.

02/07/2026: The owner is unpleasant, not a smile. I asked her for a shower, which she refused, claiming she had used disinfectant products. When I went to the restroom after ordering a shandy (€3.20), I noticed no smell of disinfectant. Frankly, she doesn't care about anyone... close your restaurant and retire!

28/05/2026: A so-called "truck stop" restaurant, but clearly not designed for drivers… The welcome was cold, not a smile in sight, and the buffet offered very little choice, mainly salads and almost no cold cuts to go with them. The dishes were served in small portions, and the food tasted more like mass-produced than homemade. And the worst part: it only opens at 6:30 a.m.… At that hour, most drivers are already on the road. A real truck stop opens earlier and thinks about the drivers. Frankly, there are much better options elsewhere. Avoid it.

14/05/2026: Pizza JENNA Beaune Home Delivery Disaster! Over an hour instead of 30 minutes, plus they were missing my drink! I had to call twice to get it, and then waited another hour. The Mont Blanc Burger was very good. The Amigo Panini was missing kebab meat. Second attempt the next day. Unprofessional! I placed a takeaway order. When I got home, I realized one fry was missing? After complaining, I received my delivery 20 minutes later: a box of cold, barely edible fries.
