03/06/2026: The restaurant is truly beautiful, elegant, and meticulously crafted. We were also pleased with the food: well-executed, high-quality dishes. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to the setting. The glasses of wine we ordered at the beginning arrived only after the appetizer, making us miss out on the pleasure of pairing it with our chosen wine. Furthermore, there was some confusion with one of the main courses: we were informed that the salmon trout wasn't available and would be replaced with sea bass with vegetables, but in the end, a salmon trout arrived anyway. Unexpected events can happen, but we would have appreciated clearer and more transparent communication from the staff. Finally, when we ordered an additional glass of wine, it arrived already poured. I personally believe that, especially in a restaurant of this caliber, it's good practice to show the bottle at the table before service, so that the customer can check the label on the wine ordered. Overall, a good experience in terms of ambiance and cuisine, but some aspects of the service could be improved.

Everything was perfect... the parsley sauce was a delight for the taste buds... the snails too... the morel mushroom tarts were excellent... the beef bourguignon was superbly slow-cooked... The cooking and presentation were perfect, as was the service, with the head waiter and servers all top-notch. A good wine list to suit all budgets. Highly recommended!

The fried vegetables, reminiscent of tempura, and the roasted white fish with yuzu were wonderfully fragrant, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – absolutely delicious. The wine selection is outstanding. I will definitely visit again.

Plenty of wines available by the bottle and by the glass. A bit pricey overall, but still excellent value for money when you want to treat yourself. 🙂

09/06/2026: A rare moment of cuisine, hospitality, and delicious natural wines. On the menu: an INCREDIBLE celery carpaccio with leek oil (what a devilish combination!), a harmonious blend of textures and flavors with toasted buckwheat groats and lemon zest. This was followed by the delight of chicken karaage (a marvel of marinade, then frying). Unreasonably, this was followed by a beef tataki, perfectly seasoned and playing with textures thanks to the roasted peanut and the delicately oiled Parmesan shaving. The meal concluded simply beautifully with homemade ice cream, left to develop the perfect texture and temperature. Excuse my strong language, but I was helped by the delicious natural wines (a white Ardèche wine—I've forgotten the grape variety!), an exceptional Chardonnay (I've forgotten the producer!), and an Aligoté.

19/05/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. I called at 8:30 pm on Saturday evening, the restaurant was full, but the owner went out of his way to find me a table for four. Excellent service and food. Stop by if you're passing through Beaune.
