A warm and friendly welcome, and above all, truly delicious kebabs 😋 The meat is perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are always fresh. You can tell everything is prepared with care, and it makes all the difference! Whether it's for a quick meal or a get-together with friends, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you always leave satisfied. I highly recommend this place to all kebab lovers 👍 See you soon for the next one!

18/03/2026: Fantastic sushi restaurant! The staff is friendly and the chef is passionate about regularly offering new dishes. The dining room is cozy and comfortable, and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend it if you're looking for delicious maki and sushi.

14/02/2026: A disappointing restaurant. A first for us, and tonight's Valentine's Day meal was tasteless. Bland. Unappetizing. The first surprise: a set menu! We weren't informed of this when we made the reservation! For starters, doughnuts that had clearly been fried in oil for several hours. Cheese naan that was incredibly heavy. I've never seen anything like it! A sauce accompanying the prawns, a fluorescent pink that was as flashy as it was bland! Overcooked, dry lamb. A fruit salad that wasn't really a salad, with a scoop of ice cream that seemed to appear out of nowhere. The waiters were friendly but completely unprofessional. No privacy. We were practically sitting on top of each other. Not to mention the constant coming and going of Uber Eats delivery drivers! In short, we were very, very disappointed with this meal. We won't be back. Shalimar is much better!

01/04/2026: Cod with strawberries and Chantilly cream, caper mayonnaise, flambéed with pastis. This famous Gaston Lagaffe recipe was the only thing missing to complete the menu of this establishment, which in 10 years has become a shadow of its former self. It was our last time. The flavor combinations in the dishes are sickening. Add to that sluggish service and poorly poured glasses of wine. Special mention goes to the horrendous lamb navarin in a thick, oily gyoza. A good joke we'll remember for a lifetime ^^

14/03/2026: Good evening, I received a phone call at 7:20 PM to place a small takeaway order of four small pizzas. The person on the phone was very firm: no, no, no, we're overwhelmed. They could have at least told us an hour instead of turning customers away like that! It's not very customer-friendly, not even a simple "excuse us, but we're too busy!" In short, the gentleman wasn't very pleasant. Aside from that, I've eaten at La Casa before and the pizzas are really good.

15/12/2025: A very unpleasant experience at this bar/tobacconist today. I thought that a customer who makes the effort to come and buy something at this bar was entitled to at least a greeting in response to mine, but apparently that wasn't the case with the woman at the till who completely ignored me, acting as if I didn't exist. Appalling service, avoid at all costs

26/09/2025: Nice little bar/tobacco shop, reasonable prices, a great welcome, a well-located terrace... Snacks available...here's a poke bowl, filet mignon with vegetables, croque monsieur/goat cheese, chicken purée.... top-notch cuisine!

03/02/2026: As always, the welcome and the food are perfect. I have been coming here from time to time for almost 10 years, depending on my travels to Niort, and La Palanquin Doré is a mandatory stop.

01/03/2026: Great menus. The sushi is generous with lots of fish and large pieces of avocado, and not too much rice, so it's perfect. Edit in 2026: We are still just as satisfied with Saveurs de Niort; we order regularly. It's always very good with a good amount of fish and raw vegetables. The value for money is truly excellent. I don't understand the rating, which doesn't reflect my experience. Ready Made and Toyo aren't any better and are much more expensive.

06/07/2025: A small meal with friends before heading to the movies: it was very enjoyable! Despite the unpredictable weather, two musicians performed covers of favorite songs. The hearty dishes arrived quickly and with a smile. We even had time for dessert! We will gladly return.

24/03/2026: Perfect lunch this Tuesday. The young waitress was very welcoming and attentive. My son loved his noodles and my caramel pork was delicious. Very quick service, ideal for catching our train right after

25/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times and haven't been disappointed until yesterday: My friend and I ordered risotto, and when it arrived, it was barely lukewarm. Risotto isn't good cold; it's sickening! We asked the waitress to reheat it. Okay, she brought back both plates at exactly the same temperature—still barely lukewarm—and we could see the cook snickering. Not very professional! What a shame! So, no dessert, no coffee, and a bad review just because of the temperature. The dish cost €17.90. Anyway, we asked for takeout, and I ate the risotto piping hot at home that evening. We went to this restaurant to comfort ourselves after a stressful and disastrous medical exam!

23/03/2026: Pamela and her colleagues provide exceptional service and attentive, welcoming staff with smiles and good cheer, and the food is excellent. They are adept at responding to customer requests and quickly finding solutions; with them, there are no problems, only solutions, always delivered with a smile. A truly wonderful establishment; we will be back soon to try their new offerings.
