I think that this type of establishment is not sufficiently highlighted and that’s a shame! Congratulations to the entire team at the Les Brizeaux restaurant, you do a superb job! Keep it up !

20/06/2024: Very friendly and helpful waiter. Food was fine, Plat de jur was a bit like aircraft food in presentation but very tasty.

15/01/2025: I showed up today for a coffee My cappuccino was very nice, yes, but it was cold. The room was cold Despite having indicated to the waitress (who doesn't even give you time to arrive and already wants to take your order) the pseudo heating does not work After 1 hour the room is still cold Before paying at the cash register I kindly inform the waitress who sends me off and looks at me askance. So a cappuccino for 4€10 arrived cold and what's more with this attitude I would never come back again

06/01/2025: Very nice restaurant, friendly service. However, we did not eat very well. Sangria with water, dry meat, and crème brûlée with water... too bad because it really is a beautiful environment

10/12/2024: Accueille très agréable, endroit chaleureux, plats excellents et prix raisonnable. Je recommande vivement ☺️. Je n’ai jamais mangé dans un kebab aussi bon sur Limoges et je tiens à féliciter les cuisiniers et le serveur très sympathique !!

08/12/2024: A fuir absolument. Commande d'assiette kebab reçu dans un pain à tacos composée d'énormément de salade, d'oignons pauvre en viande et en tomate et qui n'avait rien à voir avec un kebab. Facturé 15€ le sandwich en appelant cela une assiette, je vous laisse juge du procédé.

17/09/2024: Good morning, I am currently giving 1 star because I was refused access to this bar because I had half of a taco which I ate quickly to avoid inconvenience. I understand the bar policy, however I drop a certain amount of money per week in this bar which is really nice, especially tonight, with a slash giraffe. I disagree with this opinion which I understand, so I would not return to this bar again.

11/09/2024: Coming for lunch in August, we asked for an indoor table because my mother has eye problems. The waiter (in Bermuda shorts behind his apron.....it's a bit average for a so-called gastronomic establishment) will strongly insist that we have lunch on the terrace despite our explanations. We stay in the room and understand, since we are the only ones in the room, that it does not suit him (cleaning?). I had memories of the rococo restaurant...Ok the decor has been redone but in my opinion it's a hideaway, no soul with a view from our table of abandoned flower boxes. 22 euros for the lunch menu (starter - main course) for supposedly revisited deviled eggs (a hard-boiled egg cut into 4 on a salad...I would have preferred a real deviled egg in fact) then saithe (cheap fish ) ...... flavor wise no surprises, no Wow. Let's not talk about appetizers at aperitifs and coffee treats. I am a regular at another restaurant in Niort (closed at the time of my reservation) which for 24 euros offers starter, main course, dessert (delicious appetizers with the aperitif and good treats with coffee) in which I find products much more elaborate and so exquisite to taste! All the same, an extremely positive note for the sommelier who was particularly attentive, very professional and gave good advice. I hope that the manager of the establishment will take into account the Google reviews in order to "straighten the situation" and keep this legendary restaurant in Niort afloat.

10/09/2024: Family meal on a Sunday for my eldest's 10th birthday and communion. Staff attentive to our requests, whether for the decoration of the private room or for the development of the menu, including a very good cake for dessert! Aperitif in the large courtyard / park at the very pleasant entrance. Then meal in the private room in photo, we were 17 guests. Thanks to the whole team.

25/07/2024: I highly recommend this restaurant !! We eat well there and I want to honor the crazy kindness of these restaurateurs!! When I tell them I can't eat gluten due to illness they are amazed!! Mr makes me a special express bread just for me and madam is kind enough to add two dates with my coffee!! Honestly, I was blown away by this natural kindness!!

02/09/2024: Pretty good dishes even if the local salad is expensive for what's in it and tasteless. On the other hand, more than 3 hours on site to eat. Reservation for 12:15 p.m., dishes served after 1:45 p.m. and more than 1/2 between ordering desserts and their arrival at the table. When we don't have the capacity to serve in a reasonable time, we no longer have to take on people and this problem comes neither from the kitchen staff nor from the waiters, but from the owners who take on more and more customers... who complain when we ask for water while the staff keeps a smile on his face even though we can sense that he is embarrassed by the situation. At the end of the day, small excuses and the kitchens being singled out even though they had nothing to do with it and not a commercial gesture.

30/12/2024: An exceptional place located a stone's throw from the Donjon de Niort and the Marais Poitevin. The night was very pleasant in this quiet and perfectly decorated place. Wake up gently thanks to the scent of meat slowly cooked by Maitre Kemal, the owner of the place, who already cooked under Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Fortunately the meat is no longer the same as it was at that time. In short, the €9 menu including a night in the Kemal hotel is a must have when visiting Niort.

31/08/2024: Having been coming to this restaurant for several years, we are calling this Saturday for a reservation at 8:00 p.m. Arriving there, a line from the counter to the door, we are used to it, the establishment is renowned... But the manager doesn't even take care of us, we sit and wait for more than half an hour to finally hear her tell us that there is nothing to eat except noodles!!!!! !!!!! Neither sushi nor maki while orders by telephone are going well and you can choose the entire menu.... Disappointed we leave on an empty stomach, with wasted time looking for another place to eat. If the owner no longer wants to run a restaurant but only “takeaway” she should be honest with her customers.

06/09/2024: Very bad experience. We are traveling and decided to stop for lunch, it was 1:50 pm and we made a point of asking if they would serve us. They said yes, after we were seated and had the menu in front of us, they came to tell us that we could only order pizza. My husband is celiac, so pizza wouldn't be an option. I explained the situation to the employee and after asking the kitchen, she came back to tell us that they no longer served anything. As we were already seated and didn't want to be rude, we ended up ordering 1 pizza for myself and 1 drink, which I shared with our 5 year old son. Our mistake, we should have left immediately. The pizza wasn't bad but they charged us more than its value, €2.80 for sharing it with my son, who didn't even eat a single slice. There was no sympathy or understanding for my husband's situation and they even came to alert my son for touching the window. I don't recommend it to anyone.

29/08/2024: Very good Coffee Shop. Being a regular, I was able to meet all the baristas at this Colombus who are all top notch. The waiting time may sometimes seem long, but let's not forget that all drinks are made by hand in front of us. What they like. Which also means that you are served within 5 minutes (or less). Maximum 5min for 1 customer, if you are 3rd in line you might wait 15min. But the atmosphere of the place, the quality of the products and the kindness of the baristas are worth taking the time to go there. The sandwiches and muffins are also homemade the same morning, what a pleasure. The welcome and customer relations are always great in my experience. The team of 4 barsita are as professional as they are pleasant. Today for example, a young blond barista with glasses served me, very respectful, there was a group of 4 people in front of me, I had my drink in less than 10 minutes. As there was no one behind me, the barista took the time to speak with me. I think the employees of this Columbus enjoy their work and enjoy customer contact. (I also highly recommend the cold brew caramel latte which is exquisite). The young brunette barista knows the term "commercial gesture": a customer dropped his drink, the waitress kindly served him a new one. The barista with green hair is incredibly kind and the tall dark-haired barista knows how to build customer loyalty like a boss. Their last trainee who seems to have left was also very pleasant and was able to train very quickly! Le colombus opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. on weekdays. I have already seen some people being refused when arriving just before closing, but as I explained when we can take 5 minutes per person, if we arrive at 6:55 p.m. and there are people in front of us, the barsita can only take one or two orders at max. (Not forgetting the too good to go who have already paid to have their baskets). The location is great, in the city center, just above the cinema which allows you to relax after a day of shopping or while waiting for your movie to come ;) The toilets are not accessible at the moment, after talking to the barsita the toilet was flushed... however public toilets are available in front of the colombus ;) I am taking the time to write this comment because having looked at the reviews, I had the impression that some people were a little intransigent towards the employees of this company and that does not correspond to my daily experience. (Without wanting to contradict all experience, there are days with it and days without it...) Don't hesitate to come, whether for a drink on the terrace with your friends or to work in a quiet place on your computer. I highly recommend and hope you have the same experience as me. (PS: it's raining today so the terrace is less desirable but it is very appreciable ;)

06/07/2025: A small meal with friends before heading to the movies: it was very enjoyable! Despite the unpredictable weather, two musicians performed covers of favorite songs. The hearty dishes arrived quickly and with a smile. We even had time for dessert! We will gladly return.
