22/07/2026: I came with my 4-year-old daughter on Saturday, July 18th, around 1 p.m. We were clearly in the way. Fine, I can understand that, given the time. But it wasn't crowded. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, I made the mistake of asking for pasta. The waiter told me they didn't have any and that I should just look at the menu, and that he'd be right back. He turned away without even listening to my immediate reply. Tired of waiting for what felt like an eternity, we left. It's a shame, it was just as he was about to return... One thing is for sure: I'll never come back.

21/07/2026: Very average. The terrace was smoky the entire time we were eating (okay, we were outside, but it was still very unpleasant, and either that was the smoke, or we were inside where it was hot and dark, with the music too loud). The food was disappointing and really not great: small chicken tacos with a very strong and greasy curry sauce that was frankly awful, and the worst part: a completely dried-out lemon that had probably been cut a few days ago, and really wilted green salad that had just been tossed in oil... I might be a killjoy, but we won't be going back. Next day's update: My daughter and I both had stomach problems, which probably confirms the lack of freshness of the food....

29/05/2026: I ate at this restaurant twice during my stay and honestly, I was blown away. Having eaten Japanese food before, I can say that this one is truly exceptional. You can taste the expertise, the quality of the ingredients, and especially the homemade aspect, which is becoming rare. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The only downside… is that they're closing permanently at the end of the week, which is a real shame given the quality of the establishment. A truly wonderful place that I won't soon forget.

16/06/2026: A big congratulations to the new manager! I came a few years ago under the previous management, and I was very disappointed that day (a tiny portion of food, a child's portion...) which led me to go to the nearest store to buy food...). Anyway, I came back some time ago after the change of ownership, and I realize I forgot to leave a review to highlight how much things have changed since the restaurant was taken over. The portions are now generous and sufficient, the prices are fair and consistent with what is served, and above all, the service is incomparable. The friendliness, professionalism, and atmosphere are 100 times better than before. There's really no comparison between the old and new restaurants. You can feel a genuine desire to do well and to please the customers. I sincerely wish this team much success. I also wish this restaurant a long life; it deserves its success ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

07/06/2026: It's a pleasure to return every time I come to Niort; it's always so delicious, the dining room is always very clean, and the owner is always so friendly and kind. I've been a customer for 30 years.

11/05/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been to a brasserie. Frankly, I was very disappointed. The older woman was very bitter (you could tell she wasn't happy, probably with a lot of personal problems). She was talking very loudly in the restaurant while the bartender spoke to her quietly. I heard her tell her colleague she was going to finish her cigarette, but it was 11:59, I was ready to place my order, and I had an exam in an hour. The only nice person was the younger waitress, who smiled when she brought my food and sincerely wished me a good meal. I ordered a vegetarian burger—seriously, it was AWFUL. Don't order it; you'll be disappointed! At the end of the meal, this same "older" woman took my money without asking if I'd enjoyed my meal, without even a smile. A very bad experience; I sincerely hope I came on the wrong day...

27/05/2026: How is it that since the beginning of the week, and especially early this morning, there are no parking spaces in your store's parking lot except near the gas station? I admit that yesterday I drove to one of your competitors, and this morning, an acquaintance told me the same thing! It's a shame; you're losing customers, and it's becoming unpleasant. Perhaps these are people who have nothing to do with shopping at your store and who work nearby!

19/07/2026: Bad kebab... we asked for sauce and didn't get any, we asked for salt for the fries and there wasn't any... the guy in the kitchen was incredibly rude. I don't recommend it.

04/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Boizé! The seared salmon was delicious, as was the duck... everything was very well prepared and the staff were very welcoming.

29/04/2026: We went there for lunch as a couple on a Wednesday. The atmosphere was great, the setting pleasant with soothing decor. The service was mainly provided by trainees. They did their best and were very pleasant. For our meal, we opted for the lunchtime set menu. We had gravlax salmon as a starter and flank steak with fries as a main course. The dishes were delicious, well-seasoned, and full of flavor! However, the dessert left much to be desired… a tiramisu without biscuits. And a chocolate pistachio fondant that was dry with a very artificial pistachio "coulis." Avoid this place for dessert. At the end of service, the manager was unpleasant. He didn't ask how the meal went and had a haughty air about him.
