29/04/2026: We went there for lunch as a couple on a Wednesday.
The atmosphere was great, the setting pleasant with soothing decor.
The service was mainly provided by trainees. They did their best and were very pleasant.
For our meal, we opted for the lunchtime set menu. We had gravlax salmon as a starter and flank steak with fries as a main course.
The dishes were delicious, well-seasoned, and full of flavor!
However, the dessert left much to be desired… a tiramisu without biscuits. And a chocolate pistachio fondant that was dry with a very artificial pistachio "coulis." Avoid this place for dessert.
At the end of service, the manager was unpleasant. He didn't ask how the meal went and had a haughty air about him.
24/03/2026: A wonderful discovery, this restaurant nestled in the heart of the Mercure Hotel in Niort.
A very colorful and delicious lunch yesterday with friends. A great place less than 10 minutes from Place de la Brèche. Large private parking lot at the hotel.

29/05/2026: To begin with, the staff is very unwelcoming, and the owner even less so…
The pizzas are wood-fired, which is a very good point, but sometimes they're a bit overcooked, even burnt. There's a decent selection, but unfortunately, the flavor isn't very pronounced, and the crust is incredibly thin.
The price is frankly excessive for what it is.
Inside the restaurant, it's extremely hot; there's air conditioning, but it's turned off…
The waitresses seem to be bothering them, especially when you ask questions, which is a real shame…
The dining room is actually quite nice.
To be honest, Domino's Pizza is better, sorry…

08/06/2026: Order impossible at 9:50 PM because I had to use the drive-thru in a 4-meter-high van for a small order. Even after explaining, nothing worked. What a shame, a lost customer. I went across the street to Burger King and had much better service!
07/06/2026: Absolutely catastrophic. A shriveled Filet-O-Fish with barely any sauce, dry fries that didn't even taste of potato, and an interminable wait, all while the staff seemed completely unmotivated. I've never seen anything like it at McDonald's.

13/05/2026: Slow service, drinks arrive 30 minutes late, and the food is cold.
Honestly, avoid this place and go to Bessines instead.
07/05/2026: Horrible! It took 30 minutes to change a plastic bag full of pre-made milkshakes, and then even longer to get your order. Asking for chocolate sauce on top was refused, while in other places it's accepted. Terrible service, unpleasant cashier. I think for a €4.50 milkshake, a little chocolate sauce wouldn't hurt.

- products never available
- place in disrepair (condition of premises and hygiene)
- repeated errors
A little message for people who respond to reviews: it would be good to act before one of the unfortunate customers ends up with too much food poisoning. The hygiene of the place is deplorable and it is inevitable in these conditions.
I have received a full refund for my order since I contacted you on the site (which was absolutely not requested) and I see this as an admission on the part of the manager of his inability to take care of himself as he owes it to this place. It would be a good idea, rather than working at a loss by reimbursing products for which customers do not request reimbursement, to hire staff and train them, in particular in basic hygiene rules.

28/09/2024: Very nice table, good atmosphere, good welcome and team very attentive to customer satisfaction. Very good products coming directly from Italy and you can feel it on the plate.

26/01/2025: Really very disappointed, endless wait. Not great pancakes served almost cold. It doesn't make you want to come back.
25/01/2025: Saturday 25, around 7 p.m., it was not possible to create your cake à la carte due to a lack of staff, a real shame and it's definitely not our problem. Unfortunately for us, the usual crispness of the pancake was not there and the filling was a little light. Dessert will be taken elsewhere!

29/07/2024: En ces fortes chaleurs, j’ai commandé une grande salade avec du thon.
Bravo, l’énoncé est respecté : de la salade mal triée et un peu d’une boîte de thon sans saveur.
Pas de sauce.
Rien qui surprend ou qui relève.
Une assiette moche, toute plate, en deuil.
Seul son prix est épicé pour le contenu de l’assiette.
Quelle tristesse !

Il y a plein de légumes en ce moment qui ont du goût, des couleurs.
C’est quand même pas compliqué de faire bon avec des produits simples que nous produisons en local!!! Allez faire un tour sur le marché chez Prunier. Ils vont donneront des idées.
