22/09/2024: We were looking for something light and this fitted the bill! We read the reviews and headed out to find it, tiny little place with majority of seating outside. The food was really tasty, very authentic and the team were friendly and efficient in their service

18/08/2024: Excellent restaurant asiatique. Nous nous sommes régalés de brochettes sauce Stay et rouleau de printemps. Puis Pad Thaï aux crevettes et wok nouilles légumes au boeuf. Tout est ultra frais. L'équipe est très accueillante et sympathique. N'hésitez pas à vous arrêter et à déguster sur place ou à emporter.

02/09/2024: Big disappointment. Bad welcome, non-air-conditioned room, average quality catering with overall very mixed service.

16/08/2024: Unfortunately, hardly anyone speaks English, the lady at reception forgot to reserve a table for us in the restaurant as agreed. A table was kindly set out for us, but it was tiny, old and out of the way for the four of us...Dinner was ok on our siding. Prices in the restaurant are high but ok. The rooms are ok but for the price you could definitely expect a little more maintenance or care. Neither cell phone reception nor WiFi in the room was also not very attractive for us. As other reports have stated, it is a beautiful location but it is not possible to visit the gardens or any areas of interest as these areas are closed off as private. This is a real shame and was not apparent to us when we booked. My daughter wanted to sleep in a castle and see the beautiful gardens. Unfortunately it was an expensive failure. Maybe suitable for golf enthusiasts but otherwise not recommended.

01/09/2024: la vue est effectivement superbe, le coin calme et reposant nous avons bien mangé mais il y a quelques points qui gâchent un peu l'expérience : - accueil correct mais on nous a oublié pour les cafés - plats très bons mais quantité un peu juste (surtout vu le prix du menu) même pour un appétit moyen ; d'ailleurs quand il est annoncé tomate farcie au risotto on s'attend à la tomate entière et pas à une tranche - couteau de cantine qui coupe mal la viande nous avons été déçus par rapport à une expérience antérieure

07/08/2024: We booked 2 nights. Very happy with our stay. Authon, pretty little village. The cottage is very well placed. We had a very Good welcome, very nice owners. 2 dinners taken. Very generous and very good. Same breakfasts. Crispy, warm bread, heather honey, a treat, and homemade red fruit jam. A great stay with the sound of the river

01/12/2024: Pâtes carbonara: aucun goût, insipide, assemblage de produits non qualitatifs. Pizza: la pâte très fin, qui ne ressemble en aucun cas a de la pâte à pizza. Première est dernière fois que nous mettons les pieds dans ce restaurant. C'est une honte pour la vrai cuisine italienne.

11/10/2024: Une étoile car impossible de mettre zéro ! Service détestable : on a le sentiment de déranger . Cuisine infecte . La pâte des pizzas est si fine que l'on croirait de la feuille de brik ! Tout cela pour faire un maximum de bénéfices ! Un conseil : n'y allez surtout pas !

19/10/2025: Just had a drink with friends at the end of a walk. Relaxed atmosphere. Shaded terrace or possibility of being in the sun a little higher up. Perfect 👍

25/09/2024: Very nice experience, the boss is very friendly, attentive and attentive to detail. The 4 cheese tomato base was excellent. I recommend without hesitation.
