17/08/2026: The location is quiet and pleasant, and the staff is very friendly and attentive, which is definitely a strong point. Unfortunately, the dining experience was not up to expectations. The dishes had a rather banal appearance, more like cafeteria food than what you would expect from a restaurant. The fish soup and the bouillabaisse had a very particular spice taste, which I have never encountered before and which, personally, I found quite strange and unpleasant. Overall, the atmosphere and service were good, but the food could use more attention to both the presentation and the balance of flavors.

20/08/2026: 🤣🤣What is this place? You practically have to go there to visit Marseille; it feels like you're in a parallel universe... What a mess... just like the Grand Littoral shopping center 😅😅 Just a heads-up: apparently, it's impossible to order a children's meal at the kiosk today. So you have to order in person and ask the cashier to put it on takeout... crazy, that too. And if you ask the employees, they'll tell you it's not possible to get a children's meal to go today... At the same time, they clearly seem understaffed and overwhelmed... probably cost-cutting measures by management. In any case, I take my hat off to them; they're incredibly brave to accept these working conditions that influence customer behavior...

10/08/2026: ⭐ Very disappointing review I used to come to this ice cream shop about ten years ago, and unfortunately, I found that the establishment had changed a great deal. I bought a pastry for €6.70 and was very disappointed: I found it very greasy, very sweet, and particularly dense, with a price-quality ratio that didn't convince me. I was also quite bothered by what seemed to me to be very questionable hygiene. The bin was overflowing, which gives a bad impression when you're there to eat in. Finally, I was served a glass of water in a very hot glass, which is quite surprising for serving water. It's a real shame, because I had fond memories of this place ten years ago. For me, today's experience is far from what I had known before.

10/08/2026: To think this place used to be a Marseille institution, the delicious pastries are definitely a thing of the past… a Castel and a caramel mille-feuille at €6.70 each… how can I put it? A taste of grease and sugar in the mouth, and a far from warm welcome… In short, I won't be going back; there's no point with pastries this bad.

28/08/2026: A small restaurant with a fairly varied, if somewhat stale, menu (it needs updating). The main courses were good, the desserts a little less so. My main issue was with the service (I had to ask for a carafe of water three times before getting it, bread twice, salt...). In the end, we ate for a reasonable price.

12/08/2026: A truly unpleasant experience today. I was accosted by an employee who was worried about her parked car, which she claimed I'd bumped while weaving my way to an empty space with my bike in hand. I assured her I hadn't touched her car, but without even checking, she made it clear she didn't believe me (she "didn't know" if I was telling the truth). There are certainly better ways to be received. Then, I was lectured by a very gallant customer who couldn't fathom how anyone could talk back to a lady... (As a woman, she's probably not capable of defending herself against even the slightest objection). Very macho and perhaps a little too drunk, he generously promised me a "smack" without me having said a word. I had the weakness to reply with a word whose variant, perhaps tolerated by Google, is "idiot" 🤔. His response, however, cannot be quoted here, but it alludes to my mother's lineage, who supposedly had a job that required long walks on the sidewalk... given that I have short hair and he must have had unpleasant experiences with the police, he also calls me a name that reveals his admiration for this profession: dirty... etc. While he's showering me with insults, an employee comes by twice in the middle of the night to remind me that I shouldn't be insulting. He just neglects to remind the customer (probably a regular... that gives him certain privileges). At the checkout, I tried again to reason with the employee who was worried about her car, expressing surprise that despite all her fuss, she hadn't checked her door. Busy cleaning, she calmly replied that she didn't understand why I was responding to her accusations (apparently I wasn't playing along... she just wanted to liven things up a bit, "Marseille-style"?). The cashier, for her part, told me she was "shocked" to see me walk so close to her colleague's car, armed with my bicycle. She, too, "didn't know," but she had her suspicions about imaginary scratches. What bothers me is that the incident was caused by an employee, and that a customer with highly questionable behavior (physical threats, insults, including against the police) wasn't put in his place at all by the employee who intervened to restore order... to me, that amounts to complicity. Fully aware that I have written a novel, but wanting to calmly denounce inappropriate, insulting, and stupid behavior...which could be reproduced at the whim of these ladies and gentlemen...

05/08/2026: Okay, apparently they close at 2:00 AM, but they stop serving at midnight. We'll spend our money elsewhere 😊

17/07/2026: The service wasn't great. We had to get our own drinks because no server came to us. The cocktail was terrible and there were way too many ice cubes. A bad experience. I regret it.

14/08/2026: Good pastry shop with very good, fresh products. The service is friendly and fairly fast. I especially enjoyed the coffee and biscuit.

29/08/2026: They're lucky to be in a good location and to exist thanks to their history. There's no one to serve you, and when you complain after 20 minutes, they tell you to go next door. Which we did. I've had good times here before, but it's become an incredibly unpleasant place. The trendy, hipster waitresses seem tired and jaded, and are rude and impolite. I will never come back here.

28/08/2026: This restaurant offers good, modern take on local cuisine, such as aioli with grilled sea bream. The desserts are homemade and very well done. The decor is average (a sort of casual chic with peeling paint and exposed plaster), and the service was a bit forgetful when it came time to order dessert.
