27/08/2026: The public square across the street is literally overrun with tables and chairs from this bar. And when you sit down on one of the public benches, the owner gives you a look as if you've just committed a crime. What a shame. We felt obligated to buy anything. The atmosphere was tense and not at all welcoming.

26/08/2026: A very well-run restaurant with a dynamic and friendly team. We came for lunch with part of our team for our return to work, and we were all warmly welcomed and delighted in this iconic location in our region. A must-try! We will definitely be back for our end-of-year meals or game nights and will recommend this establishment to everyone we know. Thank you again and well done!

10/09/2026: An incredible experience! The starter was perfect, the main course even better, and I tasted the best caipirinha I've ever had in France. As a Brazilian, that really touched me. The waiter and the owner were incredibly attentive. Thank you so much for this unforgettable evening!

10/09/2026: I was very happy in previous years, but everything has changed. The servers are unpleasant, the food isn't the same as before, and the waiter would come and tell us if there was more of this or that. There was practically nothing left, and on top of that, we saw cockroaches in the establishment. So, that's it, we won't be back.

17/06/2026: The place is nice, we were greeted quickly with a smile, and the service was professional. A little disappointed by the bread, but otherwise the products are excellent.

29/07/2026: Catastrophic. We came as a group of six for a business lunch. Once we arrived, the menu on the website wasn't the same as the one in the restaurant... fine. When we went to order, we were told that half the dishes on the menu weren't available. We waited over 50 minutes for half of our order, all because they had forgotten to send the other half. On the plate, the sea bream (which looked strangely like cod) was undercooked and TINY: for 28 euros, that's outrageous. None of us finished our meals. It was tasteless, frankly not good at all. Considering the prices, you'd expect at least decent service.

18/07/2026: We stopped at La Balagne for a cocktail, the only place in the area with two trees providing a welcome bit of shade this time of year. Besides the excellent cocktails, the warm welcome and the pleasant atmosphere on the terrace made us want to stay for dinner. The pizzas are truly excellent, and the red mullet fillets with pastis were a real treat. In short, a fantastic evening; you can go without hesitation. Thank you, La Balagne, for this lovely evening; we'll gladly return.

17/07/2026: The welcome was more than pleasant; I just left. Since I arrived very late at night, I was lucky enough to encounter a very kind lady who kindly gave me bottles of water and refused to charge me.

26/08/2026: Honestly, I was skeptical after seeing the recent reviews, but I was already seated... No regrets. The mussels were delicious, a very generous portion, the service was pleasant, and the view of the harbor from the terrace was magnificent. The only slight drawback was that the Maroilles sauce was too runny and at the bottom of the pot, so I could only enjoy it once I'd almost finished my meal.

05/06/2026: Recommended by the Marseille Tourist Office. They said they would answer our call shortly. The website states "no reservations after May 30th." We went there in the pouring rain only to find out the restaurant had been closed for three days because "the owner has retired!" Nothing was mentioned about it. Awful! 😡

26/06/2026: The food was decent, but the service was disorganized. The dishes arrived haphazardly, one starter was forgotten, and the dessert from the daily menu was no longer available. Disappointed, especially since it had been so well-regarded. What a shame.

20/06/2026: A wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. As for the food, it's a delight—a small menu, fresh, high-quality ingredients, which is rare these days! There was a change of ownership in December 2025. You can go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed 😉

29/08/2026: We were warmly welcomed by Yakim. He was a lovely waiter and very attentive to his customers. A big thank you to him; he made our visit very pleasant.

29/08/2026: The children's menu really needs to be reviewed. Plain pasta, no cheese, no sauce, served with a steak… it's just so disappointing! Children have discerning palates too and enjoy discovering new things; they shouldn't be underestimated. My daughter barely ate any of her main course; however, she devoured the tapenade! 😄 It's a shame, especially in an establishment where you expect more refined cuisine, even for the youngest diners.
