19/04/2026: A warm welcome awaits you; from the moment you arrive, the tone is set and one of kindness is established. The new menu is delicious and generous, with a particular favorite being the octopus tentacles.

18/04/2026: Having been regulars at the Intercontinental brunch during Chef Lévy's tenure, these recent experiences, especially the Easter brunch, are nothing like the excellence we enjoyed before! With Chef Lévy's team, the experience was a spectacle! The service was impeccable, and the waitresses and waiters were perfect! From our second visit onwards, we had the same servers as the previous weeks, and they knew everyone's habits… they never left a table without still AND sparkling water (included in the price at the time). There were numerous stations… a classic breakfast station with pain au chocolat, croissants and other pastries, scrambled eggs, soft-boiled eggs, and poached eggs… a station for making risotto, a station for grilled lobster, a room dedicated solely to cheeses, gigantic Lego Technic constructions (Ferris wheels), an "Easter Trail"… the hostesses dedicated to the children were easily identifiable by their outfits, and the chef himself came out to greet the guests towards the end of brunch… children AND parents left with loads of goodies (Clarins collaboration) and their taste buds delighted by new flavor combinations, each more unusual than the last! This last brunch was good, but I will no longer consider it an exceptional experience. Obviously, this opinion doesn't represent everyone I know, as we've seen both versions. Today, we can see that costs have been "optimized," and the presence of a central island, a standard feature in any all-you-can-eat restaurant, confirms that this trend is here to stay. It's also more expensive than the previous versions! Another important point: all the parasols were open, with no way to close them, making it extremely cold and therefore unpleasant for those seated in the center. The atmosphere and overall quality were elevated thanks to the live singer who delivered an exceptional performance. His undeniable talent and superb repertoire were on full display!

28/06/2026: One evening during a rugby semi-final match... and no problem at all. Efficient and friendly service, despite the difficulty of getting into the restaurant due to the crowds. So, well done to the team!

21/06/2026: We had a great time with colleagues before heading to a rugby match at the Vélodrome stadium. The terrace was huge. There were lots of servers and several beer taps. As a result, it was quite smooth and quick.

01/06/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at Villa Mermoz. I went there yesterday and was surprised by the complete lack of rules regarding customer attire and behavior. Seeing people keep their hats on at their tables in an establishment of this caliber is already regrettable, but what was most disturbing was the general lack of respect in the dining room: phones used with the volume at full blast, without any intervention from the staff. The atmosphere was severely degraded, and the meal lost all its enjoyment. It's a shame, because the setting could be much more pleasant with a minimum of courtesy and more attention paid to this matter by management.

He gave us a warm welcome, advised us with great professionalism, and helped us throughout our visit. Thanks to him, we had an excellent experience, and I will gladly return. 16/04/2026: I just paid €7 for what was supposed to be a "milkshake," but the reality was quite different: a simple scoop of ice cream drowned in a glass of blended milk with ice cubes. The result? It tasted like water with milk and the bare minimum of caramel flavor. It's honestly outrageous to sell this as a milkshake. You can tell they're cutting corners on ingredients at the customer's expense. It was bland and disappointing. I won't comment on the rest of the menu, but as for the "milkshake," it was a huge letdown. Paying that price for caramel-flavored milk and water is unacceptable.

09/04/2026: I paid for two milkshakes, and they had no flavor whatsoever, just milk. They were really bad. And there was no Kinder chocolate!

12/06/2026: The pizzas are excellent, the dough is simply divine. All of this is served with great kindness. And the view of Notre-Dame de la Garde is a nice bonus.

12/06/2026: For my first time, it was fantastic. The pizza was amazing. Even though it's a bit pricey, it's worth the trip. And yet, back home in Nancy, there are some good ones too.

23/05/2026: Sadly! And unbelievably… especially for these beautiful warm days they do not serve Aperol or Hugo spritz! I’ve never been after many years in France ever been to a nicer restaurant that simply chooses not to offer Aperol! Bummer! Crazy part?! Beware the Mojito is €20 and entirely not worth it … so Definitely out to get tourists! No joke I had to come back to edit that they ran out of their fixed menu chicken choice and the only alternative was lamb. Psyche🙄

08/06/2026: The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The classroom-like atmosphere with the books and comics is pleasant. I deducted one star because the toilets weren't very clean and were a mess; it's a shame because it can send the wrong message, even though the food is good.

13/07/2026: Awful service, very slow and ignored me when I made eye contact multiple times. Paella was not that great, especially for the price. Then they had the nerve to ask us for a tip at the end. Would not recommend!
