09/07/2025: A Michelin-starred restaurant, just the way we like them. A well-deserved star! Everything was perfect: the dishes were beautifully crafted with well-balanced flavors and textures, the service was top-notch and very friendly, and the team was attentive to adapting the menu for pregnant women. The setting is magnificent. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return! Thank you all.

09/07/2025: Me and my friends visited Chez Steph for lunch and we all had different cuts of steak from the menu. Each steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The steaks come with fries which were also tasty. The prices are very good for a steak meal and the service was very quick. Would definitely recommended if you are in the area!

15/01/2025: Super delicious restaurant, friendly service and really good food. We were a large party of 11 people, so we got a bit different to eat but everything was perfectly cooked. Located in a small cozy town, very busy, so remember to book a table.

01/09/2024: So the beautiful star what can I say the plates are very copious however the contents 😪 Périgourdine with 1 kg of bacon without dried duck breast or foie gras toast on stale bread Then you ask for the same bread, always stale To see again!!!!

14/12/2024: This is the second time we have come to this restaurant. The food is very good and the service is good. The prices are very reasonable and the plates are very generous. I doubt the authenticity of the negative comments that I read before coming.

13/12/2024: I ate with my daughter 2 days ago and it was a pleasant experience. For my part, we took a plancha with prawns, scallops and fish. What a delight and as much as you want. My daughter tasted tartare, beef and duck and this tasting was a nice surprise. To do again.

04/11/2025: A pleasant small and cozy restaurant in a beautiful little French village. We went for lunch with a set menu for 17€. The price-quality ratio was very good.

21/09/2025: A pleasant Sunday afternoon on the terrace with a drink and a good homemade chocolate waffle. The server was friendly and accommodating. I recommend it. PS: Served with a white napkin and clean cutlery!! 😉

14/09/2024: Restaurant découvert pour notre passage à Angoulême. Très bonne expérience en famille (5 personnes) ! Le cuisinier fait griller les viandes au feu de bois au coeur du restaurant. Satisfaits à la fois de l'accueil ( très agréables et à l'écoute), des plats ( Burger city et côtelettes d'agneau) et des desserts ( Charlotte aux fraises et moelleux au chocolat, très bons ! ) Bref, toute la famille est ravie. Merci d'avoir fait de notre moment en famille une réussite !

14/12/2024: Always a pleasure to eat here, superb service and matching food, the knowledgeable staff are happy to make recommendations and will even suggest the eating order of the foods to maximise the experience, the cognac bar is well stocked for those partial to an after meal digestive, yes, the price may seem high but when you consider the quality, and the fact the portions are well sized, this is actually a well balanced outlay. The restaurant is able to cater for gluten intolerance without notice and understand allergies. Not being french, my knowledge of expensive fermented grape juice is limited, but I do know that the selection caters for many tastes and budgets and again, the staff are happy to recommend matched wines
