03/02/2026: It's difficult to review a crêperie, as the process can seem quite standard. And yet... We almost missed it, simply because L’Olympia is also a performance venue: the facade and the curtains that largely obscure the interior might lead you to believe it's not a restaurant in the traditional sense. This would be a mistake, especially since it's one of the few establishments open on Mondays in Cognac, and highly rated. Once inside, the surprise is delightful: modern, stylish, and tasteful decor, and a pleasant atmosphere. The welcome and service are impeccable, warm, and efficient. The prices are very reasonable, and the freshness and quality of the ingredients make all the difference, both for the savory and sweet crêpes. A simple, honest, and very well-run establishment that we recommend without hesitation: Crêperie L’Olympia.

Everything was perfect: the dishes were beautifully crafted with well-balanced flavors and textures, the service was top-notch and very friendly, and the team was attentive to adapting the menu for pregnant women. 21/02/2026: What a wonderful restaurant! We were greeted by Jérôme, a fantastic host. He truly understands his customers. The set menu consisted of a starter of snails, a recipe from his grandmother. A delicious dish of escargots followed, along with tomatoes and small sausages. Our main course, the sirloin steak, was perfectly cooked, the result was excellent. In short, a lovely meal, a good glass of wine, and outstanding service. What more could you ask for when you're dining with friends?

19/01/2026: We had an excellent meal on a Sunday at lunchtime. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The portions were generous, and the vegetable gratin was a delight. The decor skillfully blends old stone walls with Art Deco. An unlikely combination, but one that works beautifully. And the waitress was simply lovely, so attentive to both adults and children (I think my 7-year-old son fell in love with her!). We will gladly return to try the other many meat dishes on the menu.

Delicious food from simple no well presented menu. Greta wine choices, of course. Booked online. Simple online reservation, though the acknowledgment email needs to be much more rapid to be reassuring for those travelling. Hopefully this is an easy fix🤞

Each room is tastefully decorated, unique, and different, which adds a great deal of charm to the place. But above all, the human interaction was particularly pleasant, sincere, and genuine.
