Everything was perfect: the dishes were beautifully crafted with well-balanced flavors and textures, the service was top-notch and very friendly, and the team was attentive to adapting the menu for pregnant women. The setting is magnificent. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return! Thank you all.

09/07/2025: Me and my friends visited Chez Steph for lunch and we all had different cuts of steak from the menu. Each steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The steaks come with fries which were also tasty. The prices are very good for a steak meal and the service was very quick. Would definitely recommended if you are in the area!

14/12/2024: Always a pleasure to eat here, superb service and matching food, the knowledgeable staff are happy to make recommendations and will even suggest the eating order of the foods to maximise the experience, the cognac bar is well stocked for those partial to an after meal digestive, yes, the price may seem high but when you consider the quality, and the fact the portions are well sized, this is actually a well balanced outlay. The restaurant is able to cater for gluten intolerance without notice and understand allergies. Not being french, my knowledge of expensive fermented grape juice is limited, but I do know that the selection caters for many tastes and budgets and again, the staff are happy to recommend matched wines

01/09/2024: Magnificent experience to have dinner next door and already in the surrounding area in the middle of the FFA festivals without reservation or I was kindly delayed at 8:30 p.m. to have dinner for 2 people on the Place du Palet, it's up to you to look for the Saint André everything is perfect impossible to dine on the terrace because full but offered the waiter to find me a place as possible but we in the 2nd servervices magnificent place inside with air conditioning that we had after dinner impeccable value for money nothing to complain about. 13/09/2024: Father and son dinner. Excellent friendly and efficient service. Lovely ambience. Seated promptly. Our main végétarien galettes and desert crepes arrived swiftly and were extremely well presented and beautifully tasty accompanied by ‘cidre traditionalé’. Absolutely a lovely and most enjoyable dining experience. Hope to return to this lovely restaurant soon.

14/09/2024: Restaurant découvert pour notre passage à Angoulême. Très bonne expérience en famille (5 personnes) ! Le cuisinier fait griller les viandes au feu de bois au coeur du restaurant. Satisfaits à la fois de l'accueil ( très agréables et à l'écoute), des plats ( Burger city et côtelettes d'agneau) et des desserts ( Charlotte aux fraises et moelleux au chocolat, très bons ! ) Bref, toute la famille est ravie. Merci d'avoir fait de notre moment en famille une réussite !

21/08/2024: La nourriture est régionale et le dessert est fait maison. Les propriétaires servent personnellement. L'ambiance est très familiale et agréable. La nouvelle terrasse pour s'asseoir à l'extérieur a amélioré le restaurant. Un très bon rapport qualité-prix.
