I recommend this establishment; our cousin, who invited us, eats there regularly and is always very satisfied.

The dining room is traditional and welcoming, the menu is varied, the food is high quality, and the prices are reasonable. A special mention goes to the owner, who treats customers very kindly and takes care of everything quickly and efficiently!

29/07/2026: Passing through today (July 29th) in 36°C heat to pick up a few supplies and do some shopping, I was deeply shocked by the response I received from the information desk/security. Traveling with my two dogs (Border Collies, a breed that is absolutely not restricted), and wanting to spare them the ordeal of an overheated car, I simply asked if I could wait 10 minutes with them at the very beginning of the shopping mall (well before the food areas and checkouts), just while my partner did our shopping. I was flatly refused, or told they could wait only if they were muzzled. Since my dogs are not restricted breeds, I don't have muzzles for them on a daily basis. So, I had to stay outside with them in the sweltering heat for their safety. At a time when awareness is constantly being raised about animal protection and the dangers of heatstroke in summer, applying regulations in such a blind and rigid manner is unacceptable. The mall is vast, entrance 3 is quite far from the food section, and leaving two dogs to wait a few minutes in the shade and cool air posed no health risk. Compared to other European countries (like Italy) or other large shopping centers (Carrefour) where common sense prevails during heatwaves when it comes to allowing animals into the mall, Leclerc Paridis is showing a very poor example here. It's high time to change our approach to these issues and demonstrate a minimum of humanity and common sense in the face of extreme temperatures.

28/07/2026: Appalling! I bought a product on their website and picked it up in store. It turned out to be defective, so I filed a complaint. Four months later, I still haven't received any response other than customer satisfaction surveys asking if my interaction with customer service went well... unbelievable!

29/04/2026: The cashier on April 29th kept huffing and puffing with every item purchased: 4 cheeses, one puff of cake, one puff of bread and galette, and another puff for the sausages... The products are very good, but you really get the feeling you're bothering them at the entrance. It's a shame.

03/07/2026: We must have caught the staff on a bad day (compared to all the glowing reviews). - We weren't offered carafes of water despite ordering food and drinks, despite the heatwave, and despite being a group of older women. The law is clearly not being followed, as a carafe of water must be provided to any customer who orders food or drinks in a restaurant. - We were subjected to several unpleasant remarks. One thing is for sure: we won't be going back!

22/07/2026: While the quality of the food and its reasonable prices were undeniable, the waitress's service was questionable. Literally five seconds after my wife put down her fork, our plates were snatched away without any explanation. I mentioned this to a manager, but she showed no concern or apology for the inconsiderate behavior.

15/07/2026: I came to eat lunch with a friend on the terrace today. The service was impeccable and attentive. Solène was very pleasant and served us from beginning to end. Thank you so much to her. The dishes and desserts were excellent. We will definitely recommend and return to Le Comptoir de Paris 🙂

12/07/2026: We came on a Saturday at lunchtime with my partner and our child. The restaurant is located in a very peaceful setting, away from the hustle and bustle, in the middle of the forest, which is very pleasant. I chose the lamb shank, a sure thing for me, and I found it very good. A very good experience that makes us want to come back, especially to try the sweetbreads, which looked very appetizing.

22/05/2026: The restaurant is nicely decorated, well located, with parking and a terrace. We had a meal for a group; the starter was very generous, the quenelle dish was a bit of a mixed bag, but the sauce was good, and the dessert was very good. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff were very friendly.

28/02/2026: A wonderful memory of this stopover in the heart of the small village of Chavignol. The hotel is opposite a producer of Crottin de Chavignol cheese, a family who also produces very high-quality Sancerre and Pouilly wines (their estate is not far from the hotel). The hotel is charming, and finally: A fantastic tasting menu at the restaurant, which I chose to pair with wines from the Bourgeois family (high-end wines, including glasses of wine that sell for over €40 a bottle at the estate). The entire tasting menu was served for €40 – a real bargain, don't hesitate! The restaurant also has a very lovely decor. I will definitely return.

Congratulations to the chef! We recommend this hotel without hesitation.
