18/09/2024: Well located bistro but the welcome needs to be reviewed. Unfriendly waiters who sigh at each request. 25 min wait to get the card. Other restaurants are much more worth it in Beaune.

06/09/2024: It’s ok. The service is great. The food is good. But… at the end of the day, the menu is dull. Nothing a relatively experienced home cook couldn’t pull off on a weeknight. It’s a very good chicken and lovely whipped potatoes at a mind numbingly ridiculously high price. Honestly, I expect way more at a Michelan restaurant. It seems in Beaune, they are given out as party favors, where in the rest of the world the food must be spectacular, innovative, special and memorable. If you are going for the wine and the service, decent but boring food, and a really high bill, look no further.

30/07/2024: Between the description found in the Michelin Guide of this so-called “chic” bistro honoring local flavors and products and reality there is not a gap but a gulf. The welcome is basic, a guest's napkin has a hole in it and although we drew the attention of a waiter to this subject, it will never be replaced. The dishes follow one another and only reinforce the idea that we would have been better off booking elsewhere. If the price is right, the quality of the food is absolutely not. The puree is messy and inedible. We report it to the waiter who offers us a new one. As a precaution, to preserve our taste buds, we prefer to ask for the bill... salty, very salty, too salty and leave the establishment. Wine by the glass is offered to us but that is no consolation because the latter (32 euros per glass) was not up to par either. We leave this place relieved that the experience has ended but with the unpleasant feeling of having been the victim of an imposture. We don't know when this establishment shone for the quality of its cuisine but it must have been a long time ago. A serious questioning is necessary before the shipwreck.

17/09/2024: When you arrive at the parking lot, the hotel looks dilapidated. Peeling paintwork on facade. On the entrance/terrace to the right of the entrance there are large tiles lying all over the place: link! Kitchen decoration is not much: decorated room just before the entrance to the small swimming pool. At checkout, the lady tries to charge a higher price!! So pay close attention. Won't be a second visit ever.

10/09/2024: Overall the hotel is quite nice. The recently renovated room, probably with a standard appearance, has no personality. The problem is nearby! Truck parking and drivers who start their refrigerated engines in the middle of the night!! A nearby nightclub will allow you to listen to some music in the depths of the night as well as the ruckus of customers returning home. To the wise....

08/08/2024: Hotel very well located, central, you can walk to all points of interest. The rooms are small and old, but everything is very clean and air conditioned. Breakfast is correct, open buffet. They have parking for €10 a day, which is appreciated, because it is very difficult to park nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the tall guy at reception on the night shift who is charming.

04/08/2024: Establishment ideally located near the historic center and the main sites to visit. The rooms and breakfast are OK, only the bedding leaves something to be desired, a lot of creaking when you move and it's very unpleasant. But overall establishment to recommend

18/09/2024: No bad surprises, quite the contrary! We were very well received. The 3 formulas (even in the evening!) offer sufficient choice. For €30 for two, including 1/2 wine, a coke, and unlimited water, we can only praise the excellent value for money. The buffets are stocked and replenished throughout the evening, the bread is delicious.

12/09/2024: Very friendly trucker restaurant. The starter, cheese and dessert buffets offer choice, the service is fast and friendly. Special mention for Chantal, thank you for your kindness and good humor.

25/08/2024: As always, being foreign and especially Italian, has its 'negative side'. Entered at 6.30pm only for an aperitif for 4, treated like the last wanted customers on the face of the earth. Outside the restaurant the sign obviously said only in French: "2 aperitifs = a platter of cheeses and cured meats offered".... Do you think the platters have arrived? Absolutely not and when we asked for explanations, they brought us a small bowl of peanuts. Furthermore, they wanted the bill to be settled immediately while all the other customers, clearly local, paid at the end of everything. NOT RECOMMENDED IF ITALIANS AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU HOPE TO HAVE AN APERITIF

18/09/2024: Nous aurions dû commencer par regarder les avis avant d’y aller ! Coupe de champagne plate et tiède …qui sera changée par le serveur ! Escargots servis sans couverts sans un « bon appétit » et sans boisson … erreur sur un des deux plats … le poulet fade était recouvert de sauce …impossible de voir que ce n’était pas le jambon braisé commandé … nous avons arrêté là notre repas et demandé l’addition particulièrement salée … nos voisins étaient eux aussi bien déçus . Les 2 serveurs seuls pour une salle et 2 terrasses ne peuvent pas tout gérer !… Bref repas gâché…heureusement que d’autres adresses à Beaune méritent ,elles ,le détour !

01/09/2024: Prima gegeten, kipfilet met mosterdroomsaus, frietjes en sla en mijn man had Boeuf Bourgignon met aardappelpuree en groenten. Was prima allebei en de bediening is snel en vriendelijk! Leuk terras in een gezellig straatje. Ik denk dat de beoordelingen van 2022 echt niet meer van toepassing zijn, dus ga hier gerust eten!
