30/08/2024: finalmente in borgogna per l'agognato tour dei vini, scegliamo il menù fisso a € 30 che include antipasto con uova cotte in vino rosso, un bel manzo alla bourguignonne, davvero tenero, servito con patate e per finire formaggio per dessert, vino rosso chorey les beaune maillard a € 45.

01/09/2024: Very good value for money... the meurette eggs with white wine are surprising but very good. The menu is balanced and the sommelier's suggestions are excellent... we recommend the restaurant for the plate, the terrace and the service!

31/08/2024: This is a beautiful and very well located hotel in Beaune, just a short walk across the street into the old town. The receptionist was very courteous and showed us to our room. We didn’t request parking in the underground parking, which was full for the night, but we easily found free parking across the road under the trees (be careful of bird droppings). The hotel has a strict cancellation policy, we were traveling with an elderly relative and booked a few days in advance, but then the relative changed plans, so we were stuck with two rooms because the cancellation policy is five days in advance. After many calls we were able to get one room canceled. The room we booked was a family room that consisted of a double bed, bath on one level and a loft with a pullout couch bed that our teenage daughter really loved, it even had some type of music player that she was immediately able to connect with. We don’t usually stay at 5 star hotels, we only booked it for our relative and would have cancelled if we had been able to, but looking back at it it was a real treat to stay that one night at a top notch establishment. 17/08/2024: Déjeuner pour 3 (2 adultes et 1 enfant) à l extérieur dans un joli jardin ombragé, arboré et frais. Nous avons tous pris le menu Tradition (il existe un menu enfant). Service, présentation, plats délicieux. La brigade est discrète et efficace pour nous présenter les plats et répondre aux éventuelles questions. Je recommande vivement !

21/09/2024: Très agréable restaurant. Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse en cours intérieure. Nourriture de qualité et une carte des vins de rêve. Une belle adresse à Beaune.

21/09/2024: Voici une jolie découverte de cuisine française inventive et délicieuse. Nous avons dîné à la carte. Comptez 65 E minimum par personne avec un verre de vin de Bourgogne de bonne qualité.

29/08/2024: Nous avons pris le menu bourguignon, nous nous sommes régalés. Le personnel est sympathique et souriant. Je recommande ce restaurant si vous passez faire escale à Beaune.

25/10/2024: Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Das Menu de Jour war bei uns Zwiebelsuppe, Boeuf Bourgignon und Cremé Brulee. Alles sehr lecker. Wir hatten dazu einen Wein aus der Region, der Chancen hat, Lieblingswein zu werden. Der Service war einwandfrei, sehr schnell, sehr freundlich. Wir werden unbedingt wieder dort einkehren bei unserem nächsten Stopp in Beaune.

20/10/2024: Nous avons été très bien accueillis, vers 14h. Un serveur attentionné, un échange de garniture du plat principal accepté avec facilité, un plat du jour copieux, une cuisson parfaite. Un café gourmand généreux. Franchement un agréable déjeuner sur une journée de visite de la ville, nous sommes repartis satisfaits 😊

21/08/2024: Deuxième expérience dans ce restaurant et toujours aussi satisfaits, les plats sont de qualité, bien présentés. Nous avons de nouveau passé un excellent moment pour notre anniversaire de mariage et nous savons déjà que nous reviendrons. Un des restaurant à faire sur Beaune sans hésiter !

28/08/2024: On the pricey side, but well worth it for the food. Few/no vegetarian options, but they think very well about solutions. Star less because there was 6 euros worth of water on the bill without asking for it.

06/09/2024: It’s ok. The service is great. The food is good. But… at the end of the day, the menu is dull. Nothing a relatively experienced home cook couldn’t pull off on a weeknight. It’s a very good chicken and lovely whipped potatoes at a mind numbingly ridiculously high price. Honestly, I expect way more at a Michelan restaurant. It seems in Beaune, they are given out as party favors, where in the rest of the world the food must be spectacular, innovative, special and memorable. If you are going for the wine and the service, decent but boring food, and a really high bill, look no further.

30/07/2024: Between the description found in the Michelin Guide of this so-called “chic” bistro honoring local flavors and products and reality there is not a gap but a gulf. The welcome is basic, a guest's napkin has a hole in it and although we drew the attention of a waiter to this subject, it will never be replaced. The dishes follow one another and only reinforce the idea that we would have been better off booking elsewhere. If the price is right, the quality of the food is absolutely not. The puree is messy and inedible. We report it to the waiter who offers us a new one. As a precaution, to preserve our taste buds, we prefer to ask for the bill... salty, very salty, too salty and leave the establishment. Wine by the glass is offered to us but that is no consolation because the latter (32 euros per glass) was not up to par either. We leave this place relieved that the experience has ended but with the unpleasant feeling of having been the victim of an imposture. We don't know when this establishment shone for the quality of its cuisine but it must have been a long time ago. A serious questioning is necessary before the shipwreck.

22/01/2026: The cashier was extremely rude and arrogant. I inquired about the availability of a wine, and she responded aggressively, calling me a "wine speculator." A traumatic experience.

16/11/2025: I passed through Beaune in August 2023. They had a great selection of wines at really good prices. Sure, Burgundy wines aren't exactly cheap, but they're hard to find online, and certainly not cheaper. The owner was a bit reserved, but very friendly nonetheless. She had a bit of a hard time with me, though, because I had, and still have, almost no idea about the countless wineries in Burgundy.

24/11/2024: “Disappointing experience, far from the standards of a 4 star” We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Several negative points: • The network is very poor, even with the hotel Wi-Fi. Unable to connect properly. •We had a PMR room (accessible to people with reduced mobility) even though we didn't need one. No consideration of our needs. •When we arrived, the room was freezing, the air conditioning was on while it was snowing outside. A totally incomprehensible situation. •No bottle of water in the room, an essential detail for a hotel of this standard. •The bathroom was flooded after each shower, because there is no shower tray. In addition, the doors of the shower gel and shampoo dispensers were rusty, a real lack of maintenance. •The towels provided were stained and some even had holes. •We had booked a room with a queen bed, but discovered that it was actually two mattresses pushed together, creating a very uncomfortable hollow in the middle of the bed. •The room overlooked the street, and it was noisy most of the night. •The reception was far from professional: at 9:30 p.m., we found two young people in full discussion, seated very casually in sweaters and down jackets. An image not at all worthy of a hotel that claims to have 4 stars. •The price of parking was announced at €8 on the site, but charged €10 at reception. We clarified this when we left, to which we were told: oh yes, it's a small error. No commercial gesture made. The only positive point: the location, very convenient. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this hotel, especially for the asking price. A big disappointment.

20/10/2024: Hotel very well located, pleasant and accommodating staff, very good breakfast and nice rooms, with very little noise. Welcoming with animals (a shepherd for me)
