28/02/2026: The hotel is very nice, the service is good, but there are very few staff members. The restaurant food isn't that great, but the employees are very friendly. Don't even think about using the electric car charging station at the entrance. They charged us 25 euros and we only tried to charge for a minute. We don't know if they offer refunds. It's not the fault of the Hotel E Totem. The woman who answered the phone washed her hands and said we had to send an email. The other chargers at the hotel work perfectly.

10/12/2025: The table was right next to the kitchen entrance, which wasn't ideal. The meal was very good, the beef steak very tender and cooked to perfection. The homemade fries, cooked in beef fat, were deliciously crispy. The servers were excellent, both in terms of service and wine recommendations—well done! The prices for the dishes are very reasonable, and the wine prices are fair. At the bar, we had five Williams pears at the end. €90 is extremely expensive! We think €12 is a reasonable price, but €18 is practically highway robbery.

30/11/2025: Excellent lunch! The chef's cuisine is truly delicious: the pot-au-feu was perfectly executed, with melt-in-your-mouth meat and richly flavored mayonnaise. The wine recommendation was also spot-on. A special mention to the thoughtful staff who provided gluten-free bread. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!

15/02/2026: A very pleasant evening shared this Friday, with various platters and wines at reasonable prices… The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. I recommend it.

06/12/2025: Although the place was closed for the whole month of December(!) the restaurant was still taking online bookings through The Fork. When we arrived and realised there wasn’t any chairs nor tables we knew something was badly wrong. A lady came out of the kitchen, barely apologetic, and told us to go and check elsewhere for dinner. She didn’t seem phased to know I had submitted my credit card details to secure a ghost reservation. Completely and utter waste of our time. Chefs-led operations might be the promise of good food but this is called the HOSPITALITY industry for a reason. That’s what happens, unfortunately, when businesses don’t put their customers at the centre of their strategy.

05/10/2025: One of the best and most creative menus we've ever eaten. Very unusual with extraordinary combinations. French cuisine refined by a top Japanese chef. I don't understand why he hasn't received a star from the Michelin Guide yet. Cuisine of the highest caliber.

26/03/2026: Amazing venue in an old abbey. Little tricky if you have mobility issues. Our suite was incredible with fabulous shower, great living room, comfy bed. We also had access to a courtyard with tables Breakfast was great with omelets croissants and baguette. Lovely people. Location is within 4 to 10 minutes of the sites and several fabulous restaurants Highly recommend!

28/02/2026: The hotel is well located. Reaching the 3rd floor is a bit of a climb (especially after a fall and a knee injury in the afternoon). The room is small but comfortable and fits perfectly with the hotel's theme. The breakfast served under the vaulted ceilings of the cellar was excellent. Special mention to the receptionist on Thursday, February 26th, in the afternoon/evening. Extremely professional and very friendly. Thank you again.

13/03/2026: Good value for money. We'd like to see a well-prepared starter, main course, and dessert menu for 18.50 more often!

27/02/2026: Here's a little gem of a place to remember. The food is delicious, the ingredients are fresh. I highly recommend it. Especially for its meats. I had the andouillette sausage with mustard sauce—it was divine. And to top it all off, we received a very warm welcome.

25/03/2026: Not the coffee shop of the century, but it's open between 6:30 and 7:00 AM. The service is friendly. The establishment was even open on January 1st! This place, which offers great service no matter the day of the week, is worth a visit. And it deserves 5 stars for the service it provides to us, the customers. 🫶

21/02/2026: A wonderful discovery. We'll stop here before returning to Belgium. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The room was clean and lovely. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant... Excellent wines, top-notch service, and the food was absolutely delicious from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend this establishment. Don't hesitate to try the Burgundy wines, especially the Pommard, or the more affordable Mercurey. A truly wonderful discovery. Aurélie B.

28/03/2026: Fantastic experience at Bistro des Halles Baltard! The quiche was excellent, perfectly moist and delicious. The coffee was very good, fragrant, and served just right. The staff were very helpful, welcoming, and attentive. A place I highly recommend; I'll definitely be back! 5 stars.
