10/05/2026: Just steps from the center, a meal in this large vaulted cellar is a delightful experience. The Burgundian dishes are delicious, the staff charming, and the service impeccable. There's a good selection of wines by the glass across all price ranges.

01/06/2026: We congratulated the waitresses on site because the entire service was excellent. It's so nice not to have to ask for water or bread, or wait ages between courses. Everything was a pleasure from beginning to end. We highly recommend it because all our dishes were excellent: Burgundy salad, eggs meurette, beef bourguignon, duck breast, tiramisu, and gourmet coffee. We were delighted to have spent such a pleasant Mother's Day at this restaurant.

31/05/2026: We truly enjoyed our dinner here last night. We ate at a much inferior bistro the night before and just wanted a simple salad and some not too heavy main dish. We shared a tomato salad and a pizza, and both were delicious and hit the spot. Despite a busy night we had great service from very dried helpful staff. Very reasonable. Thank you! Try Brasserie Le Carnot first when in Beaune!

We enjoyed the stunning architecture and atmosphere of the historical abbey while enjoying the modern comforts offered by the hotel. The location is excellent, tucked right into the heart of Beaune, making it easy to explore the town on foot. Our room was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, blending historic charm with the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The service was warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The team was helpful and accommodating, making everything feel easy from arrival to departure. If you’re looking for a place that adds a unique and memorable dimension to your time in Beaune this hotel is a solid choice.

26/03/2026: Amazing venue in an old abbey. Little tricky if you have mobility issues. Our suite was incredible with fabulous shower, great living room, comfy bed. We also had access to a courtyard with tables Breakfast was great with omelets croissants and baguette. Lovely people. Location is within 4 to 10 minutes of the sites and several fabulous restaurants Highly recommend!

24/05/2026: We had booked for 11 people several weeks in advance (we're not from Beaune and were there for a stag/hen party). Upon arrival, we discovered a sign indicating exceptional closure. Not a problem in itself, but we hadn't been informed beforehand.

16/05/2026: Because our hotel is nearby, we've been here quite often in recent years and were prepared for relatively high prices. That's quite common in Beaune. However, today it was so outrageous that we've decided never to return. It took ten minutes just to place our order at the bar, where we were practically ignored. During that time, guests sitting at the bar were, of course, immediately served freshly poured beers upon request. Then the waiter came and brought the drinks to our table: red wine in a dirty glass and beer. After we complained, the wine was poured from the dirty glass into a half-dirty glass covered in limescale from the dishwasher. Then came the bill: €41 for two half-liter beers and two red wines. After an irritated inquiry, the price was reduced to €36 because they had charged us for the more expensive wine without asking! The meager amount of wine served was already €12 expensive, and the €15 charged was simply exorbitant. Never again!

03/05/2026: Excellent experience! We were returning from the south to Belgium and this stopover was perfect. Comfortable room, very good bedding, and very welcoming hotel service. We will probably return for a long weekend with wine tasting in the region 🍷

24/05/2026: I was really surprised by the way my reservation was handled by the staff: we reserved a table on the restaurant website (20 min before the expected time) and even with a confirmation we were told by the staff they didn’t managed the online reservations and that they couldn’t give us a table. It is really surprising as they sent an sms confirmation. I have decided to leave this review in english and not french to basicaly allow tourists to be aware that they may not get a table even if they reserve. In a connected world with AI I can’t accept that a restaurant is not able to control the system they run. Surely they gave our table to someone else. The way the staff told us off was not professional either.

15/05/2026: A confirmed booking and then the restaurant is closed for renovation. An absolut no go.

06/12/2025: Although the place was closed for the whole month of December(!) the restaurant was still taking online bookings through The Fork. When we arrived and realised there wasn’t any chairs nor tables we knew something was badly wrong. A lady came out of the kitchen, barely apologetic, and told us to go and check elsewhere for dinner. She didn’t seem phased to know I had submitted my credit card details to secure a ghost reservation. Completely and utter waste of our time. Chefs-led operations might be the promise of good food but this is called the HOSPITALITY industry for a reason. That’s what happens, unfortunately, when businesses don’t put their customers at the centre of their strategy.

25/04/2026: A huge disappointment! The prestige of fine dining has gone the way of politeness. For me, everything was fine, but far too expensive for the poor quality of the dishes served in a frosty atmosphere. I highly recommend other establishments, such as Le Caveaux des Arches, which offers a similar wine cellar and a lovely regional menu. Regarding this meal: The beef cheek was far too tough (personally, I couldn't eat it). The eggs meurette with Époisses cheese and fries were simply sickening... so much fat, it was just awful. The cream was cooked incorrectly, which is a shame for a classic dish. I had lots of little bubbles in my cream with water at the bottom. And the wines by the glass add to the already excessive bill for this quality. Marrange at €13.50. Yes, everything has a price, but for me, yours are too high considering your service, even for Beaune.
