21/09/2026: We were expecting something different somehow 😢 The food was okay, very hearty and heavy. The appetizer with various vegetables and goat cheese cream tasted good, but unfortunately it was much too cold in the center, while the main course with meat was only lukewarm. A shame.

17/08/2026: 10/10! We had a wonderful meal. The servers were very pleasant. The sommelier was knowledgeable. The dishes on the menu were perfectly executed! As for the atmosphere, the restaurant isn't very large but it's very quiet. Thank you for this experience.

25/09/2026: If in Beaune eat here first. Then explore other restaurants. The anticipation is built by walking down a wonderful cobbled street. The welcome was warm and friendly. My wife and I shared our meals. We had the crispy caramelized onion tart with anchovy to start. The pasty flaked beautifully with a wonderful bite. For mains we had lamb shoulder, cooked long and slow but with a cracking skin. Slight spice. Jus you want to dip your bread into. Creamed mash with gravy as a side. Divine. Trust the sommelier to select the wine, he made excellent choices for local reds that matched perfectly. The chocolate tart for desert was decadent. We chose to sit at the bar with the delightful Chef. So we saw our food prepped as well as others, everything looked amazing. If it is possible to feel food envy while full and happy we did.

16/09/2026: For starters, we ordered shrimp (crevettes) and meat pâté (pâté en croûte). Divine! For the main course, we ordered pigeon (Le pigeon) and stuffed vegetables. The pigeon was roasted to perfection and the vegetables were a delightful surprise. Everything paired very well with the wine of the evening: Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2023.

07/09/2026: When I walked in - for some reason the man told me "Full" even though they were almost empty and I saw a couple just wondering in. And he was not nice about it either. I was very confused and unhappy. Went to Le Béléna instead, enjoyed it.

The 64-degree egg, the 48-hour cooked pork belly, and, to finish, the chocolate-poached pear ice cream… A true delight! Masterful cooking techniques, refined combinations, and cuisine that knows how to surprise while remaining perfectly balanced. The wine list is well-curated, offering a wide selection. The service is a reflection of the cuisine: the young woman who manages the dining room is very friendly, professional, and attentive, striking the perfect balance between quality, conviviality, and discretion. She's never overbearing, but always with a smile and great care. Bravo to the chef and his entire team for this magnificent work! An address we recommend without hesitation and where we will be delighted to return. Thank you for this wonderful evening and this delicious culinary journey!

25/06/2026: We LOVED this wine bar. Wine and food selection was incredible and the atmosphere was amazing. Great air conditioning during a heatwave as well!

19/05/2026: We visited the brasserie. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We sat and ate in the vaulted cellar (presumably the former wine cellar). It was very quiet and secluded from the general hustle and bustle. Very romantic. The service was very friendly, and the concise menu was sufficient to find a suitable dish. The wine recommendation was a perfect match for the meal, and everything was delicious. The brasserie is highly recommended.

18/09/2026: Everything was just amazing. From the moment we started our visit to the end, host and her daughter were great. They was so friendly and talked through the history of the place and explained the food items etc. we will definitely visit them again.

10/10/2026: I rarely write reviews like this, but I have to make an exception here. I am over 60 now and have eaten quite a few steaks in various countries around the world. The experience at this restaurant was a bitter disappointment—bordering on a joke. The waiter didn't even know what a Porterhouse, T-bone, or flank steak was. The *côte de bœuf* sold as "6-week dry-aged" had never been dry-aged; it was completely charred in two spots and cooked unevenly—ranging from well-done to *bleu*. The taste—supposedly Charolais from the region—was slightly sweet, bland, and lacking in body. On top of that, they tried to foist sauces on us but didn't have a pepper mill. And the "vegetable of the day" was completely overcooked Savoy cabbage. The food was slammed down without a word; smiling was apparently forbidden. It was nothing but an overpriced affront, served with an air of smug arrogance.

31/01/2026: Our must-stop when heading south from Paris! ❤️ A place we never miss on this route. We ordered the roast chicken and it was absolutely delicious: incredibly flavorful poultry, perfectly crispy skin, juicy and tender meat. The portion was incredibly generous; we were two big eaters and we couldn't finish it all, that's how good it was! The small roasted potatoes with garlic and parsley that came with it were a treat in themselves. The service was top-notch: the staff was really friendly, smiling, and full of helpful advice. They gave us tons of great tips for our weekend in the region, which was so appreciated and really made a difference. In short, generous, authentic, and comforting cuisine in a warm atmosphere. We highly recommend it and we already know we'll be back every time we head south!

06/10/2026: Very good and tasty food. The quality was as expected good. Typacal Burgundy good. Amazing wine menu. Top address to have good food and wine in Beaune. The prices are fair. I would highly recommend you to make a reservation as it was super busy and packed.

23/08/2026: We were received by the hotel with a very kind and warm Joaquin. It was a one night pit stop in Beaune, carrying on to Calais the next morning. The rooms were clean and the service was pleasant. The bathroom was also clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable which is what you want after driving for 6 hours! We will definitely be staying in Le Central Boutique again as we like Beaune due to its rich heritage in wine and beautiful location.

18/07/2026: We stayed here two nights to escape our unbearably hot Airbnb - and the air-conditioned room made it totally worthwhile! Huge thanks to the manager who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Le Central is ideally located in the historic centre, moments from fantastic restaurants and bars. We'd gladly stay again - and not just for the AC!
