22/05/2025: A surprising bar where a friendly waiter prepares you a fragrant and pleasant planter's punch and where 3 days later another waiter claims not to know how to make it... while admitting that he has rum and fruit juices... "but it's not on the menu"!!! Astounding and borderline polite. Ciao!
26/04/2025: Very professional and friendly waitress but terrible waiter and should work at the prison gate I understand the lack of people since Kilkenny which was armored every week you have to get your act together!

16/03/2026: I visited BHV for breakfast and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and there was absolutely no wait for a table. For the quality and central location, their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for a smooth and pleasant start to your morning.
16/03/2026: I simply stopped by BHV Dijon for a drink and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service.
A big thank you to Éloi, who gave me excellent advice. He took the time to explain things to me and recommend something that perfectly matched my tastes. It's truly wonderful to encounter someone so friendly, professional, and passionate.
Even for just a drink, you feel very welcome and well taken care of. I'll definitely be back!

14/03/2026: We had come to have a nice time with colleagues. Barely had we arrived when they opened when the waitress took it upon herself to say "that's enough," implying that it was already too crowded. The welcome was icy and unfriendly. She asked us to come back in 10 minutes because our food wasn't ready. A very unpleasant experience from the start; I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

08/03/2026: Since the takeover, it's been a complete mess. There's a bouncer stationed near the toilets... literally a sicko! Harassment when we go to the toilet, impossible to accompany friends, the family car service has become a real industry of haggling and taking advantage of people. Me and all my friends will never go back.
01/02/2026: I went to Smart and I'm still wondering if I was alive or just in a bad dream with music playing in the background. The entrance felt like a secret passage to a parallel world… but not the cool kind: the kind where you regret your choices.
Inside, the air was a cocktail of old sweat and questionable perfume. The lights flickered with the precision of an electrical malfunction, making you feel like your brain was about to short-circuit. The floor felt sticky as if everyone had decided to leave their past behind, literally. The DJ? I think he was trying, but his music sounded like a mix between a broken fan and a cat screaming in a bucket. The people… people were moving, but not really. More like puppets forgotten by their puppeteer. The cocktails were chemical experiments: not bad, not good, just… suspicious. The bar seemed to have a life of its own; the bartenders were smiling, but their eyes were saying, “You shouldn’t have come here.” The toilets were a labyrinth where time stood still and the smell followed you even outside.
I left wondering if I'd simply attended a party or survived a post-apocalyptic art installation.
The Smart: where the night hits you, but not in a good way.

20/09/2024: L'accueil et le service sont de qualité. Par contre, il ne faut pas être trop exigeant sur la qualité de ce qui est proposé. Je pense notamment au carré de porc pas assez cuit et sec. Par contre la joue de boeuf est acceptable. Nous n'avons pas aimé la salle de restaurant qui ressemble à un hall de gare.
16/09/2024: Nous avons passé une soirée fantastique au restaurant DZ' envies. Le menu est varié, avec des plats délicieux qui allient fraîcheur et créativité. Le service était impeccable, avec un personnel attentif et chaleureux. L’ambiance est à la fois élégante et conviviale. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité offerte. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.

21/12/2023: Agréablement surpris par le chou-fleur en entrée et le burger raclette/Morteau est fameux, j'insiste. Seules les frites me sont restées sur l'estomac je pense... Très bonne adresse, à recommander.

19/01/2025: We had high expectation of a hotel colocated with the best restaurant in town, 2-star Michelin. Big disappointment! The front desk staff was beyond rude. Frommer's guide subtly mentioned that "staff can be gruff"; it's worse. Paid over US$200 (breakfast and parking extra) per night for a minuscule room and a clogged bathtub. The separate toilet room, a gem! When sitting down your knees could easily touch the wall in front. The bathtub was clogged; the caulking cracked and discolored. The attached pictures show the view from our room. A decrepit building in utter disrepair! What a shame!
05/01/2025: I stayed for 1 night with my family on our way to French Alps. We booked 2 rooms: Junior Suite and a Privilege room. We are a large family with 4 kids. We ended up paying EUR 600 for 2 rooms! This is excluding breakfast!!! The Junior Suite had a small foldable sofa, which once unfolded blocks the way to the toilet. Both rooms were quite small. We had our rooms on the 3rd floor. You had to take a lift to 2nd floor first, then take the stairs, then a long corridor. They also charged extra for a small foldable bed for a small kid. Resume: more like a 3*** hotel, not a 4. Way overpriced (for comparison I paid almost 1/2 for 2 great rooms at Melia Luxembourg). The only nice thing about this hotel is location.

09/11/2024: We were very disappointed with this experience. Most dishes are just defrosted, apart from the eggs from the floating island..., the same goes for desserts.
The frog legs are not bad but unavailability on certain dishes. If Promocash does not supply the product, the dish will be unavailable, that's a shame!
The manager, under the guise of an atypical character, allows herself derogatory remarks.
Prices are excessively expensive, including for children. We had a pastime guide and the reduction made was not as advertised (5% instead of 30%)

- 1 poached egg with Epoisse sauce for children: 10€50
- 1 portion of frozen fries: €4

28/08/2024: Eerst werden we straal genegeerd, daarna moesten we ons verplaatsen terwijl er ruimte zat was. Nog nooit zo onbeleefd behandeld geweest en begrijpen niet waarom. We spreken nochtans vlot de taal . Het plankje hebben we dan maar niet besteld.
22/08/2024: Wij hebben hier degelijk gegeten, maar vooral snel. Binnen de 10 minuten was ons eten er, maar niet alles was juist. Wel een vriendelijke ober, die het direct recht heeft gezet

13/08/2024: I have no experience to share, twice I show up in pairs, twice I am told that it is not possible to have lunch when I see several empty tables. I'm wondering about these refusals, maybe we don't fit in with the desired clientele....it's not very serious, it allowed us to discover the seasonal restaurant just a stone's throw away, without reservation, with very good, innovative cuisine. They have no shortage of quality addresses in Dijon that don't play it safe...

23/12/2023: C'est toujours un plaisir de venir au central service au guéridon pour les rognons de veau, la sole meunière et les crêpes Suzette. Nous nous sommes régalé entre amis, un service en salle vraiment super, des règles de préséance respectees. Bravo pour ce travail.
