17/09/2026: The wait was interminable; the waiter wanted to do everything himself, both inside and on the terrace, cutting bread and taking payments. As a result, the young woman in charge of drinks didn't know what to do with her free time. However, the food was very good. You need to review your service organization; working people can't wait.

17/09/2026: We went to this restaurant by chance because all the others around were full, and we left feeling unsatisfied. We found the quality/quantity/price ratio completely unjustifiable for what we ate. First of all, we were seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned or prepared. That said, the service was quick and the waiter was friendly. It wasn't tasty or filling. We didn't eat well, but perhaps that's because vegetarians weren't considered, and we assumed they don't eat much since even the bread was rationed... But don't rely on a subjective experience; see for yourself and try it if you eat meat ;)

08/09/2026: This restaurant has a lovely rustic decor, but it doesn't reflect French cuisine at all. The ribeye steak was far too salty, like eating a spoonful of salt directly. The steak tartare was inedible, and the Burgundy snails were frozen—unbelievable, especially in this region. Not to mention we waited over an hour for our main course, only to leave without eating. Avoid at all costs.

25/07/2026: While wandering the streets of Dijon, we took a small alley and stumbled upon a café, a lovely, quiet and typical place.

10/09/2026: So it's nice to have a choice between two dishes… trout or chicken… that's it, no more starters, nothing else… Before serving aperitifs, it would be thoughtful and professional to inform the customer that the restaurant only has two dishes left (including the menu). We were seated, allowed to get and drink our drinks, and when it came time to order, there was nothing left… I appreciate the transparency of some restaurant owners… On the other hand, the food (our only dish, as I don't eat fish, and neither does my mother) was delicious, and the dishes were rich in flavor and color. The waiter was very average, making a comment to my mother, saying she was speaking aggressively. She was more disappointed than aggressive, like all of us, but oh well… I initially wanted to give a bad rating, but I won't. I appreciated the intervention of the owner or manager of this restaurant who came to apologize at the end of the meal, acknowledging the lack of professionalism of the waitstaff.

29/08/2026: We returned to this wonderful restaurant seven years after our first visit, and once again it reminded us exactly why we had remembered it for all these years. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, prepared with care and full of flavour. But the absolute highlight was the frog legs with girolles, served in a creamy sauce with garlic and parsley. Simply outstanding. Rich, delicate and incredibly well balanced, it was one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after dinner is over. And, of course, being in Burgundy, the wine deserves a special mention of its own. The Burgundy wine was absolutely beautiful and complemented the food perfectly. The service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, and the restaurant still has that wonderfully relaxed, intimate, almost home-like French atmosphere that we remembered from our first visit. Seven years may have passed, but the pleasure of being here was exactly the same. Perhaps even better. A truly memorable evening, wonderful French cooking, beautiful Burgundy wine and genuine hospitality. We certainly won’t wait another seven years before coming back!

04/09/2026: It's beautiful, it's delicious, just let yourself be guided and savor it. The water, wine, and coffee are surprisingly affordable; there's no reason to miss out... a true gem.

19/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at La Dame d’Aquitaine! The setting is exceptional, with the dining room located in a crypt, which adds a touch of charm to the meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine: local specialties revisited with a modern, gourmet twist. The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend!

21/08/2026: Cyclists, beware! This has nothing to do with the food: it's the "Le P'tit Bouchon Dijonnais" food truck that's causing the problem. Its driver squeals his tires at roundabouts to clearly demonstrate that he's bigger than a bicycle, right-of-way or not. He nearly knocked me over. If the driving is anything like the food, I'll pass. A word to the wise!

12/06/2026: The drinks menu is particularly extensive, with a selection rarely found elsewhere. The food is equally excellent: when you go, you'll eat very well! The atmosphere is also great, and you're always warmly welcomed! I highly recommend it!

06/06/2026: The beer is good and so is the service. I recommend L'Embuscade if you like cider and sweet drinks.

28/08/2026: It hasn't been a restaurant for a while. It's a shop, but primarily a bar and tea room. I'm giving it stars for the kindness of the owners and the waiter, and for the inner courtyard which serves as a terrace, a true haven of peace filled with greenery... A rare find in the city center.
