24/05/2026: Oh dear, the welcome!!! Oh dear, the service… On Sundays it's even worse, it reaches new heights, not even a bag when you leave with several loaves of bread!! Go see what happens at "Le B" or "Le Pain de chez Cibo" and you'll see the difference in service! Furthermore, the baguettes are overcooked and inedible the next morning! Otherwise, the bread and pastries are good too.

14/05/2026: Excellent bakery, just one small drawback: if you want a sandwich, you shouldn't come before 11 am! I think that's a shame for people who want to buy lunch on their way to work or school…

24/08/2026: This is my third visit and I'm very disappointed. Where do I even begin? First of all, it was so cold we could barely sit down. The servers were so arrogant and haughty. I ordered two glasses of champagne and they brought 17 euros per glass, but there weren't even two olives with it. The restaurant was a complete shock. It's a shame. There's nothing to say about the hotel. If you stay at the Mercure Dijon, the breakfast is good and the parking is great. For me, the restaurant is bad publicity for the hotel. I will not stay at that hotel again.

19/04/2026: Great bar under a vaulted ceiling! Inexpensive and local products!!! Possibility to play billiards and darts.

17/08/2026: It doesn't look like much, but the meal is good and simple, at a very reasonable price.

14/08/2026: The food was very good, however the service was very slow.

19/09/2026: The brunette waitress with glasses openly disrespected us and dared to tell us "the customer is not king" after ordering the wrong wine.

12/09/2026: The food was a bit disappointing: the Beetroot, Feta, and Walnut Salad was probably made with cooked supermarket beets; when you eat in a restaurant, you expect locally sourced, home-cooked beets, which was a shame. The Chicken Gaston Gérard was very dry and, to everyone's dismay, lacked Comté cheese. The only vegetarian option was a pasta dish with mushrooms, not bad, but again, you expect better when you eat in a restaurant, especially at that price. Otherwise, the terrace and the service were pleasant.

09/08/2026: The waiter was disrespectful and, under the pretext of keeping tables outside empty for no reason, told us to go inside, even though there were plenty of free tables (I repeat) and we obviously wanted to order food and drinks. His judgment was hasty. But the place itself is magnificent.

06/08/2026: Cozy and nice place, really delicious dishes... However, the welcome is cold, "café" style, efficient certainly, but not very friendly.

01/05/2026: I just picked the date randomly because, frankly, I've known and frequented this bar for so long, formerly Pont Neuf, because of its lovely terrace... one of the few in Besançon. When I was still working, I often had my coffee there early in the morning before work. The owners, Dominic and Claire, work very hard and have done so for years, so a little kindness and respect for them would be appreciated. I go back as soon as my health allows, due to some health issues. The service is always top-notch, and the establishment has always been impeccably clean. And a new addition to help them out, Karine, a ray of sunshine and positivity. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish them a well-deserved holiday at the end of this week. I'll be there whenever I can. Thanks to Dominique and Claire, supported by Karine.

18/02/2026: The waiter was extremely unpleasant, completely tactless, and very rude. Change jobs, sir!
