22/09/2025: This slightly out-of-the-way restaurant is a wonderful find, nestled in the hills above Besançon, in a beautiful 18th-century building. The rainy weather prevented us from trying the terrace, but the dining room is very pleasant with its lovely fireplace. The dishes are very tasty, homemade with local produce and served generously. The fries are delicious. A good selection of wines at reasonable prices.

30/12/2025: Following my visit to your place with my friends the night before last, we had diarrhea the next day.

05/12/2025: Never order from there; you'll never get the right order. They don't care about their customers and never answer the phone. Don't expect anything from them, just walk away. The staff is mediocre with no management whatsoever. I shudder to think what the sanitary conditions must be like. RESPONSE: Let me be a little more specific. I called at closing time, so I don't think there were many customers present when the kitchen was being cleaned. I've been to your establishment several times, and I maintain that it's not the cleanest place in Besançon. We ordered simply because we couldn't get out; there's no need to make up excuses. However, what would be truly important is to at least read and follow the orders properly. My wife is allergic to dairy products, so she couldn't eat her meal because one of your employees didn't follow the instructions and prepared the order without taking them into account.

06/12/2025: We organized our end-of-year party for 60 people at Chez Elle et Lui restaurant, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. A professional, friendly, and helpful team managed the evening with remarkable ease. The meal was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere created by Rosy's musical entertainment contributed to a warm and festive occasion. A huge thank you to François, Corinne, and their entire team: their kindness, efficiency, and attention to detail clearly contributed to the success of our event. A place I highly recommend for a private party, a group meal… or simply for a great time!

20/11/2025: Our experience was extremely disappointing and in no way reflects the quality we enjoyed under the previous management. The atmosphere and comfort were unacceptable: The establishment was very cold, and the only source of heat was a small kerosene heater, which made the experience very unpleasant. Serious hygiene and quality issues arose: We were served a carafe of water that was visibly dirty and full of limescale. The cutlery was also dirty. The side dish (potatoes) appeared to be leftovers from the previous day, barely reheated. The service, meanwhile, was oppressive: We were asked if we wanted something to drink as soon as we were seated, while we were still standing. The plates were cleared hastily, even though one of the people at our table hadn't finished their meal. In short, we all felt rushed and pressured. This establishment has unfortunately fallen far short of its former reputation. Absolutely avoid it!

03/02/2026: This hotel is to be avoided! You can tell that the spiel claiming housekeeping is only done upon request isn't there to prevent waste but to protect profit margins... The restaurant is a disaster! The staff struggles with a non-existent organization... Everything leads to problems: a forgotten reservation despite being given a specific time, an hour's wait to be served, and tasteless food... Avoid it at all costs!!! The standard response perfectly reflected my dissatisfaction... To answer your question, you'll never have the opportunity to see us again... Furthermore, our experience at your hotel has shattered our trust in Accor hotel services...

01/02/2026: Hello I stayed at the hotel for four nights for a sporting event. The room was fine, nothing much to say, except that it could use a little freshening up. The weak point is the breakfast! Considering the price, a traditional breakfast is close to 100 francs; it's not great. Half an hour before closing time, there's hardly anything left. The selection is very limited, given the price. For dinner, I can't even understand why they only have one person to do everything. The employee on the evening of January 31st did what they could, but an extra person would have been welcome. We know in advance how busy the hotel is, so we should anticipate this and make sure we have what we need. I think the price is completely out of line with expectations. Since we had some time during the evening service, I took the opportunity to snap a few photos demonstrating that it's time for a bit of a renovation. The filthy carpet (the word is unfortunately appropriate) is completely unacceptable for a hotel costing over €100 a night. Sincerely, PS: Please let the staff know that it's polite to knock before entering!

06/02/2026: Happy hour at 6:00 PM. Service at 5:58 PM, no comment. Full price! The art of business. By the way, a pub is supposed to be welcoming… We'll keep walking!

04/02/2026: One sip of the aperitif and the main course arrives... The meal was lukewarm and undercooked. The mayonnaise and ketchup packets were expired. Personally, I won't be back, nor will I recommend this place.

04/12/2024: Nous étions 12 personnes dans une grande salle vide et froide. Le serveur faisait "chuuut" avec un doigt sur sa bouche car il n'arrivait pas à se concentrer pour prendre la commande de boisson, évidemment comme il n'avait rien noté, 2 boissons manquaient et une était fausse ! Le filet de magret de canard était trop cuit et le tartare de saumon n'avait vraiment rie de spécial. Nous souhaitions nous balader à Besançon après le déjeuner, le serveur nous a orienté vers l'accueil de l'hôtel, qui nous a simplement tendu un plan. Après lui avoir demandé quelques conseils, la personne nous a juste dit "nous sommes ici" !!!!! bref no comment, on a fait que se nourrir plutôt que de passer un bon moment entre amis au restaurant.

29/01/2026: Nice guy, the security guard who touches your chest to supposedly block you because you're a "danger" because you call the fire department for a friend who is very ill and the owner attacks you because she's afraid for the image of her bar.
