21/06/2026: We booked a hen/stag party with dinner and karaoke and had a fantastic time! From the moment we booked by phone, the team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The food was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Special mention also goes to the karaoke atmosphere: the team really knows how to make people feel comfortable and create a convivial ambiance, which allowed the group to fully enjoy themselves. A very welcome touch: our group was running late and we called to let them know. The manager was very understanding and accommodating. Thank you again for your warm welcome and good cheer; we will cherish the memories of this evening!

19/08/2026: Lovely find, clean restaurant, friendly service, good food well priced. Menu de jour for quick service. Extensive menu otherwise, selection of beers and wines, etc.

08/09/2026: Disappointed! The waitresses must have had chapped lips because there wasn't a single smile or kind word, but thankfully the owner redeemed the experience! We strongly advise against the mussels; the onions are raw. As for the portion of fries, at €4, big eaters will go broke ordering so many. The price-quality ratio is disproportionate.

08/08/2026: There were five of us, and due to a staffing issue, we were asked to come back 30 minutes later. We did so and received a very warm welcome. The food was healthy. The prices were a bit high for simple ingredients, but that's the price you pay for good food in the center of Besançon. The Comtois galette is definitely worth the trip.

03/09/2026: Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The food was served nice and hot and tasted homemade. The staff were friendly, although there was a bit of a wait due to how busy the restaurant was, which was understandable. Here’s a summary of their menu. I hope it helps someone decide what to order! 🥩 Meat * Pièce du boucher – Butcher’s cut of beef (around 160 g) served with shallot sauce, baby potatoes and vegetables. Often one of the best choices. * Suprême de poulet – Chicken breast with a traditional Jura Vin Jaune (yellow wine) sauce, baby potatoes and vegetables. A great regional specialty. * Canard rôti – Roasted duck with a honey and rosemary sauce, served with vegetables and baby potatoes. A great choice if you enjoy duck. * Côte de bœuf – A large 400 g bone-in rib steak served with salad and baby potatoes. Perfect if you have a big appetite. 🐟 Fish * Saint-Jacques à la plancha – Pan-seared scallops with chorizo cream, vegetables and baby potatoes. The most refined dish on the menu. * Poisson du moment – Fresh fish of the day served with vegetables and baby potatoes. 🥗 Lighter options * Salade océane – Salmon served with salad and fresh vegetables. * Salade comtoise – A traditional Franche-Comté salad with Morteau smoked sausage, bacon, Comté cheese, walnuts and fresh vegetables.

30/08/2026: Great hotel for a road trip stop! We stayed here for a night during our trip and were really impressed by the bright and unique design featuring cool industrial gear patterns on the walls. The vibrant green sink and sleek shower design added a fun, modern touch to the stay. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were absolutely spotless. The bed was large and cozy with fresh linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good. While the selection was on the smaller side, it had everything you need — cheese, cold cuts, eggs, yogurts (including vegan options), and, of course, delicious coffee to start the day. The hotel provides free parking, and finding a spot was completely problem-free in the night. It is a huge plus that they welcome pets with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

15/06/2026: I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The young staff, Justine and Florian, as well as Ramage, the hotel's intern, were very welcoming to me every evening. But I have absolutely nothing to say about the rest of the team, whose names I don't know, but they were all very kind and helpful. See you soon! 🤗

28/08/2026: Go and try some delicious cakes at BAUD! That's what a friend told me when I asked her for a good place to find pastries in Besançon. She was absolutely right, and I'm very grateful for this excellent recommendation. You absolutely must try their "Castel" cake! That said, don't get me wrong: all their cakes looked very tempting.

11/08/2026: Excellent products and very welcoming staff. However, one woman in particular needs to retire, especially given how rude she is to her own employees… This approach needs to be reviewed immediately as it completely undermines the luxury and prestige of the establishment… Sincerely,

25/06/2026: The service was excellent, the young waiter superb, the drink quality was terrible. They'd be better off investing in good beer than this swill, and the wrap was hairless—I've never seen anything like it. Honestly, you can taste the Boursin cheese more than the chicken, and a quarter of a lettuce leaf leaves you starving. I don't recommend it.

08/04/2026: I just had a Serrano ham, goat cheese, pesto, and sundried tomato sandwich. Excellent! It's €5.90, but the bread is fresh and delicious, and the filling is too, so I prefer to pay a little more than at a bakery where the sandwiches are practically empty, just bread. I recommend this place if you want quality food quickly and to feel satisfied.
