09/11/2025: The waiter was very friendly. The restaurant's interior decor isn't what you'd expect from the outside, and it's a shame the food doesn't live up to it... Based on the reviews, I wasn't expecting much, but I won't be going back. Nothing special... Bland. I ordered a burger, and for €1 more I got it with bacon, which they'd forgotten to include. They brought it to me on a tiny plate... one slice, yay! 😅 They shouldn't have forgotten it, especially 🫣😅 There were four of us, and we all agreed, nobody enjoyed it... It's edible, that's all... Nothing more...

08/05/2026: We are cyclists, and I stopped to ask for my water bottle to be refilled. The bar manager simply brushed me off, telling me there was no obligation to refill a water bottle. I must emphasize that I was very polite and courteous, so the bar owner's behavior was, in my opinion, completely inappropriate. If you're an athlete, I recommend boycotting this establishment.

15/05/2026: What has happened in a year at this Novotel? The staff has changed, that's for sure. The vast majority no longer know how to be polite with a simple hello and a pleasant smile... they prefer to be on the reception computer and/or scrolling on their phones! You have to come by car, and be aware there's no shuttle or public transport nearby. Only the thirty-something receptionist in a suit in the afternoon, the night porter, and one of the bartenders/breakfast team members know how to greet guests, be courteous, and efficient! Accor Hotels rewards loyalty with an upgrade, but they don't seem to know how to count the correct number of nights... We waited for cutlery, plates, and bowls for breakfast from 9:20 am for more than 10 minutes. And let's not forget the chipped plates—not at all what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel... The coffee is good, but you'd expect more variety in the selection for a 4-star Novotel. The room is spacious and clean, but could use some lighting and updated decor... as well as tissues. The bedding is not very firm, and the balcony needs a thorough cleaning and maintenance. On the plus side, there's a separate toilet and clean floors without carpeting. Beware of a decline in service! Review from April 2025: Very good, renovated Novotel in a quiet location. Spacious room, perfect bedding, and attentive staff.

17/05/2026: My partner and I were just passing through. Don't be put off by the rather drab storefront; the products are quite good quality, and the service is quick. The staff are welcoming and friendly. It's good value for money.

17/05/2026: The food is really good. The service is fast. The staff is young, very helpful, and friendly! The exterior of the building isn't very inviting, but the inside is cute! I recommend it!

06/05/2026: I went there a few times last summer: - Some tees are on hard ground, poorly maintained. Those on grass, on the other hand, must never have been aerated or anything because they're like concrete; I have to try ten times before finding a spot where my tee will even vaguely sink in, after forcing it like crazy (I've even broken tees that way). - The fairways were cow pastures, with a mix of clumps of grass and bare, completely dry earth. - The greens were very unhealthy, and clearly, the ball had to go off-road to reach the hole...not easy to putt in those conditions. - There were LOTS of animal droppings that were very dry/white, a sign that they weren't fresh... - The water hazards gave off a strong, very pleasant, mud-like smell... I chalked it up to the summer weather. It's difficult to maintain a golf course in the summer. So I went back a few days ago, at the end of April, in the spring, when everything should be perfect and green... well, it's exactly the same story! The tees are still as hard as concrete, the fairways still look like a meadow, the greens have improved a little but are still diseased (and this time, very poorly mowed!), there's still dried dog poop everywhere... You can also see that the edges of the holes are damaged and that grass has grown back on one side, which again doesn't reflect much care for the course... When I read the comments, I see that the owner explains that it's not easy to maintain this golf course because it's very clayey. Well, first of all, all golf courses are relatively clayey, since clay forms from the erosion of the sand they use to maintain the grass. Okay, fine, let's face it, nature is what it is, and we don't always get the weather we want. ... But then, how do you justify all this decomposing animal waste? It means not only that the gardeners don't remove it, but also that they don't mow often enough, otherwise the mower blades would grind it into fine particles. Now, if we're talking about the course layout itself... meh! The par 4s and par 5s are all pretty much the same, and the par 3s are rather bland. Nevertheless, it might appeal to some, for example, beginners playing their first round of golf, who will therefore be happy not to encounter any major challenges or traps of any kind. In short: this golf course is very poorly maintained, whatever the owner says. If it weren't so expensive, it would be acceptable, but at €60 (on their booking system, after the discount), it's really poor value for money and enjoyment. So, I hope this review will help golfers who have never been, so they can better judge whether this golf course meets their expectations or not.

21/05/2026: I'll start with the positives: Good cocktails/nice and clean decor/fast service ON THE OTHER HAND: THE FOOD WAS REALLY NOT GREAT. The pasta had no flavor, and especially the meat. I asked for it well-done...it was served to me burnt to the point that I really couldn't eat it. They sell a dream with the fries: nice and crispy, so you expect homemade fries, but no...and it wasn't mentioned (my mistake). The person serving you doesn't even ask if everything was alright...you're the one who has to say the meat is burnt...nothing is done for a plate that, in the end, couldn't be eaten except for the fries because I was really hungry. It's a shame because I had been there once before and I thought the food was good. One day, no problem, it can happen, but the follow-up/response makes all the difference.

19/05/2026: The restaurant business is a profession... quality of service is a priority... between repeated checks to see if we've finished our meals or listening to waitresses arguing in front of everyone, especially when one refuses to admit she's wrong... (yes, Madam, your colleague was right when she tried to explain that a bottle of wine should be tasted by the customer because it could be corked...) Madam, the restaurant business isn't for you, make way for the younger generation!
