13/06/2026: We stumbled upon Brocéliande for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. The place is cozy, warm, and truly delightful. The service was attentive, and the waitstaff were incredibly kind. As for the food, everything was excellent, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert. A fantastic discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend. You can go without hesitation!

21/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at L'Estocade. The setting, on the banks of the Eure River, is particularly idyllic and pleasant, ideal for enjoying a peaceful moment. The staff is welcoming, smiling, and very attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. One small point to note: contrary to what I had gathered from my online research, there is no set menu. Starters, main courses, and desserts are all à la carte and charged separately. As for the food, the dishes served were very good and well-prepared. The only slight drawback was that the side dishes could have been a little more generous. On the other hand, the desserts were delicious and particularly substantial, an excellent way to end the meal. Overall, a very good restaurant in an enchanting setting, with quality cuisine and very pleasant service, despite the lack of a set menu and the somewhat small portions of side dishes.

19/06/2026: A very warm welcome with a smile. A wide selection of Chartres wines and the chef's suggestions were very interesting. Fresh produce from local producers. The amber beer from the Eurelienne brewery was excellent, and the lychee and grapefruit lemonade from the area was also delicious. From aperitif to dessert, everything was perfect. The meat was cooked to perfection. The fish (swordfish) was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.

03/06/2026: What a shame, the service was excellent, the waiters and the terrace setting very cozy without being ostentatious. The dishes, however, lacked seasoning. They were far too bland and completely devoid of character. A bit of a disappointment considering the price.

26/06/2026: Standard cuisine, lacking inventiveness or distinction. Dishes are adequately cooked, nothing more, just average fare at the price of a good restaurant. I have no desire to spend nearly €50 per person to find on my plate what you can get in any brasserie for half the price.

The duck breast was succulent and perfectly cooked, not to mention the dessert, which is transformed into a work of art thanks to the warm chocolate/caramel sauce 😋 Thank you to the servers for their professionalism and friendliness 🙂

18/05/2026: The setting is pleasant and the place is nice, but the overall experience was somewhat mixed. The prices seemed rather high for what was offered. Special mention, however, goes to the atmosphere, even if the servers' humor was sometimes a bit heavy-handed for our taste.
