21/03/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We dined at L’Estocade almost by chance, and what a delightful surprise it was. The restaurant is a beautiful house with a warm and elegant décor, where you immediately feel at ease. The welcome was particularly pleasant, and the staff, both attentive and helpful, provided highly professional service. The cuisine is refined, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the dishes served piping hot on warm plates—a detail that has become rare, but one that makes all the difference and deserves to be highlighted. We had a wonderful evening and will gladly return as soon as the opportunity arises.

24/03/2026: 5 stars! A super warm welcome, professional yet unpretentious service, and a cozy atmosphere like hanging out with friends. The Wi-Fi was a bit glitchy, and 5G was on standby (no big deal). The new menu is definitely worth trying. I had the dish of the day, and the peach was absolutely amazing; you can taste the love in every bite. And the dessert… the passion fruit religieuse, my current obsession—incredible cream, perfectly balanced. See you soon! 😊

10/03/2026: Having come with my colleagues on Tuesday, February 24th at lunchtime, where we opted for the set menu (starter, main course, and dessert – quite generous), we were planning to order just a main course and dessert this Friday evening, but we were given the same set menu. It's a shame because we struggled to finish our meal. Aside from that, everything was good and the young waiter was pleasant.

24/03/2026: Fourth visit to this crêperie! The name change hasn't affected the quality of the food or the delicious taste of the crêpes. Lunch with family visiting from another region: everyone was delighted with the generous meal! A special mention to the waiter: incredibly friendly. My favorite crêperie in Chartres!

26/01/2026: We came this weekend to celebrate a birthday at this hotel, specifically at the La Cour restaurant, before having a drink at the Le Madrigal bar. The bar has changed a lot: it now offers a beautiful view of the bottles and the bar counter, and the lounge area is very pleasant. The La Cour restaurant, with its glass roof, is bathed in light; this Saturday, the sun was shining, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We enjoyed a delicious Coteaux-du-Layon, as well as a glass of rosé champagne, accompanied by a slice of Chartres pâté. For our main courses, we had an excellent vol-au-vent, followed by scallops served with a smooth purée and a perfectly executed gratin dauphinois. To finish, an absolutely delicious Grand Marnier soufflé, served in a small glass—a very clever touch that allows you to control the amount of Grand Marnier you enjoy. The service was expertly handled by Isabelle, who was kind, friendly, and attentive from beginning to end. She even sang "Happy Birthday" to conclude the occasion, making us feel right at home. We had a wonderful time and were delighted to meet the hotel-restaurant's chef, Georges Thomas Parnaud, with whom we chatted and took a photo. He was very friendly and took the time to share this special birthday moment with us. We will definitely be back very soon. A big thank you to the entire team.

08/03/2026: The waitress was quite nice and pleasant, no complaints about the service. The children's menu was decent. However, the rest of the dishes were a huge disappointment. I ordered a poke bowl that was frankly awful: the mango and avocado were bad, the rice was soggy and tasted like boiled rice… I practically left it all. The €28 ribeye steak was also very disappointing, and the chimichurri sauce that came with it was truly terrible. We usually take pictures of our food in restaurants, but we were so disappointed that we didn't even bother. When the waitress came to clear our table, she asked if everything was alright. I explained that the poke bowl was really bad, but there was no gesture or reaction whatsoever. The owner was right there, he overheard the conversation, and he didn't even come over.
