02/02/2026: We were very disappointed with our stay at the Hotel de la Licorne: - The pool and jacuzzi were cold and had no bubbles, the hammam was not working, and the sauna was cold (no more than 60°C). - The €20 per person breakfast was on par with an Ibis hotel: the omelet-style eggs tasted watery and were overcooked, the cold cuts were mass-produced, and the pastries were probably straight from the freezer. You'd expect to find some decent pastries for that price, but no! - The bistro-restaurant was the only positive aspect of our stay, but we still found the price/quality ratio quite high. - The bedding wasn't very comfortable, and the housekeeping left much to be desired. - We shared our concerns, but no compensation was offered. In short, we absolutely do not recommend this hotel!

13/01/2026: If this hotel is a 4-star, then I'm the Pope. Two light switches didn't work; turning them on and off was complicated, especially at 5:00 PM when it was dark. There was limescale around the faucets, and the shower drain was clogged with hair. The room was never cleaned during our multi-night stay. The spa was included in the reservation, and we would have liked to use it, but the water was less warm than in our local public pool, so we gave up on this little pleasure and, as a reward, my partner caught a cold. All of this was reported to the hotel reception, who told us that the information would be passed on to the maintenance staff, end of story. We wish this hadn't happened. The only positive point was the comfortable bedding. The bistro-style restaurant offered excellent value for money. The gastronomic restaurant was tasty; the food was good. We might return for a nice meal, but we'll forget about the hotel.

21/12/2023: Je n'ai pas du tout aimé l'accueil. On a refusé de prendre ma réservation pour le lendemain car je souhaitais reserver pour une seule personne. Pas rentable pour vous? Et même pas un mot de regret. L'accueil compte, Monsieur, votre cuisine est peut-être bonne, on me l'avait recommandée mais vu comment j'ai été mal reçue je ne reviendrai pas.

16/08/2024: Les plats étaient excellents. Cependant, nous avions une réservation the fork avec une remise de 20% que le le chef de salle a refusé de nous faire. Nous avons demandé à parler au patron, étant absent / on nous a promis son appel que nous attendons toujours !! Une déclaration d’escroquerie et d’abus de consommateur est faite et nous attendons le retour de the Fork. Nous souhaitons vivement qu’ils interviennent auprès de ce restaurant.

27/08/2024: Great discovery!! Gourmet and fine table! One of the best cooks "Cooking fish", meat specialties are present. A lunch menu: excellent value for money €21 starter/main course or main course/dessert, 2 appetizers offered at reception. The chef has maintained his generosity and excellence! Passionate about his profession!

02/09/2024: A very picturesque place, beautiful château that makes you travel in time, beautiful and peaceful park. A unique experience, not to mention a great service and cozy spa area. A kayak trip on the town channels nearby is a must do!

19/07/2024: Restaurant hôtel situé dans un cadre magnifique dans un parc arboré et joliment aménagé. Le bâtiment 1856 est remarquable. L’intérieur a conservé une décoration d’époque. Nous sommes accueillie par le chez de rang qui nous installe dans un petit salon afin de nous servir l’apéritif Puis nous passons à table dans la véranda. Nous avons opter pour les menus belle isle Et l’association des vins Il a quelques détails négligés tel que des toiles d’araignées ici et là Une terrasse non désherbée et jonchée de feuilles mortes L’entrée été très salée Le plat sans grand intérêt gastronomique pour un tel établissement Et le dessert a un glaçage bien trop épais la feuillantine n’est pas croustillante Le personnel très accueillants et aux petits soins Je suis déçu de cette expérience la qualité n’est pas à la hauteur du prix Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant

10/09/2024: Warm and friendly welcome, friendly atmosphere. At my last meal the fish was dry. The dish remained good. I did not enjoy my dessert which seemed, at least, not homemade. I probably had a dessert that didn't suit me.

23/09/2024: Being from the region I knew it was a good address, currently living in Haute-Savoie we made the trip to come and celebrate our daughter's birthday. We were not disappointed, from starter to dessert everything was very good. I think this restaurant is the best address in the Gisors region.
