04/04/2026: The Château-Hôtel de la Rapée is a charming place to stay when visiting Gisors and exploring the Vexin region. We spent one night there and had dinner in the restaurant as a family with our 20-month-old baby. It was a very pleasant stop on our trip. The welcome was very warm, the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding, and the chef's cuisine was a delight. We highly recommend this place!

28/03/2026: A truly beautiful establishment: + A magnificent castle, surrounded by nature and bordering a stud farm. Free on-site parking. Very kind and helpful staff. Excellent soundproofing: we returned late without disturbing anyone. Spacious room with an entrance vestibule and double doors. A wardrobe in the vestibule. The decor is distinctive but suits the setting. The bathroom is small but very well laid out, with everything you need. I particularly appreciated the faucet, which is both beautiful and functional. A tray with a kettle for making coffee or tea. Very comfortable bedding. Good blackout curtains. The breakfast items are very good, and having breakfast in the conservatory on a sunny day while watching the horses being trained is absolutely wonderful. - There is a constant noise of water circulating in the radiator: earplugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise. Breakfast: limited choice considering the price of €16, and I regret that there are no artisanal or local products...

09/08/2026: We had a drink there. The young waiters were very friendly. But the noise from the show-offs on their mopeds was too loud.

17/03/2026: We loved it! Great welcome and they were always on time. The staff was attentive and careful, and there were never any problems with "special" orders. I don't like onions, and they always removed them, a practice we've maintained for several years now. My son loves it too. Homemade nuggets and cheeseburgers are great too. A truly tempting dish!

26/06/2026: The leafy interior terrace is very pretty and romantic. I was a little disappointed by the quality of the meat, which released a lot of water. Otherwise, the service was pleasant.

09/05/2026: The service was far too slow; we waited over an hour for our starters. In total, we spent 2 hours and 15 minutes in the restaurant just to eat a starter and a main course. They didn't offer any discount considering the poor service. It's a shame because the food itself was quite good.

07/05/2026: It was a fantastic stopover on our way to the coast – thank you very much! From the warm welcome on arrival to the excellent dinner in the evening and breakfast the next morning, it was a perfect stay. Very lovely rooms with views of the mill stream and the beautiful garden, an excellent restaurant that even prepared a 7-course vegetarian menu for us, and exceptionally friendly staff who even speak English. The whole place, with its romantic garden, is truly wonderful. We’ll definitely be back.

09/03/2026: A true paradise. The park, crisscrossed by numerous streams, is magnificent. The building is a tastefully restored former watermill, retaining its old-world charm while offering the comfort of a contemporary touch. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and modern. But the best part: the cuisine. It's clear that it's an art form. The inventiveness of the dishes, the subtlety of the proportions and combinations, the beauty of the presentation—everything makes it an exceptional experience. The cuisine is meticulously planned, precise, and structured. Truly masterful. A very welcome addition.

17/09/2026: We came one afternoon. We received a very warm welcome. We were offered a small crepe, a chocolate mousse, and a beer. A small bowl for our little dog was offered to us at the entrance. The price was very reasonable. I recommend it.

31/08/2026: A lovely little restaurant. The galettes were fantastic, and the crêpe for dessert was delicious too. The price was really reasonable – we highly recommend l'Archange.

26/08/2026: This establishment has changed drastically. As a disabled woman with a reservation for 6:30 pm, I stood for 10 minutes in 37-degree heat before finally being seated. Since service didn't begin until 7 pm, we waited until then for someone to deign to come to us. We were completely ignored for 30 minutes in a stifling atmosphere. This appalling and dismal welcome was redeemed by a lovely young waitress.

18/08/2026: A rather mixed experience. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, and the wait was quite long, around 45 minutes between the appetizer and the main course, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. We also noticed that some servers were frequently on their phones, which didn't give a very good impression. As for the food, the presentation was decent overall, but unfortunately lacked flavor. I also found a hair in my dish, which was obviously quite unpleasant. The overall cleanliness also needs improvement. For example, there were a lot of breadcrumbs accumulated between the seat and the back of the chair, giving the impression that the cleaning wasn't done properly between customers. It's a shame, because with more attentive service, better cleanliness, and more refined dishes, the experience could be much better.

30/07/2026: Well, I was a bit surprised. The atmosphere was noisy. Okay, that happens. But the worst part was the fries—I've never seen anything like it, they were burnt to a crisp. A shame, because we spent €43 per person without drinks. Be careful, a little slip-up like this, especially with fries, can really lower the bill. Anyway, a minor mistake that needs to be rectified quickly.

26/08/2026: I will try to be more constructive than negative in order to be helpful. The wait for a simple savory crepe is far too long (1 hour 30 minutes), then the crepes are overcooked and the filling is really bland. The sweet crepe is also bland, too thick, and rubbery. Perhaps the batter should be sweetened? And something added to make them softer... But I'm not a cook! Despite this less than satisfactory experience, you did take some action, and we thank you for that. Best of luck to you in the future!

08/08/2026: The staff were unfriendly, even bordering on unpleasant, with a clear lack of respect for customers. The terrace, advertised as quiet, was actually very small and had very few tables. We sat down, but ultimately decided to leave without eating, as we felt so unwelcome. It's a shame, because the setting could have been lovely.
