08/07/2026: I made the mistake of stopping in the parking lot to get a beer and a shower. I ran into a young man who told me I didn't have the right to stay there if I wasn't going to eat at the restaurant. He then charged me €20 even though I hadn't gone inside. If the €20 is part of the parking fee, it's a huge rip-off, especially since people come and go like crazy, leaving their belongings in the parking lot. He told me I had to leave if I wasn't going to eat at the restaurant. As long as you buy something there, I don't see why you wouldn't have the right to park. I saw in the comments that they pull this stunt on everyone. Be careful, especially since their parking lot isn't secure at all and there have already been thefts at night. It's a place to avoid. Since the change of ownership, it's become chaos. They always find a way to make a profit off truckers; it's always easier.

06/07/2026: I had a good dinner, the service was decent and the restaurant was clean. I would like to point out that the restaurant is not responsible for what customers do, especially when it comes to "professionals" of the road, so a star because of drivers who drink alcohol does not help anyone, besides, they do what they want.

01/06/2026: What a disappointment the food was! The octopus starter was incredibly rubbery, the black rice with lobster bisque was extremely bitter and inedible!! We asked them if they'd tasted it, and they said no, which made them seem offended. The foie gras was just okay, and there wasn't even any special bread to eat it with. And the rhubarb for dessert was undercooked!!! For the price, I absolutely do not recommend it; it was very disappointing :(. Oh, but the cocktails were excellent 😂

28/05/2026: Recently renovated hotel. Attentive staff. The sweet and savory breakfast is very good. Clean room. Spacious and clean bathroom. Perhaps it lacks air conditioning to provide some relief during these recent hot days. Otherwise, nothing to report.

21/05/2026: A very nice hotel, the staff are charming and very accommodating. The room is spacious and clean. A few areas for improvement: offering different types of bread for breakfast and slightly larger portions for dinner would be nice (I ordered the gnocchi, but the portion was more like a starter). 02/05/2026: We've been several times, and this time, for our father's 90th birthday, the restaurant was closed despite a reservation and a cake order. Thank you for this lovely gift, and best of luck for the future, because I don't think I'll ever return to your restaurant.

26/06/2026: The leafy interior terrace is very pretty and romantic. I was a little disappointed by the quality of the meat, which released a lot of water. Otherwise, the service was pleasant.

09/05/2026: The service was far too slow; we waited over an hour for our starters. In total, we spent 2 hours and 15 minutes in the restaurant just to eat a starter and a main course. They didn't offer any discount considering the poor service. It's a shame because the food itself was quite good.

03/07/2026: The restaurant looks nice, the food looks good, however, the staff is very rude. We wanted to sit at a table, but the person serving us insisted we only sit at a specific table. We tried to sit at two separate tables, but they still wouldn't let us sit at that one, even though only about 20% of the tables were occupied. Terrible service! They were yelling at customers! How awful!

04/04/2026: The Château-Hôtel de la Rapée is a charming place to stay when visiting Gisors and exploring the Vexin region. We spent one night there and had dinner in the restaurant as a family with our 20-month-old baby. It was a very pleasant stop on our trip. The welcome was very warm, the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding, and the chef's cuisine was a delight. We highly recommend this place!

28/03/2026: A truly beautiful establishment: + A magnificent castle, surrounded by nature and bordering a stud farm. Free on-site parking. Very kind and helpful staff. Excellent soundproofing: we returned late without disturbing anyone. Spacious room with an entrance vestibule and double doors. A wardrobe in the vestibule. The decor is distinctive but suits the setting. The bathroom is small but very well laid out, with everything you need. I particularly appreciated the faucet, which is both beautiful and functional. A tray with a kettle for making coffee or tea. Very comfortable bedding. Good blackout curtains. The breakfast items are very good, and having breakfast in the conservatory on a sunny day while watching the horses being trained is absolutely wonderful. - There is a constant noise of water circulating in the radiator: earplugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise. Breakfast: limited choice considering the price of €16, and I regret that there are no artisanal or local products...

30/07/2026: Well, I was a bit surprised. The atmosphere was noisy. Okay, that happens. But the worst part was the fries—I've never seen anything like it, they were burnt to a crisp. A shame, because we spent €43 per person without drinks. Be careful, a little slip-up like this, especially with fries, can really lower the bill. Anyway, a minor mistake that needs to be rectified quickly.
