02/04/2026: A magnificent meal! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves meat and good company. Personally, the 1.3 kg ribeye steak was just perfect, nothing to complain about. The cooking was top-notch, the fries were excellent, and if you're still hungry, you can get more fries. I have to say, it was perfect! Thank you to the whole team, whom I greatly appreciate. Always a warm welcome with a smile.

06/03/2026: I'm in Bernay for work and I've been eating there every night for the past two weeks. I love this restaurant, and the staff are so generous and attentive. Don't hesitate, go for it! You'll have the best lunches or evenings ever. Plus, there's a private room afterwards, perfect for spending time with family or friends. It's really lovely, and I'm disappointed it's not where I live! ❤️

01/06/2026: For the price, I find it a bit excessive. Furthermore, there isn't much choice on the menu… We ordered the duck rare, but it was cooked. The menu fell in the wind (we were on the terrace) onto the glass, cracking it. We told the waitress, but she didn't even replace it; she just left with the menu under her arm. I think that for an establishment like this, the service is subpar.

08/06/2026: We ate at this restaurant before heading back to Hauts-de-France and the staff gave us a wonderful welcome! The terrace is magnificent, the setting beautiful with a pond and picnic tables for dining outdoors. The food was excellent, the menu varied, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a very pleasant time. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return as soon as we're back in Fatouville! Thank you again.

01/06/2026: What a disappointment the food was! The octopus starter was incredibly rubbery, the black rice with lobster bisque was extremely bitter and inedible!! We asked them if they'd tasted it, and they said no, which made them seem offended. The foie gras was just okay, and there wasn't even any special bread to eat it with. And the rhubarb for dessert was undercooked!!! For the price, I absolutely do not recommend it; it was very disappointing :(. Oh, but the cocktails were excellent 😂

28/05/2026: Recently renovated hotel. Attentive staff. The sweet and savory breakfast is very good. Clean room. Spacious and clean bathroom. Perhaps it lacks air conditioning to provide some relief during these recent hot days. Otherwise, nothing to report.

A few areas for improvement: offering different types of bread for breakfast and slightly larger portions for dinner would be nice (I ordered the gnocchi, but the portion was more like a starter). 28/05/2026: Be careful with drinks ordered in 33cl bottles. They are served in unmarked glasses, so you can't see the bottles. My husband ordered a 33cl "Duchesse Anne" beer for €6, served in a wine glass! And I ordered a 33cl bottle of Perrier for €3.50, which didn't taste like Perrier at all, but rather like some homemade sparkling drink. During our meal, we made a complaint, which didn't seem to bother the manager (I think). When it came time to pay, we repeated our complaint, and her response was more than astonishing: we should have asked for the bottles! This is the first time we've ever experienced such service in a restaurant. As for the galettes, they were very generous but of average quality. Well, that's it, last time.

18/05/2026: Special thanks to the team who allowed 6 soaking wet cyclists to dine in their restaurant. The mess we made due to the amount of water coming out of our clothes was incredible. The staff were patient, kind and welcoming. The food was delicious too.

04/04/2026: The Château-Hôtel de la Rapée is a charming place to stay when visiting Gisors and exploring the Vexin region. We spent one night there and had dinner in the restaurant as a family with our 20-month-old baby. It was a very pleasant stop on our trip. The welcome was very warm, the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding, and the chef's cuisine was a delight. We highly recommend this place!

28/03/2026: A truly beautiful establishment: + A magnificent castle, surrounded by nature and bordering a stud farm. Free on-site parking. Very kind and helpful staff. Excellent soundproofing: we returned late without disturbing anyone. Spacious room with an entrance vestibule and double doors. A wardrobe in the vestibule. The decor is distinctive but suits the setting. The bathroom is small but very well laid out, with everything you need. I particularly appreciated the faucet, which is both beautiful and functional. A tray with a kettle for making coffee or tea. Very comfortable bedding. Good blackout curtains. The breakfast items are very good, and having breakfast in the conservatory on a sunny day while watching the horses being trained is absolutely wonderful. - There is a constant noise of water circulating in the radiator: earplugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise. Breakfast: limited choice considering the price of €16, and I regret that there are no artisanal or local products...
