08/09/2024: Happy surprise! Very happy discovery! I tasted the mint/cucumber “detox”… etc… Brilliant! As well as "Nordic" pasta... salmon... etc... I had heard that a good pasta dish... beeeeeeen... was good! So it took 60 years for me to taste a good one. It's impossible to reproduce at home because, for example, for juices, they use a kind of "low speed" blender which must cost the price of an essential part of James Bond's car, so... respect ... The staff is very, very, friendly Missing a visit to this bar would mean seriously neglecting your culture. Unforgivable! PS: as a strict heterosexual (borderline fundamentalist, Taliban tendency) I don't feel personally concerned, but the establishment is "gay friendly". In a city that gave so many fascists to France, we had to dare.

03/10/2024: La Grand Mare, recently taken over by new owners, is a superb discovery. The seasonal cuisine prepared in the charcoal oven is tasty and showcases the products perfectly. Whether you are a lover of meat or more refined dishes, the menu will delight you. The setting is warm and friendly, ideal for a good time with friends or family. The welcome is also very pleasant, with attentive staff. An address that I highly recommend!

30/09/2024: If Rome was not built in a day, the current owners of this hotel restaurant resurrected it in two months. In a building that is not lacking in style, the rooms have been almost completely redone, tastefully and using quality materials; a special mention for the quality of the bedding. Certain points can certainly be improved and they are aware of this. However, don't forget to dust off the headboards 👍. Regarding the restaurant which benefits from two superb rooms; you can only be happy to eat there: a short menu guaranteeing "homemade" combining the quality of the products with the know-how of the cooks combined with the "knowledge" of the staff in the dining rooms, it is more than remarkable with such a short operating time and a young team. The numerous presence of a local clientele is the best guarantee of this. Breakfast is the exception that proves the rule: here, no frozen croissants and other anemic pain au chocolat: everything is fresh and plentiful. The icing on the cake, all this for low prices. A word of advice; Travelers don't hesitate for a second to stop there, it's nothing but happiness.

13/09/2024: Arriving just before closing, the employee was still able to make me a little sandwich to take away. Kind and very friendly staff. The setting is very nice. And I highly recommend the banana/chocolate crumble tart.

07/09/2024: Mythical Restaurant in Fleury sur Andelle. Very pleasantly surprised, I thought it was “old” or “outdated”. The atmosphere is calm, good value for money and with local/regional products. The waitress is friendly, accommodating, and gives very good advice. Don’t hesitate to stop there if you’re on the N14.

29/06/2024: Found by chance while walking around Gisors My partner and I returned to this establishment Magnificent discovery, smiling, helpful and very friendly staff ☺ We can even see through a window the person who makes these superb macaroons and chocolates The products are delicious, they are the best macaroons we have eaten 👍 Their tastes are delicious and very balanced, the flavors blend wonderfully 👌 Second time buying from them and it won't be the last ☺ Good luck 💪

12/09/2024: A great meal with great dishes, a very knowledgeable cook, and an experienced, attentive and very friendly waiter. Bad, incomprehensible reviews. Looking at the photos of small portions which suggest that we will leave with a feeling of hunger because we are big eaters, this is not the case! 27/07/2024: We had a wonderful meal at this cozy restaurant in Évreux. We were a family of five and ordered the three-course menu for EUR 32. We were all very happy with the food. We got five wonderful bite size “amuse-bouches” to start. The vegetable tart starter was absolutely delicious. The fish main course and dessert were also good, and we received three extra small sweets to finish. Both adults and kids loved this restaurant!

29/08/2024: Very nice setting, pleasant staff and delicious meals. The only negative point was that I asked for a sparkling peach kir for the aperitif, which we brought without any problem. Except that when I had to pay my bill, my kir was charged 9 euros, I expressed my surprise. The waiter just told me it was a kir royal, they only made that. I found it very limited because at 9 euros a glass, I would have taken a simple glass of white wine. I blamed the waiter for not telling me. D or my dissatisfaction..... The only negative point despite a good meal.

04/09/2024: We came on Saturday August 24 at noon to this small, atypical restaurant following reviews on different recommendation sites. And we really weren't disappointed!!!!! Already, hand-written cards are a little charming. The cooking, mamamia, it was good! The starters are exceptional, as are the main courses and desserts! As a starter we had marinated herring on a bed of potatoes and eggs with homemade mayonnaise! The lasagna, a real delight for the taste buds and gourmands like me, and the chocolate mousse, a real culinary orgasm. The manager is super nice. We came with our little 4 month old baby and she did everything to make us as comfortable as possible. We come regularly to the region, being from Yvelin, so we will come back with pleasure!!! Thank you for this authentic cuisine and a big thank you for only sourcing French meats!!!!! Our breeders need this kind of support.
