01/06/2026: A warm welcome and a very pleasant setting with a garden that's well worth a visit. The galettes—one with goat cheese and the other with Guémené andouille sausage—were generously filled and delicious! I highly recommend this crêperie.

25/05/2026: The waiter was friendly. However, the price displayed for my drink didn't match the price I paid. I pointed this out when I paid. That didn't mean I paid the displayed price, though. I didn't press the issue, given the waitress's apparent embarrassment, but I left, asking them to correct it. It's a shame.

08/02/2026: Dinner on the 7th, a warm welcome and very pleasant service. The dishes we ordered—hanger steak, fish and chips, and veal escalope with cream sauce, served with fries and salad—were all very, very good. High-quality ingredients. The only slight drawback, which I didn't factor into the bill, was the "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee). It was missing one or two items; a scoop of ice cream or a mini crème brûlée would have been a welcome addition for €7.50. I mentioned this when we paid. Otherwise, don't change a thing! Excellent food.

01/02/2026: A family meal, 6 people, 3 generations, on a Sunday in early February, where to go? Today we discovered L'Escapade, what a pleasant surprise, the food is delicious, meat and fish to choose from, perfectly cooked, refined sauces, real expertise, very good value for money.

05/03/2026: My usual crêperie was full, and I stumbled upon this timeless restaurant tucked away in a courtyard near the Quimper train station. Everything seems frozen in the 80s/90s: spacious tables, period decor, a welcoming waiter with his lanyard draped over his arm, a wine list binder with photos and descriptions of the wines and their producing regions, Tavel served in an ice bucket with glasses regularly refilled 😳 The food is simple, homemade, and delicious. Wines are reasonably priced and mostly available by the half-bottle. A very pleasant surprise that I will gladly return to.

16/01/2026: Le Patio is a restaurant that deserves to be better known. Almost invisible from the main avenue near the train station, it's tucked away in a small courtyard (hence the name "Patio") and you have to pass under an archway to reach it. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, thanks in large part to the yellow color scheme and the wooden furniture. We were greeted by a gentleman, a most charming and pleasant man. His attire was impeccable: black trousers, a white shirt, a black waistcoat, and a bow tie. You'd think you were in a grand Parisian or Lyonnaise brasserie. I complimented him on that! As for the food, it's all fresh and prepared on-site, with about five or six appetizers to choose from, two daily specials: one fish of the day, one meat of the day, and about five or six desserts, including a cheese plate. The prices for the meal, aperitifs, and wine list are very reasonable... Don't go there to show off; you won't be seen from the station avenue. Go there to enjoy a pleasant time around a lovely, home-style table, in a warm and peaceful setting, with impeccable service. I absolutely recommend it and will return on my next trip to Quimper.

12/06/2026: Lovely place to stay. Arrived by taxi from Quimper after ferry and trains from UK. Lovely friendly staff. Swim in the salty spa pool was great. Dinner and breakfast superb. We set off along the GR 34 fully rested! Right by a beautiful beach.

04/06/2026: Hotel near the beach, 3 stars but it's a 13 🌟 + attentive staff who meet every possible expectation... Newspaper, umbrella 🌂, delicious breakfast, mint water 🍋, information and advice in the lobby, etc... Premium room with sea view, washing machine ☕, what more could you want? TV, bathtub, quiet space and more... a stay for 2, 5 minutes from the Thalasso spa. Thank you to the entire Kastel team who rise to every challenge 😄

09/06/2026: The crepes are good, but nothing exceptional either.

07/06/2026: Having heard so much about this restaurant, we made a reservation (required). The dishes were very generous and delicious. However, we waited 45 minutes for the first course and quite a while for dessert. A shame.

19/05/2026: We stayed at the Armoric Hôtel in Bénodet for three days during a gathering of a group of cycling tourists in April 2026. The quality of the hotel's services and the warm welcome from all the staff were remarkable and allowed us to have a very pleasant stay in a relaxing setting with a very convenient location. Special mention goes to Stéphanie, the hotel's reception manager, for her kindness and professionalism. Porspoder Cycling Club

11/05/2026: There were 10 of us, and we ate extremely well after 3 days of hiking and camping. The staff is very professional, and the service is quick. Highly recommended. Address saved. 👍
