09/09/2024: Very nice discovery! A calzone with perfect egg cooking which has become rare! Hats off to the pizza maker 😀 My wife chose a Giuliano. Copiously stocked with products of certain quality! Experience to be repeated without hesitation would be to exchange again with friendly bosses!! 👍

11/08/2024: Très longue attente pour 4 crêpes et 2 salades cheveux trouvés dans la crêpe Cuisinier sans charlotte donc évidemment on comprend mieux en allant payer nous avons vu le cuisinier transpiré (ce qui est normal) et des gouttes de sueurs sont tombés dans les salades en préparation bon appétit... Je déconseille vivement

31/08/2024: Very disappointed, we went there last week one evening. Cold reception, we had the impression of being a nuisance. The woman in the kitchen, perhaps the boss, was arguing with a waiter or the boss, it was very tense between them and we were present. On the terrace, chair not comfortable, the young waiter did his job and was smiling. We waited to get the bill even though there weren't many people there. The crepes nothing more, nothing exceptional. The Chinese restaurant next door is much better and the welcome is nothing. Relational conflicts cannot be resolved in the presence of customers!

05/08/2024: After the market we just wanted a little something to eat and drink because of the heat. However, after the order had already been taken, the boss pointed out in a very unfriendly manner that this was a restaurant and that every guest had to eat here. Hospitality is not far off here. We left the drinks untouched and left. There are many good and friendly creperies elsewhere.

06/09/2023: Burnt burger bun, asked for rice, was served fries because the kitchen was supposedly closed and they were out of rice. Ordered a coke, I received a glass with sugar around it, I initially thought it was decorative, in fact no it was well stuck sugar probably dating from a while ago, so we wonder how the dishes are made. Anyway, fifty minutes of waiting for that, very disappointed.

06/09/2023: Unwashed salad, burger bun burned on top, wrong dish three times, we received the starters with the dishes so that he could close the kitchen as quickly as possible so the customers eat cold, and finally the pizza was closer of the sole of a flip-flop than a crust topped with a mushroom and half a piece of flip-flop. Fortunately the server was friendly although overwhelmed. To run far away and change the kitchen "staff" as soon as possible, we don't ask to eat bocuse but at least eat something edible, a salad, wash for example.

29/08/2024: we stayed for 3 nights in the “la provençale” room. The priory is very well located: near the Domaine de Bres where we were going for a wedding, next to the Ceze for a little swim (access next to the wash house), the Sautadet waterfalls, the restaurants of Goudargues (the terraces of the tavern and tapas bar are friendly) small towns which are worth the visit (la roque sur Ceze, uzes,...). Eric, a discreet host, kindly welcomed us and advised us on restaurants and sites to visit. he was flexible regarding our departure time. Small, clean room with separate toilet and toilet and a pretty terrace which overlooks the roofs of the priory. TV, air conditioning, fan: everything was OK. The priory is authentic, full of charm and very pleasant. Breakfast consists of pastries, breads, jam. A bit simple for fans of buffet-style breakfasts. it is served in a charming vaulted room. The whole thing is aging (painting, swimming pool which leaves something to be desired, terrace furniture) which is a shame.

26/08/2024: Magnificent building, in a hamlet near the river. An old stone house with character. UNFORTUNATELY : -The bed and pillows were not comfortable. -the shower was half in the dark. -no shower gel/soap -a broken flush button -no air conditioning or fan (in this heat, we had to sleep with both windows open and were suddenly woken up by the neighbor's dog) -breakfast with supermarket products.. not great croissant, sour orange juice (not the taste of freshly squeezed juice!) -obvious lack of cleanliness. -and I made a reservation for €92, the manager wanted to charge me €97! I had to show my reservation on the phone so he could give me the right price. Too bad because the place has a lot of potential!

24/01/2025: Warm welcome from Sandrine. 3/4 starters, 3/4 dishes of your choice well cooked at reasonable prices. Tables on the sheltered terrace.

11/05/2024: Very nice discovery this afternoon, in the middle of the Uzès market. Cerise is very kind, sunny and smiling. The focaccia was delicious, not to mention the dessert, for me a walnut tart 🥰🥰 a lunch treat. Thank you girls, top service. Kisses the tourist from the north 🥰😘

29/07/2024: Un bon repas avec une équipe conviviale. L'équipe a le sourire et est particulièrement agréable. Vous passerez toujours un bon moment au restaurant Le Sud. J'ajoute que les pizzas étaient excellentes! Mention spéciale à Nolan qui, je l'espère, remportera son concours 😉
