Campanile Nimes Sud-Caissargues Restaurant
Caissargues
04/06/2026: Hotel located on a very busy road, so there's a lot of noise until 1 a.m. and again from 5 a.m. onwards.
The room was run-down and didn't match the renovated photos on the website.
Dinner was passable (pizza not recommended).
Cleanliness was minimal, barely acceptable.
Conclusion: Avoid
27/05/2026: Comfortable and well-equipped room. Well laid out, so a bit noisy in the mornings on weekdays.
Although a bit dated, it meets the standards of this category. Book directly. Booking sites take a large commission...

Brasserie Lou Mazet
Les Angles
23/07/2026: I hadn't seen the reviews before going in (and they were justified). The owner was very unpleasant 🤦♂️ bordering on rude. I think that when you go into an establishment to spend money, customer service is part of the job. A vacation is in order, or perhaps a career change, Madam. P.S.: I ate well and was well served by the gentleman. You're welcome 👋 Dom
10/06/2026: Spanish tapas. Everything was very good.

Grand Cafe de la Bourse
Nimes
14/07/2026: Very unfriendly owner. I would never go back there.
12/07/2026: I'm adding to my previous review: the café crème is €5!!! Next door it's €3. You can now read the rest of my review from a few months ago below. And to clarify, I came back here not because I'm a masochist, but because it's Sunday morning and the cafés in front of the Pradié fountain are closed... go figure...
Previous review: The Google rating is well-deserved; the service is mediocre, which is regrettable considering the owner also runs the Chez Hubert restaurant next door, which is much appreciated. The worst part: they don't serve ice cubes with your fingers, and when you point it out, there's no apology, just "I'll talk to the manager." Well, now he knows! That's how you ruin a location of exceptional quality!

La Perle Blanche
Le Grau-Du-Roi
03/06/2026: I ordered a portion of green beans and shrimp. I'm not complaining about the food, but the service. It's a shame to order to eat in and then have your meal heated up in plastic and served on a plate. It's bad for the environment and for our health, since hot plastic releases microplastics.
08/05/2026: Extremely severe food poisoning today, 07/05/2026, from lemongrass chicken. Avoid at all costs.

La Corniche des Cevennes
Saint-Jean-Du-Gard
23/10/2025: Avoid this hotel at all costs. The price is exorbitant for the service provided. Everything is neglected: terraces, gardens, etc. They even had a Sahil leaf blower charging in the lobby (haha). The reception staff were completely indifferent. The room wasn't heated; I had to ask for a space heater, which they provided... and it didn't work, haha! There was a kettle in the room, but it didn't work either.
In short, everything is appalling. It seems to be a certified Logis de France hotel, perhaps from the 2000s, but it definitely smells like a scam: they're taking in guests while waiting to be shut down... I'm going to alert Logis de France immediately.
22/08/2025: Disastrous experience: reservation made and confirmed, deposit paid, and the hotel is closed without any communication. No answer on the phone, the place is deserted and appears to be in a truly questionable state of repair. Absolutely avoid

Bistro Régent
Nimes
15/09/2024: Great service.
Super tasty food, top service and the prices are impressive.
Service always very attentive. No problem at all even with small guests.
06/09/2024: The food is very good (especially very good) for cheap, service a little cold, the manager dressed to the limit of reason.

Domaine de Massereau
Sommieres
24/06/2026: We have visited Massereau nearly every year since 2007. In the last 18 months there has been a change in ownership. Despite considerable challenges the management and staff have done an excellent job of bringing Massereau back to being a great place to be. Massereau is back to its best. A wonderful site in a wonderful location. A particular mention must go to Nadia whose hard work and excellent leadership of the team who clean the cabins, typifies the warmth and desire of the staff to be the very best. Well done Massereau.
30/04/2026: Booked via Roan. Nice small scale camping. Great restaurant. And the wine cellar across the road is definitively worth a visit if you are into wines.

28/07/2024: Very large room. Very well decorated. The welcome is perfect. Breakfast is hearty. Very nice hotel

Le Cote Plage
Le Grau-Du-Roi
07/12/2024: Yesterday, we were in this restaurant for the rock frequency evening, a top group performing Johnny's classics. On the other hand, as for the meal, I paid 16€90 for a plate of salad, with absolutely nothing on the plate!!!! Other regulars had the same reaction!!!! A shame to serve this! I won't eat there again.
03/11/2024: Hello. Arrival at the beach side restaurant at 12:30 p.m. starter ordered immediately, I was served my starter at 1:30 p.m. 6 cold shrimps on the plate, 3 of which no longer had heads (probably reheated from the day before given the state of freshness) forgot to the 2nd starter, (my partner's mussels au gratin) after three requests arrived 20 minutes later.
We ate the starter at 1:50 p.m.
The dishes arrive 1 hour later after getting up to ask for them.
Dry plus 10 fries plus salad put in bulk without any presentation.
Uncooked bull skewer, also placed loose on the plate.
Dessert: chocolate mousse with almost no chocolate taste and tarte tatin with a burnt taste.
Departure 3:45 p.m. (disgusted)
RESTAURANT TO AVOID.
