25/08/2024: We have just stayed in this superb building with its mill renovated by the owners with great taste, charm and authenticity. The magic happens... a very calm and relaxing place in the Gascon countryside. As for the new priority ones, they are simply charming, welcoming, and communicative with this kindness that we all expect and that we find here 😊 A "splash" in the superb freshly built swimming pool, a nap in the hammock or a game of pétanque, everything is possible with the river as background noise. A remarkable vegetable garden run by the owner's mother. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and charming place in the Gers, Au Moulin de Laumet is the place to go!💫🤩 Thank you for your welcome and sympathy. 22/08/2024: We spent 2 nights in la bastide and really enjoyed it. This place has a slightly informal vibe at times, but in a way that doesn't take away from high quality experience. Even the simpler room was lovely, and our dog was welcome throughout. We didn't realise when booking how much space there was around the property (both in and out) to just chill out. The restaurant is definitely a highlight - we had dinner there twice, and both were excellent (despite a little mix-up regarding a special dinner). A second highlight is the staff who in general were very warm and sweet, with an extra shout to Maddie (both at dinner and breakfast) whose cheerful attitude was contagious, and Luciana who took great care of us at dinners (for example providing a mosquito spray when we had a table near a hedge). It's small touches like this that show you care and preparation in the team. On this occasion we didn't visit the village but it's very near for those who want a bit more variety for food.

19/08/2024: An incredible experience. From the service to the tasting, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect! Real taste discoveries but also in terms of textures. A great address to do. Little extra: we were in the small room on the right which only had 5 tables with ours so it was really very pleasant and intimate.

Really, don't hesitate; we also had people participating in the lunch cruise who were friendly. A great atmosphere! We had a great laugh.

25/11/2025: The welcome was terrible... The hamburger had no sheep's cheese, or at least you really had to look for it because halfway through the burger, I had to look inside... I didn't see or smell any cheese before! I don't like a hamburger without cheese... Furthermore, it felt like a canteen for professionals and muscle-bound people... Besides, we were packed in like sardines... And to get up from the table, you can't be overweight, otherwise it's impossible... On the other hand, the blonde waitress was very friendly... Frankly, I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant! Yuck!

24/01/2025: Very good menu full of flavor and very well presented, nothing to say about that, even the wine served in the pitcher was good!! On the other hand, it is very difficult to hold a conversation and he delays going outside because of the hubbub. So unfortunately it's noisy but if you ignore that everything is great even the service, the kindness everything is impeccable!!

10/03/2024: We had a wonderful lunch here! The place was packed with people, understandable, so make sure to make a reservation. We had fish balls and a heavenly Cassoulet as well as magnificent duck hearts - the desserts are not to be missed and the price is extremely sympathetic. A true bargain!
