20/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The setting is very warm and authentic, ideal for enjoying superb Savoyard specialties. The raclette and local charcuterie were excellent and very generous. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it for a truly gourmet experience in Annecy!

19/06/2026: Don’t order the salads! We stopped for lunch here after a ChatGPT recommendation. The salads are very skinny with a few salad leaves and a single tomato sliced into 4. Mine had cheap ham and a huge pile of dry fries. My wife’s had 2 poached gags and some bacon bits. Very disappointed for French food.

12/03/2026: To celebrate some good news with my colleagues, we went back to the Saint-Charles. The waitress recognized me and criticized the review I'd left after my last visit: "5 euros for 10 cl of rosé is highway robbery and outrageous... I asked the owner for an explanation, who told me that was the normal serving 🤔 This brasserie should be boycotted, plus they spoke to me like I was an idiot 😔" She was verbally condescending, unpleasant, and sarcastic... When you're a business owner or employee, you have to know how to accept criticism and be respectful to the customer: that's the foundation of being a professional, something this young lady clearly doesn't understand. If she reads this post, know, Mademoiselle, that your opinion is worthless to me, and don't forget that without customers, there's no business. You have to accept criticism when it's justified. A true professional would have reacted the opposite way.

08/06/2026: We ate at Regann twice during our two visits to Annecy, in October and June. Both times we thoroughly enjoyed our meals; the food was high quality, plentiful, and the atmosphere was great. The service was very professional and relaxed – we loved it!

After being turned away from two restaurants, we stumbled upon this place by chance. A young man with long hair took care of us; he looked after us like a pro: smiling, kind, and energetic. 25/06/2026: Appalling. We were practically pounced on as soon as we arrived, forced to order immediately even if we wanted to wait, under the pretext that they couldn't send our order? It's clearly a tourist trap, avoid it at all costs!!!! A reflection of overtourism in Annecy.

01/07/2026: We had dinner as a family with our two young children this evening on the terrace. Our children are small (2 and 4 years old) and, like many children their age, they can move around, laugh, and play while remaining under our supervision and staying in their own space without going to the neighboring tables. Unfortunately, a customer took it upon himself to shout at our son in a completely inappropriate manner, genuinely frightening him. The restaurant staff immediately intervened with great calm and professionalism, reminding everyone that one does not speak to a child in that way. The situation then escalated. These customers were also disrespectful to the servers, as well as to other people in the restaurant. Despite this, the entire team remained remarkably calm, patient, and professional. A family restaurant naturally welcomes families with young children. If some people are looking for an environment where absolute quiet is expected, there are establishments better suited to that need. We wanted to sincerely thank the entire team for their warm welcome, kindness, and support. We left feeling uneasy because of the behavior of these customers, but certainly not because of the restaurant, which is in no way responsible for this situation. We recommend this establishment without hesitation; we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the thoughtful touches for our children during the meal. Thank you again to the whole team for your kindness.

27/06/2026: Excellent food, we had the burger and the shrimp roll which were very fresh and tasty. Also seemingly one of the only restaurants with air conditioning which was perfect for the hot day. Pleasant staff as well. Would give 6 stars if I could!
