23/02/2026: If you want my opinion... it's a must-see!

16/02/2026: First time at this restaurant, which my boyfriend knew well, for Valentine's Day! It should have been a pleasant experience. The food was good, some nice discoveries, but the dishes were served lukewarm, even cold. We ordered several, but everything arrived at once! We arrived at 7 pm. It was already busy, but there were still tables available. Since you can't make a reservation (the website says "doesn't take reservations, but you can arrange it on the spot"), we arrived early to be sure of getting a table! We were asked if we wanted a table, and we said, "Yes!" We said it was for drinks and food... We sat at the bar facing the servers, waiting for a table. A couple arrived after us, sat at the bar next to us, and the server served them drinks before us. We felt invisible. Around 8 pm, the waitress finally looked at us and asked, "Would you like something to drink?" Well, yes! The waitress asked us if we wanted a table, took our order, and we waited, thinking, "She'll seat us later." All the other couples, who arrived much later, were seated, while we were left at the bar. They put down our napkins and cutlery, and we realized we wouldn't be getting a table. We told the waitress, and her response was, "Oh, we didn't understand." Next to the till, facing the dishwasher and the noise from the bar, it was far from romantic! The atmosphere was nice, they offered a digestif, the coffee was very good with the dessert, and the servers were still friendly, thankfully. But for a first visit, we were a little disappointed considering the bill we left for two people; we would have liked to be properly seated at a table.

28/02/2026: My grandmother used to come here often when she was little. It's a very classic place, but not too sweet. The croissants are delicious.

26/02/2026: I really like this place. Their pastries are delicious! However, if you want to have a drink and a small cake, go before 4:30 pm to get a seat.

08/03/2026: No wonder they're hiring a waiter, because it must be hard to find someone so rude and disrespectful. Groups of 11 people who squeeze tables onto the terrace (without leaving the designated area, respecting other customers, being courteous and respectful, and ordering overpriced drinks) are not welcome because "we're taking up too many tables." Apparently, we'd have to cram five of us onto stools around tables meant for two to please the owner, who "couldn't care less." He makes his money all summer long from tourists, so the locals of Annecy out of season don't interest him... So we moved to another terrace, where we were welcomed with pleasure, respect, and good humor 😀! And they even offered to move our tables closer together 😆

07/03/2026: A lively bar, tasteful rock music, the place is unusual in its layout and very friendly.

28/06/2025: Such delicious food and cute ambiance!! The manager we interacted with was sooo kind and funny and it was a great date night!

14/02/2026: The food was good but not very generous, especially for the price, and the service was really poor – no smiles, and we had to ask for everything ourselves, several times… in short, we understood why there was space left here and not elsewhere…

08/02/2026: A pleasant lunch at L'Authentic. The Savoyard burger was very good, quite substantial, and well-prepared. The dining room is attractive, with tasteful decor, and the view of the canal adds a real bonus to the setting. The service was adequate; overall, a good experience.

21/02/2026: A chef who was too rushed, a little too cramped in the room

21/02/2026: The fondue was bland, a bit too much like béchamel sauce, and the waiter kept bumping into me; I don't think he saw me. I don't recommend it.

22/02/2026: The restaurant was fairly clean, and the staff were friendly. However, the meal was disappointing: the raclette was mediocre, the tartiflette tiny, and the salad consisted of two leaves, a piece of tomato, and a drizzle of white sauce. The music completely ruined our appetites; it didn't match the ambiance or the food at all. We definitely don't recommend this restaurant for couples looking for a first date. It could be very awkward. And it would be awkward for anyone else too!

14/02/2026: Excellent service, I recommend the Viennese chocolate

12/02/2026: We stumbled in to try a typical pastry we saw in the window and ordered hot chocolate with cream and another flavored with orange. Everything was delicious, the service was very attentive, and the place was lovely. Highly recommended.

27/01/2025: Very warm welcome, generous and refined cuisine (wow, the Saint-Pierre!). We had an excellent time in this lovely, quiet restaurant. The wine recommended with our dish was very good too. We will come back, for sure! THANK YOU !!!

08/03/2026: Very comfortable, very good food, not a pretentious presentation just straight forward & reasonable (not huge but good) portion size Wines within reach Excellent value The owner is very charming & hospitable and gives Sam Heughan a run for his money in the looks department. We went twice & probably should have gone 3x because we never founda place that we preferred, although we did try different regional cuisine. If you found this helpful please like and follow.

02/12/2025: We arrived as a group of four without a reservation and received a very warm welcome! The meal was good, and the staff were friendly and pleasant. We returned in the afternoon for a drink. It was very busy, and there was only one person serving. He told us it wasn't possible given the number of people, which we understood. While we were looking online for another place to go, tables became available. So we asked again if we could be served, and the answer was yes, but with a delay! We had time, so no problem. And we didn't wait long. Thank you for the lovely welcome. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again 😊

29/11/2025: Bar/brasserie facing the Pâquier promenade. Outdoor terrace. Friendly welcome. I recommend it.

28/06/2025: What a miserable attitude. Wanted a quick beer because it was 33 degrees and we were hot and tired. We were sent to the non dining tables (fair enough) except the only ones free were in the full heat of the sun. So we asked if we could have our drinks in a shaded area. No. Well can you please put up the umbrellas in the drinking area. No. They are broken. Then we noticed that there were people drinking right where we were talking, in the shade. They overheard and said we’re leaving, have our table. No you can’t said the waiter. They are for diners. Yet it was barely past 6pm and there were no diners. We said we’d be 10 minutes. Nope. Manager’s rule. This place will never see our custom and we cannot recommend it at all. Who knows, we may have enjoyed our drinks and stayed for dinner. Too many other places that have good service and treat people with kindness. Avoid this place.

21/06/2025: The service is bad, a lot of noise and the prices are way too expensive, there are better addresses in Annecy!! Never again

14/02/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Everything is frozen from Metro. Nothing is homemade. We ordered beef and it was veal, the steak was overcooked, it was like shoe leather, and the fries were frozen, just like the nuggets on the kids' menu! It's clear there are no real chefs in the kitchen! We were really disappointed. The worst part is that they're transparent enough to say it wasn't good, but nobody asks why.

07/02/2026: A good place with reasonable prices and a very warm welcome, no waiting time. Simple cuisine.
