Between the foie gras soup, the perfectly balanced dishes, and the desserts that were both fresh and indulgent, we had an unforgettable evening. And all at more than reasonable prices considering the quality of the food. Excellent, friendly, and efficient service, fresh ingredients, delicate combinations, and good wines. Thank you again!
19/02/2026: This is our second lunch here, and the experience is always excellent, beautifully presented, and sometimes offers delightful surprises for the senses. Congratulations to the kitchen team for maintaining such high standards of expertise. Special mention also goes to the service, which was always perfectly timed while remaining discreet and unassuming. It's hard to find a restaurant in the area with such excellent value for money.

27/08/2025: An absolutely unforgettable experience! Nestled in the heart of the Alps, this restaurant is a true gem. The view is breathtaking, each dish is a journey for the taste buds, and the welcome is as warm as it is sincere. You can feel the passion in each plate, fresh products enhanced with talent and creativity. I envy those who live nearby and can go there regularly... it's an address we would like to keep secret, but which deserves to be known to everyone.

09/03/2026: A wonderful rediscovery of La Bournerie, which we first knew many years ago. The setting is still as charming as ever, as is the comfortable room. The owners are very welcoming, the whole team is fantastic, and the meals are generous and delicious. (Those stairs certainly help keep us in shape!)
We will definitely be back!

Food service: no consideration for allergies or dietary restrictions, inconceivable food combinations...
And to top it all off, the use of security cameras was highly questionable!
A quick inspection by the DGAL (French Directorate General for Food) and the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) would be very helpful.

22/02/2026: It's always a pleasure to have lunch at this mountain restaurant. Whether it's for the quality of the food, the friendliness of the owners, or the sunny location away from the hustle and bustle of the ski lifts.
I highly recommend their Yeti burger!
And for a perfect end to a sporty day, don't miss their banana rum—it's divine ;)

30/03/2026: We stumbled across this absolute gem while on holiday in Le Grand-Bornand and it was a highlight of our trip. The food was fantastic and the pizza in particular was top quality, complemented perfectly by the lovely and welcoming service we received. We were surprised to learn that this was actually their final day under the current ownership, which is a real shame given the high standard they have maintained. We truly enjoyed our meal and want to wish the team all the very best for the future.

14/03/2026: As for the waitress, she was very friendly and accommodating. Regarding the set menus, I don't recommend the salads; they're very expensive for what they contain. The Bornandine salad has a lot of salad, a little ham, and four fritters (like dauphine potatoes) with Reblochon cheese. It's very dry and therefore heavy. I couldn't finish it. It's definitely not worth 21 euros.
16/02/2026: The value for money isn't great; the €21 salad meal isn't particularly generous.
Otherwise, the service and atmosphere are perfectly acceptable.

A team offering exceptionally friendly and efficient service! Well done to them!
I don't like easy criticisms, so I'll just say that the food is home-style, perfect for a ski break.
Have a great end to the season and highly recommended for its ski-in/ski-out location.
16/02/2025: The manager was extremely unpleasant and rude. She flatly refused our simplest requests (like adding an egg to our dish), was unable to offer any advice, and, worst of all, yelled at us in front of all the other customers because one of the children with us, a one-year-old, had spilled crumbs under his high chair! Appalling… You should be ashamed of your unprofessional, unprofessional, and aggressive behavior… Luckily, the young waitresses were nice to make up for it :)

14/09/2024: Very pleasant setting, a magnificent mountain chalet, what we are looking for in this region. The order was forgotten, 1 hour of waiting and the hot box arrived lukewarm with the cheese not melted... the waitress complains very often despite the fact that the room was not full. No commercial gesture to compensate for the delay. It's a shame.
The dishes lack character and uniqueness, we expect more flavors for a restaurant specializing in Savoyard cuisine. Not catastrophic but we advise you to try something else!

02/09/2024: Parfaitement bien situé. L’établissement possède des chambres, un restaurant, une brasserie /pizzeria. Une belle terrasse. Le personnel est accueillant. Le service se fait à votre rythme. La carte est donc fournie et vous y trouverez votre bonheur. Les pizzas sont excellentes et en quantité. Les prix sont raisonnables. Je recommande.
