21/08/2024: A bar which is a reference with the television series Kaamelott... A welcome with a smile... A nice terrace... A pleasant and typical setting... A fast service which corresponds to what we ask for... What more could you ask for..perfect!!!

19/09/2024: For a quick meal.it work fine. Nothing special and very ordinary cafeteria style environment. The measl we had were tasty and filled the hunger panf we had. Not a bad spot, we could be back when we come this way.

The prices charged, considering the quality of its memnus and dishes, are really friendly. Don't hesitate to stop there, you will have a good time. I will return there on my next visit..

17/11/2024: Bring back the previous owners, menu and staff. We have used it every week for the last 20 years but enough is enough now when we walked out for the last time. Totally ignored by the owners and their staff, as were the other 3 tables around us so we left after 30 minutes. Tried it previously a few weeks before and the food and service was terrible. Why have they destroyed what was previously such a friendly place that had an excellent menu and caring staff? Recommend driving along the road to L’Atelier in Royere de Vassiviere instead.

06/09/2024: At first glance, the island is a wonderful and relaxing place, but that's without taking into account the too many "works of art" that mark the way. Words fail me to describe most of them and above all I think of my lavishly spent taxes!

08/07/2024: Mentioned widely outside OPEN 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. BUT BE CAREFUL if you arrive at 1:30 p.m. even in peak season we are no longer serving at this time... What a shame 😔 I always wonder how these restaurateurs live? It ruins the holidays a bit

18/09/2024: Very friendly establishment with old-world charm in the city center of Limoges Left part press and tobacco Right part bar I had a little coffee there before work You can eat sandwiches and charcuterie on site at any time The boss is a little suspicious but pleasant

26/09/2024: We were disappointed with the welcome: the friendliness of the waitresses needs to be reviewed… When we entered the café, the waitress looked at us but did not seat us. Then, we ask twice for glasses of water but we feel like we're bothering the waitresses so we ask for a carafe and get a response: "we don't make carafes" original for a restaurant??? Finally, we observe the boss (probably) rolling a cigarette behind the counter… However, the crepes and chocolates were very good and well presented.

15/09/2024: When we answered the question of whether we wanted to eat or just drink with drink, the waitress sent us to a bad seat in the shade (17 degrees in autumn). Another waiter then angrily took away our cutlery and glasses of water. The glass of tap water we ordered with our coffee didn't arrive either. We were treated very unfriendly, so you don't feel welcome :( Overall very unfriendly staff. But the coffee and the hot chocolate were fine. Nevertheless, I find the 10 cent surcharge for a pinch of cinnamon over the hot chocolate outrageous!

15/09/2024: Last minute booking. Disappointment when we arrived in the parking lot. Remains of construction site around the building. The terrace is not very maintained. The hotel is old. The welcome is friendly. . The rooms are comfortable and clean. The advertised restaurant is closed. A good refreshment wouldn't be amiss.

27/07/2024: Very friendly but... I ordered a steak, a lot of nerve, a little elastic, my mother asked for a minced steak, it was overcooked. The other guests found the burgers quite good, the fries were delicious. I found it average for 20€ a piece! Plus I really don't like clearing my plate myself. I recommend it for fans of a fast food atmosphere with beautiful American decor because it's really nice. But for my part I won't come back, it's not my cup of tea

23/10/2024: Still waiting for the quote for our wedding. After a reminder by telephone we were informed of an average wait of 15 days, a month later still nothing. We are not going to take the trouble to follow up again given the telephone reception: we ask a question other than concerning the quote: dry response, we had the impression of disturbing. Organizing a wedding involves stress and a budget; we are not going to chase after service providers and are looking for at least a good exchange.

19/08/2024: we went to the mango tree 2 years ago, the welcome was warm and we rented a bungalow with breakfast included for 3 days. we were 6 people, we came to see friends 5 minutes from the hotel. We were delighted with the stay, we had not taken our meals there. We came back this year, me and my wife, we live in Reunion and after our first stay where the manager, a Reunion Islander, had warmly welcomed us, we decided to take a room for the night with breakfast. we arrived around 8 p.m. the reception was cold as if we were disturbing. we asked if we could have dinner, the person curtly told us that it was right away because he was closing the kitchen and that we would only have one dish, either salad or a hot dish. surprised by this lack of consideration and warmth, she placed us on the terrace. We sat down and ordered a dish with fish and vegetable garnishes and a meat with vegetables. we were able to order a bottle of rosé, we helped ourselves to glasses from school canteens. The meal was mediocre and tasteless. we left the next morning still with the "same April smile on an icy lake" but on the other hand a bill of around 150 euros for services which were below that of a "roadside restaurant" experience that we will not do again in this bouiboui!!
