16/11/2024: Still, chance does things well!☝️ Looking for a restaurant, we arrived in front of this all red and glass storefront without conviction! After reading a few comments on TripAdvisor, we were tempted. Very nice decor, and a strong Occitan claim. An excellent welcome and there, it was a feast for the taste buds, a feast for the eyes😳 on the presentation of the very copious dishes. Traditional Limousin cuisine that explodes in your mouth and makes you gain 2 extra waistlines. 🫣🤪 It is more than certain that we will come back! I’m validating👌👍🫶

24/09/2024: En voyage en camping car nous avions décidé de dîner puis de dormir sur le parking gardé de l'établissement, mais vu qu'il était de bonne heure nous avons décidé de continuer un bout de chemin. En ce qui concerne l'accueil et le repas très bien,très bon. Buffet frais et pour l'essentiel maison et ensuite des plats bien cuisinés. D'ailleurs au retour nous avons retardé l'heure du petit déjeuner ayant constaté que nous allions repassé tout près.

25/09/2024: Still excellent! Their matured meat is masterful, in addition to being local. I highly recommend the prime rib 🥩 It is tender and tasty. The service is impeccable, as is their advice on choosing the wine to accompany the meat. This is a restaurant not to be missed during your visit to Limoges.

07/12/2024: We had lunch at the restaurant, passing through Rochechouart. Very warm welcome, dishes prepared with passion. Special mention to the hare à la royale and the 'Boule de neige' dessert made with apple and calvados. We will come back!!!

24/11/2024: We ate in this restaurant last night, we had a great time! Good products, well cooked and all homemade! We will come back with pleasure, well done to the cooks and waiters.

10/07/2025: There were three of us, and the waitress didn't give us a great welcome. We were told it was full, even though the terrace was half empty. There was no one in the restaurant. I think they didn't want to bother taking on too many customers that night, but hey, the wheel turns, and you should never turn away a customer when you can. At least, my friends and I won't be back anytime soon.

04/07/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this charming crêperie located just a stone's throw from the cathedral. For a very reasonable price, the crêpes were delicious, generous, and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent: fast, efficient, and the staff remarkably friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, friendly meal without breaking the bank, with a warm welcome and a pleasant setting. We'll definitely be back!

22/09/2024: Had a great lunch here, sitting outside in the pretty square. The Maître d' speaks perfect English (with a strong US accent!) and was able to explain the finer points of the menu. Closes for the winter months but definitely looking forward to returning next year.

19/09/2024: We booked this hotel over the phone. We arrived late in the afternoon and had dinner. Very kindly welcomed by the landlady who took us to our spacious, clean and well-equipped room (newly renovated!). We went down for dinner. The menu offered included 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts to choose from. After some advice from the waiter, very pleasant and friendly, knowing his dishes well, we placed our order. And what a surprise it was a dinner full of flavors, an explosion in the mouth which exalted the right mix of spices and a Limousin meat cooked to perfection accompanied by small vegetables which went well with this beautiful piece of meat!!. All the praised products were fresh and cooked by the Chef 🧑‍🍳 Edith, the boss!!. It was such a beautiful and good place that we had lunch there on Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend Douce Demeure in Mortemart, the only village classified as "the most beautiful village in France in Haute Vienne!!. See you soon for another "gastronomic" stopover!!."

30/06/2025: Don't be fooled by the photos of the old establishment 😉 The new Viaduc is a friendly bar-restaurant with warm decor, two dining rooms and an outdoor terrace. 28/06/2025: The staff welcome us and was very helpful with choosing the right seats as it was unusually hot. We enjoyed the food, and very enjoyable.

14/08/2024: Unfortunately we didn't ask to sit outside. Looked like a nice terrace under vine. Lots of different flavours. Really tasty. Lovely juices and ciders. reasonable price. Fruit picking only in the morning. Shop on site

21/08/2024: Peanut butter ice cream with real chunks in it! Very little sweetness, a delight!!! Caramel ditto! It feels like you're biting into a real Caramel! Chestnut with pieces of Chestnut... excellent Lots of choice! Everything is organic! I recommend

01/09/2024: Very warm welcome, the decoration is great, it feels like an imaginary world between Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Small World! The plates are generous and delicious. In short, we loved it!

14/12/2024: Trois visites en peu de temps et jusqu’à présent aucune fausse note! Service attentionné et souriant . Nous avons essayé la carte (courte sans doute bon signe) et le menu du jour, et tout est bon , entrée plat dessert ,vin (peut etre un peu frais!) Une belle découverte,au calme dans un décor bistrot sympa! Je reviendrai sans doute très vite. Merci
