26/05/2026: It's hard to find anything negative to say about the Hotel Florus. A survivor of the family-run hotel industry and the service that goes with it. Friendly, dedicated staff—a real pleasure. Unfortunately, the rooms aren't very soundproof. But I would still go back.
20/05/2026: The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, but it's been renovated. The room was spacious and pleasant. However, the bathroom was quite small. The bedding was impeccable.
The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was good, but only offered sweets, which might be a bit limited depending on your taste.
The real drawback is the soundproofing: you can easily hear what's happening in the hallway and in neighboring rooms. The bathroom ventilation vent opens directly onto the street, which also lets in outside noise.

31/07/2026: I used to like this restaurant, but today a waitress completely ignored me. I arrived before other customers, yet I was served last… well, not served at all. I asked her for the menu, then for an ashtray: she never came back. A strange way to choose your customers.
24/07/2026: In 11 years of living in Montrouge, this is only the second time I've had lunch at this restaurant. My first experience, 2 or 3 years ago, was quite unpleasant: the waitress was rushed, neither smiling nor friendly, and the dishes (burger and fries) were very expensive for the quality. This second visit, on Saturday, July 17, 2026, out of curiosity and a desire to sit down and enjoy a good meal, was very unpleasant: I was given a table right next to the grill (it was over 30 degrees Celsius!!) and, what's more, near a large table gathered for a birthday celebration, even though the restaurant was practically empty!! The owner paid me no attention whatsoever. My meal (burger and fries) was carelessly placed on my table by one of the two inexperienced young waiters (glasses were broken during my visit), and I had to get up and get the ketchup and mayo myself!! The wait was endless despite my empty plate, and when I asked for the dessert menu, the young waiter casually showed me a chalkboard hanging on the wall behind me!!! When it came time to pay (in cash), there was no smile or customer service whatsoever from the owner, Mr. Friloux!! I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN IN THIS PLACE!!!

23/06/2026: Rooms are nice and quiet, window is smaller, but you can see the Tour Eiffel. Great breakfast downstairs, 24 hour staffed, clean lobby.
16/06/2026: Excellent value for money. Super friendly staff. The location isn't central, but it's a good base for exploring Paris.
