19/08/2026: TL;DR: An amazing restaurant with exceptional food, fantastic service, and a great atmosphere. 10/10 - would absolutely recommend. I managed to snatch the last available table for two on Saturday, August 8th, and I'm very glad I did. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome. We started with water and an aperitif, accompanied by two lovely amuse-bouches. I ordered "The Green," an infused gin and tonic cocktail, which tasted great and came with a beautiful presentation. For dinner, we chose the three-course Chausey menu. We both started with the oysters, which were delicious and incredibly fresh, exactly what you would hope for when dining this close to the sea. For our main course, we both had the mussels with spaghetti and lobster bouillon. This dish was absolutely perfect. The flavours worked beautifully together, and it was easily one of the highlights of the evening. For dessert, we chose "Le Baba au Rhum Raisin", an amazingly light and boozy cake that was the perfect way to finish the meal. The service deserves a special mention as well. We weren't sure which wine to choose and had a few specific requests. Our waitress, who spoke perfect English and was specially assigned to our table, took the time to consult their wine expert and came back with an excellent selection of options tailored to what we were looking for. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had the right wine to accompany our meal. Overall, everything came together perfectly: excellent food, attentive and genuinely helpful service, beautiful presentation, and a wonderful atmosphere. It was easily one of the best dining experiences of our trip. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and would happily return.

18/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise for our first experience at this restaurant. 😊 We had lunch on the terrace in the garden, just like at home! 👍 The food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients. From start to finish, it was a delight! A special mention for the exceptionally delicious and flavorful crab terrine. The service was simple, and the staff were warm and very pleasant. 🙏 We highly recommend this establishment. We will definitely be back!

15/09/2026: Go for it without hesitation, and with your mouth wide open! Absolutely amazing! The regional galette is delicious and generously filled, served with a scoop of mustard ice cream—it's so good, it's to die for. The artisanal cider is also a pure delight. I took a card because I definitely intend to come back.

10/09/2026: Perfect for a spontaneous afternoon snack, the crepes were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend it.

06/09/2026: Perfect! A warm and friendly welcome, the dishes are homemade and excellent. My partner, a pastry chef by trade, insisted I pass on this message: Bravo to the chefs for the Kouign-amann, it was excellent!! (And to be honest, he's eaten several in different establishments, and he didn't like it as much as yours!) The buckwheat crepe options with vegetables, salmon, etc., are very interesting, and again, he thoroughly enjoyed them! (Me too, of course!!). A word to the wise: come without hesitation! One small suggestion for the establishment: it would be helpful to add curtains to the windows to prevent it from getting too hot. The sun beats down on the glass. Perhaps a thin thermal curtain that would let in light and that customers could choose to leave open or closed. Something to explore 🤗

06/09/2026: A beautiful setting, but far too slow service The real draw of this restaurant is undoubtedly its location! The terrace is lovely, practically on the sand: you just have to cross the street to find yourself directly on the beach. And with the view of Mont-Saint-Michel, on a beautiful sunny day, the setting is truly superb. Upon our arrival, a table had just become available, allowing us to be seated immediately, without any waiting. Unfortunately, the experience then deteriorated considerably. The service was extremely slow: we waited and waited, without anyone attending to us. We finally had to go directly to the bar before a server would even acknowledge our table. Regarding the wine, several things particularly surprised us: we had chosen to order a bottle rather than an aperitif to start our meal at a leisurely pace, but it arrived at the table already opened. We find this really unacceptable: a bottle of wine should, in our opinion, be presented and opened in front of the customer. Furthermore, we weren't offered any snacks while waiting for our meals, and when we asked for two extra glasses of wine, the wait was interminable. We then ordered our main courses: fish and chips and grilled ham. The portions were adequate and the dishes were decent, but nothing exceptional. However, a special mention goes to the fries, which were fluffy inside, crispy outside, and, most importantly, not too salty: a real plus! Unfortunately, the menu is very small and doesn't offer any starters, which is a shame, especially when you simply want to share something before your main course. Another disappointment: we had asked for a carafe of water, which never arrived, and we weren't offered any bread. Finally, a rather unpleasant service incident: the waiter knocked over the cutlery behind my back. In short, an exceptional location and a magnificent terrace, with the beach right across the street and a superb view of Mont-Saint-Michel. This is clearly the establishment's strongest point. However, the service, far too slow and inattentive, unfortunately spoils the experience. The food is decent, the portions are adequate, with very good fries, but overall it remains rather ordinary considering the truly remarkable setting.

12/09/2026: Having a Smartbox voucher, we received a very warm welcome both on the phone when making the reservation and during the meal. My wife was even able to change her starter and have Cancale oysters at no extra charge – well done! The waitress was very pleasant and efficient. The food was excellent.
