14/06/2026: A restaurant with a lovely view and appealing dishes, although they could have used a bit more seasoning. The dessert (macaron) was a bit underwhelming and not very well executed. However, the staff is very professional and friendly!

11/07/2026: Passing through Cancale, we followed the AI's advice for a quick lunch at a crêperie.
A decent savory buckwheat crêpe, but without salad. The salad supplement was expensive and came straight from a pre-packaged bag with completely cooked leaves.
And definitely avoid the mussels marinière. Not only was the portion very small, but half the shells contained dried-out, inedible mussels. And that's coming from someone from the Charente-Maritime region who eats them regularly.
On the other hand, the welcome and the waitress were very friendly.
It could have been so good.

04/07/2026: Perfect lunch today. Good portion size. We had the fish and chips and tuna tatiki. Very pleasant time on the terrace. Very busy. Best to arrive early. Excellent service.

08/05/2026: A very pleasant lunch at this crêperie. The scallop and leek galette was delicious. For my taste, there was a little too much chocolate and not enough lemon in the "Exquise" galette, but it was good. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service. Thank you for the warm welcome extended to our dog, Rusty. We would be delighted to return if we are ever in Cancale again.

16/06/2026: I'm not giving it 5 stars because perfection doesn't exist... but it was still a most enjoyable experience. Periwinkles, brown shrimp, langoustines, clams, and spider crab were all top-notch! The service was unpretentious, in true Cancale style, without being sloppy. Thank you.

13/07/2026: Watch out! This place charged my bill twice on their bank machine. When I found out next day I webt back and they refused to refund me. Bad bad people!
By the way. Food portions were very small. Beer is sold in bottle of 25 cl, not normal 33 cl.They cost a fortune. Clever to rip up people.

21/06/2026: We couldn't order because we wanted mussels and fries, and the fries were an extra €5.50. However, if you ordered the set menu, they were included. The waitress was rude to us, and the owner came over and told us that if we weren't happy, we should leave and try other restaurants to see if they included them. What a welcome! We left and went somewhere else, where we were very well received with a smile and mussels and fries.
07/06/2026: I stayed there for three nights; the bedding was good quality. The rooms were clean, and the owner was very friendly. From morning to breakfast and dinner, I had no complaints. There was a sea view and it's just steps from the oyster market. I recommend it.

31/05/2026: We arrived this morning for coffee, and the manager of the Querrien hotel-restaurant told us the coffee machine wasn't working! It was 9:00 AM, and the hotel guests were enjoying their breakfasts. Our disappointment was matched only by our initial, indescribable joy... So, a word to those who value kindness, respect, and professionalism: AVOID the Querrien in Cancale without hesitation. The welcome is a disgrace, and on top of that, it's delivered with arrogance and an oversized ego! Fortunately for us, just a few meters away, we were received with the utmost respect.
28/05/2026: Warm welcome and very friendly service.
But the food was 😞 not good and very expensive for what was probably frozen.
We won't be back.

30/05/2026: The staff are friendly, but serving frozen langoustines (therefore mushy and tasteless) and very expensive ones at that, in a seaside restaurant is extremely disappointing!!
