For those who don't know, the dishes here are made with love and are delicious. I challenge anyone who thinks vegetarians live on salads and vegans on seeds to come and try the concept. Because I can assure you, it's a myth, not reality. Be warned, though, you might become addicted. It's spicy and definitely not for nothing, that's for sure. It's hearty, healthy, and flavorful. You can even buy a deposit dish for 3 euros that you can keep if you can't finish your daily special. For those still hesitating, I say come, you won't believe your eyes. The winning trio ☺️ good for everyone, you eat what you like, at an excellent price. 😉☀️ 🌟 Starters and some desserts are priced by weight, which is a nice, self-service approach. You only pay for what you eat. It helps prevent food waste. I really liked this concept. 🌟 And for those who would like to try it nearby, there's also a restaurant in Cesson-Sévigné. 🌟 A daily special costs around €11 and it's quite generous.

31/01/2026: Vegetarian cuisine isn't my favorite, but it's quite good, the staff is friendly, and the setting is pleasant. I was a little disappointed today with the undercooked dishes, which I didn't find at all enjoyable. The comment was made politely, and we'll see next time. Overall, I recommend it.

05/04/2026: Despite the professional and friendly service, the quality of the food was clearly disappointing, especially considering the premium price. The so-called "roasted" salmon was tasteless and bland, and the truffle croque monsieur was simply shameful, served on a plate piled high with salad. As an added bonus, the glasses of wine were more expensive than the same bottle would cost at a wine shop. I won't be returning.

25/04/2026: A downtown restaurant with terraces on both corners. The terrace on Rue du Chapitre is less busy and opens directly onto the historic city center. As for the menu, you can choose between the à la carte options and a set menu of starter/main course or starter/main course/dessert. We opted for the set menu of the day (starter/main course/dessert) and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, service, and atmosphere. A wonderful discovery in the city center, at a reasonable price during the week. Thank you.

09/05/2026: The place is really lovely, beautiful location, architectural success! The idea of ​​combining a restaurant and a show is excellent. But there are three drawbacks: - Food quality: a €17 risotto, I'd like it to have some flavor - Service: the waiters are very friendly, but the owner, who is always around, could make an effort so her forced smile doesn't feel so forced - Show quality: even if they're beginners, when I pay €16 for admission, I expect the performer to have at least learned their lines! I recommend it for a drink, it's perfect!

21/04/2026: Lunch on the terrace at Bacchus, overlooking the Vilaine River. The dishes are simple but not overly so (special mention for the croque monsieur), the menu is short, and everything is very good. I recommend it!

Perfect for a stroll, photos, or a peaceful break in a corner steeped in history. A must-see to discover the city's old-world charm! 🏰

24/05/2026: A wonderful evening with all my colleagues. The service was absolutely top-notch, with kind and attentive waiters. A special shout-out to André, who is absolutely lovely. Thanks also to Christophe and Maïssa. I highly recommend this establishment on this beautiful square in Rennes.

14/05/2026: Restaurant/bar with a really nice atmosphere in the center of Rennes, right next to the opera house. Reasonable prices for coffee. From the outside, you might think it's a very chic place, not necessarily welcoming, but that's not the case at all.

03/06/2026: A fun little bar in Rennes. The bathroom is VERY Euro-pee-an as there are little doors separating the men. That said, why haven't the Euros invented a decent bathroom just yet? Lots of music. When band is playing it is loud.

23/05/2026: We arrived at the beginning of service at 7 pm but finally left at 9 pm without dessert because the servers kept walking past our table without clearing it and then forgot to bring us the dessert menus. We decided to leave after waiting 45 minutes. It's a shame because the dishes were good, but being placed to the side meant the servers forgot about us... 😅

16/05/2026: A very charming restaurant in an idyllic setting, right on the riverbank, perfect for a date or a family meal. We were greeted by the owner, Anthony, who gave us a very warm welcome, offered lots of helpful tips on cooking methods, and helped make our visit truly magical. The menu isn't too extensive, everything is homemade, you can see and taste it, and every dish is equally delicious (we even tried our friends' dishes). The sauces are also incredibly good; we discovered a peppercorn sauce with whisky that was simply divine, and honestly, the most delicious Roquefort sauce I've ever had. Once again, a very warm welcome. We were so glad we chose this restaurant. Thank you, Anthony! 😉 (The small group of 5 who thoroughly enjoyed themselves 😋)

29/11/2025: We go there regularly on Saturday lunchtimes when we're in Rennes. Never disappointed. The open-faced sandwiches and soups are very good. The welcome, decor, and atmosphere are always perfect. Craft beers and cider on tap. Very fast service.
