03/09/2024: We had dinner at Le Bistro Volney last Sunday, it was very busy, the food was excellent and there was plenty of wine to choose from. The Maitre d has very good English and could explain the menue. I was feeling very hot during the meal and they were able to move us to a table by the entrance. If you go on a Sunday I'd recommend booking in advance.

09/09/2024: Galettes insipides, garnitures pas cuites … les galettes ne sont même pas pliées on dirait des burritos. Service trop long.Bref plus jamais ! Dommage pour une institution rennaise de tomber aussi bas
09/09/2024: Si vous êtes pressé ne venez pas....après s être installes nous avons attendu 15 a 20 minutes pour que quelqu un s interesse à nous ( au demeurant personne sympathique) et attendre encore autant pour une malheureuse crêpe bonne sans plus
Pas de dessert ni de café pour éviter de nou elles attentes
Et pour clore le tout le monsieur nous présente la facture de la table d à côté de la notre....ils étaient 4 nous étions 2 !
Et personne ne demande si nous avons été satisfaits....

10/09/2024: Wow! It's delicious. Gourmet friends, here is the best creperie in Brittany. So, yes, I haven't done them all, but in my heart, this is definitely the best one. The crepes are delicious and the staff are extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place if you want to tickle your taste buds.

As soon as we arrived, without reservation, we were found a table for 2 people with a warm welcome. Delicious cuisine and very pleasant terrace on the banks of the Vilaine. Nice decor and top service.

07/08/2024: D'après notre expérience, ce restaurant est un superbe endroit pour un bon dîner entre amis.
La nourriture y est très bonne, le personnel chaleureux et aimable, l'endroit agréable, et les prix raisonnables.
Si vous aimez le cochon, je vous conseille vivement de venir y faire un tour !

15/09/2024: Very disappointed with this experience. We stopped at this café because the setting seemed pleasant to us. The lack of professionalism of the staff surprised us. Unfriendly waiters, endless waits because we had been "forgotten", no excuses. A word of advice, move on because on top of that, it's very expensive for what it is...

Fresh, seasonal and homemade products.
Perhaps we should review the seasoning of the dishes, it was a little lacking in flavor.
Otherwise it's perfect.
The fish & ships was excellent 👌🏻

07/11/2024: très bon endroit pour un repas de copains.Le petit menu du jour est très bien avec des plats simple, ils savent leur donner du relief, bons produits frais en bonne quantité.bon service bon acceuil.St Nicolas de bourgeuil très bon mais à 29,50 euros la bouteille.

10/08/2024: Two plum picks remain in Rennes after the disappearance of that of Saint-Grégoire. Two quality restaurants but which stand out for their menus and who knows what "personality", almost nothing which means that we can appreciate one more than the other.
Does the one in Cleunay offer more refined food? Hmmm. Does the Cesson one make better desserts? Ahhhh. Is the Cleunay dining area warmer? Ohhhh. Does the Cesson terrace make all the difference? Phew.
It's up to you.
25/06/2024: Best restaurant discovery and price/quality level...in France yes yes!! Gourmet, seasonal and innovative vegetarian cuisine! Super dynamic and smiling team, and beautiful atmosphere with a bright room and a corner dedicated to children. So nice to have you :) As we always want more... why not a caterer for meals prepared at lunchtime in the biocoop store to pick up in the evening?
