12/06/2026: We were immediately given a very warm welcome and seated by the owner, who was very friendly.
The dishes were delicious, both simple and expertly prepared.
We particularly appreciated the fact that he works with seasonal produce and local, high-quality ingredients.
A big thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience.
We'll be back more often!

10/05/2026: We had a great lunch here after a morning of moving house. They were friendly and welcoming even though it was nearly 2pm when we arrived it was not a problem for us to eat lunch. The burgers were excellent as was my plat du jour. Also the chips were delicious!! Service was very friendly and the proprietor is delightful. We will be going back!
19/04/2026: Back to "Le Mot Passant" and it was another wonderful experience. A warm and attentive welcome immediately puts you at ease.
The atmosphere truly gives the impression of "leaving home," of escaping for the duration of a meal, which is particularly enjoyable in its unpretentious setting. As for the food, we opted for a Savoyard hamburger and an andouillette sausage: two generous, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes that reflect genuine expertise.
In short, an address we wholeheartedly recommend for a pleasant time over a delicious meal.

02/07/2026: We were very disappointed during our visit on a Saturday evening. The welcome salad consisted of three wilted lettuce leaves, the brioche buns for the burgers were very dry (a known issue, according to the person taking our payment), the fries were mediocre, and the option to add another side dish was extra. On the other hand, the staff were very friendly and energetic. We had hoped the quality had improved, but no such luck. We won't be returning. Truly disappointing for a chain specializing in burgers and other seafood.

17/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to have lunch at Colette's: the food is delicious, classic dishes with a touch of originality, and the service is quick and friendly. We come back regularly and highly recommend this place!

28/06/2026: Stopped by chance – a pleasant surprise! The person greeted me with a smile, the service was quick, and the room was air-conditioned. Plus, there was shaded parking nearby.
I recommend it.

03/07/2026: A rather strange bakery, to say the least…
I bought a slice of pizza that had mold underneath. When I pointed it out to the saleswomen, they told me it was just yeast. However, I've never seen green yeast before. So, I won't be going back to eat there, as it doesn't inspire any confidence in their hygiene.
Another negative point: a saleswoman took my order and then ended up serving several customers who arrived after me. I waited almost 25 minutes for a single slice of pizza, which was lukewarm to boot.
Finally, as I was leaving, another saleswoman (or baker) started complaining about her salary and the amount of work she does for, in her own words, a "pathetic" wage. This kind of conversation has no place in front of customers and leaves a very unprofessional impression.
A disappointing experience that I won't be repeating.

29/03/2026: We only had lunch at this establishment; it's not a hotel.
How can I put it, without being unpleasant, that we ate very well, however, the service didn't live up to the price.
Let me explain: no tablecloth on the table, the wine was brought to the table without a taste, and you only got one glass... There were other things, details for some, but when the menu costs €50, you expect a certain presentation.
If you're not too fussy, you'll eat very well.

19/04/2026: We wanted to have a drink on this sunny Sunday. Not a greeting from the waiter. A 10-minute wait. Two tables arrived after us and were served before us. We left and we won't be back.

27/06/2026: I knew Bacchus when it first opened and remembered it as a chic, elegant, and very well-maintained establishment. What a disappointment it was to return on Thursday evening...
From the moment you enter and walk up the stairs, the numerous signs of damage (walls, floors, etc.) give an impression of neglect. On the rooftop, the plants look withered, the windbreaks are half torn off, and the whole place clearly lacks upkeep. The speakers are of very poor quality (it felt like a school fair), and there's no DJ anymore, just a playlist playing in the background, a far cry from the advertised atmosphere. Certainly for all these reasons, I wasn't even surprised to see so few people on the terrace on a Thursday evening, whereas it used to be packed at this time of year.
As for the food, the menu is expensive for the quality offered. Bacchus, which built its reputation on tapas and a lounge atmosphere, has completely changed its concept and, in my opinion, has lost its charm.
It's truly a shame to see an establishment with so much potential decline over the years. I sincerely hope it will one day return to the level that made it so popular.
