20/05/2026: A very warm welcome, a comfortable dining room, impeccable service, and excellent dishes at a very reasonable price. Of course, the frog legs in whisky and mustard sauce were delicious, but I especially loved the mussel vol-au-vent – ​​a must-try! And the whipped cream for dessert... In fact, the entire menu was perfect! Plus, everything is homemade. A huge thank you to the chef and the waitress, both were fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

13/05/2026: We dined there as a group of five on the evening of May 8th. The food was very good and plentiful. The only slight issue was that we were charged for three €36 menus and one €26 menu, even though we had ordered three €26 menus and only one €36 menu. After contacting them the following day, we arranged a credit for our next visit, as we will definitely be back – we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

16/07/2026: We came across this restaurant by chance and it was a great surprise. The location is great, it feels cozy. The staff is amazing and everyone speaks English very well, so it's definitely a pro for tourists. The food was tasty. We both tried the Gratin de ravioles au St Marcellin and they were amazing. To end our dinner we ordered a single scoop of ice cream to share. Definitely recommend both. Just a tiny piece of advice: the portions are quite generous so if you're not used to eat a lot, I suggest to pace yourself!

06/07/2026: I really liked the place. The food was delicious. The best part was the starter and the dessert… the whipped cream was divine. The main course was decent but nothing special (lamb). The service was pleasant and the welcome was very warm, right up until it came time to pay, with all the staff present! I'll definitely go back! However, the house wine was really bad… unfortunately, they only offered one type, and I barely managed to get a glass.

06/07/2026: While not particularly pretentious, and in fact almost presenting itself as a restaurant for all hours and occasions, it offers a carefully curated selection of traditional dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive. Good value for money.

Top: Octopus salad is back on the menu. ————- A bistro with a chef who takes pleasure in creating generous dishes with plenty of quality ingredients: ravioli, whole morels, fresh truffles, homemade profiteroles, tiramisu… A delight in a bistro atmosphere. (*) And what's more, it's a dog-friendly establishment, with a water bowl available.

18/07/2026: The restaurant "Le Coq Tail" appeals to me with its balance between tradition and modernity. The chefs reinvent familiar recipes with a touch of creativity while preserving the essence of the ingredients. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for meals with friends as well as more special occasions like after-work drinks.

21/07/2026: Excellent concert venue in Grenoble! A great lineup. The venue is small but well-designed, with elevated seating and proximity to the stage, allowing you to fully enjoy the concerts with a real sense of connection to the artists.

20/07/2026: A magnificent venue (with a human scale, as they say) and excellent sound quality. An ideal spot for concerts where you can get up close to the artists. I've seen Gierdré and Therapy Taxi there, and tonight I'm seeing Pierre De Maere. There's a restaurant/bar in the building. Organized as a participatory project, you can buy shares in the organization. Accessible by tram line A and, of course, by bike!

15/05/2026: We came with my in-laws and once again we had a wonderful meal. All the products are high-quality and everything is homemade; the dishes are beautifully presented. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the welcome perfect, and the service very professional, responsive, and attentive. In short, a fantastic experience, go without hesitation! Good value for money considering the dishes and products offered. Thank you so much for this superb meal in every way! 😀

18/06/2026: I recently went to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Grenoble (there's only one), and was disappointed by the ambiance and the food. Last week, I went to an annex of a renowned Bresson restaurant in Voiron; the setting was lovely, but the food was uninspired. For the third time in a short period, we went to La Girolle, and once again, we were very satisfied. A very good meal, beautifully presented tableware, the service was better than in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and all for a lower price. It's no wonder this restaurant has been around for so long, while others close when there's quality; it can only succeed.
