20/09/2024: Hello, we had our daughter's wedding, everything was perfect, a wonderful welcome from the owner, the delicious meal, especially the lamb shank.

25/08/2024: It’s a decent coffee location but much higher price when compared to a lot of local cafes, notably Cafe de France and Lou Lou cafe Grenoble. Starbucks vibes for boutique cafe price. Good staff members though.

27/09/2024: The donut was incredibly soft, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside and a perfectly sweet glaze. Every bite was a real gourmet pleasure! As for the smoothie, it was exceptionally fresh, well balanced between sweetness and acidity, with natural fruity flavors that blended wonderfully. A perfect duo for a successful gourmet break!

12/12/2024: Atypical atmosphere but excellent atmosphere. The vegetarian plate was plentiful, varied, really very good. I recommend and wish all the best to this atypical restaurant.

10/12/2025: I had lunch on Tuesday, December 9th. Sausage (half a sausage), lentils, rice, and salad. Basic, not very generous, and therefore expensive. 3 stars for the service considering the stairs to climb.

12/12/2025: The renovation was poorly done; it looks rushed and sloppy. The restaurant wasn't cleared in the evening, and we dined next to a filthy, uncleaned table, right in front of us and our noses, with the dinner of two people lingering throughout our meal. The breakfast buffet was awful, poorly presented, and unappealing. The products weren't worth the price.

06/12/2025: Stay from December 2nd to 5th, 2025 in Grenoble, for a conference. A disaster from beginning to end. Construction work every day from 8 am to 6 pm, never mentioned when booking: impossible to rest, impossible to work, impossible to take a nap. We pay for a hotel, we end up in a construction site. The key cards demagnetize 6 to 8 times a day, and to top it off, we're accused of "it's because of our phones," which is absolutely not the case. The result: a constant shuttle between the room and reception. We felt like we spent more time at reception than in our own room. The hairdryer didn't work: a blast of icy air, completely unusable. No one was able to provide me with another one, so I had to go out in the evening with wet hair in the middle of December. Unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. And to top it all off: no gesture of goodwill whatsoever. Nothing. Not even a word of apology. The prices, however, are definitely on par with a true 4-star hotel… unlike the service. I had a reservation at the Novotel Paris Porte de Versailles next week, which I will be canceling. After this stay, needless to say, I am deeply disappointed and will not be setting foot in a Novotel again for a long time.

14/12/2024: Perfect cuisine, subtle and light scented. Too bad we find ourselves in the middle of the room on a table of two and thus absorb all the noise and hubbub of the guests around us. A reflection on the soundproofing to be planned Otherwise I agree 100%..

10/12/2024: An interesting taste experience. The mixture of flavors is omnipresent but not excessive, always with a background of traditional cuisine, unlike certain other starred chefs who only seek novelty while forgetting their basics. On the other hand, I would have appreciated a slightly lighter, more airy dessert to wash it all down... Of course the bill is gastronomic, but is acceptable given the quality of the meal served. Note that at Fantin Latour the whole table does not have to eat the same menu, which is nice.

01/10/2024: Delicious ! A midday meal with the daily formula of starter + main course + dessert at the top. The magic of Fantin is still there. The pumpkin velouté is killer and perfect with this fall weather. Thank you for this good time. And your servers, top notch, very pleasant and attentive. See you soon :)

01/01/2025: Expérience parfaite. Sur le plan ambiance, nous arrivons dans une salle chaleureuse, il n’y pas trop de table, c’est assez silencieux tout en restant familiale. Pour ce qui est de l’accueil, personnel souriant, des personnes chaleureuses bien à l’image de leur restaurant. Très qualifié notamment le sommelier qui a régalé sur un accords mets et vins parfait. J’en découle de la sommellerie. Des vins très bons, vins de maison très connus comme hors des sentiers battus pour une découverte maximale. Tout en étant parfaitement accordé au service. Le menu 5 services, un régal du début à la vin, une cuisine raffinée, des goûts simples et agréable mis en avant par des produits recherchés et locaux. Si ce restaurant vous intéresse, et bien n’hésitez pas !! Ps : nous sommes partis avec 1-2 bouteilles de leurs stock que l’on a découvert lors de ce repas, ainsi que 2-3 petits conseils et lieux du sommelier pour passer une bonne soirée au sein de Grenoble. Merci encore !

26/09/2024: Very nice restaurant. Some dishes in the 5-course menu are a bit simple. I find it a bit expensive for that. If I go back I will try a la carte. Very good wine list.

03/12/2024: Industrial cuisine, tasteless and barely warm. The chicken was barely cooked, small pieces of merguez that seemed boiled... The desserts are just as bad while the oriental pastries are usually a real delight. To flee!

26/11/2024: We came in the evening as a couple without reservation. Very well received by the boss. Nice all-you-can-eat restaurant in a real Moroccan atmosphere and decoration. Everything is good from starter to dessert with several choices. Excellent tajine with prune and veal. Very good couscous, etc... Also the attractive price. I recommend.

02/09/2024: My friend and I came to have brunch with our daughters before the start of the school year, hoping for a moment of joy and good humor for the children, but that was without taking into account the unpleasant mood of the servers in this place. When we signaled to them (with a smile) that we were ready to place the order, they muttered something under their breath (we only heard a "that's good there...!" When one of them came next take the order, my friend couldn't find the list of fruit juices and instead of telling her the waiter told her to put on her glasses then he left without finalizing the order (we hope he left to leave us time to read? 🤷🏻‍♀️) The quality of the brunch really wasn't the best either (salad very faded, jam advertised and missing from the plate) but it would have been just passable without the derogatory remarks and the stressful atmosphere which spoiled us a little. the moment.

25/08/2024: We ordered long drinks, the waiter brought us espressos, we kindly corrected him by telling him that he was wrong and our dear waiter, as kind as a prison door, took back the espressos, put them in a single cup and went back. one lying down and re-serves us the two cups Ps: the table hasn't done anything to you, you don't have to bang the cups on it and I promise you, smiling won't kill you...

11/09/2024: A reference if there is one, the Paul establishment located in the heart of the center of the Bonne barracks commercial area in Grenoble, is faithful to the level of quality of its numerous references of pastries, breads, sandwiches and drinks. I recommend one of their best pastries of your choice, topped off with a homemade hot chocolate, the ultimate in the matter. With an incomparable creaminess that will make connoisseurs and the most gourmets of this nectar of the gods pale.... And how can we not mention the most pleasant room with chairs or armchairs around round tables which perfectly complete this relaxing place. On the other hand, if you are lucky enough to have the sun that day, don't hesitate to enjoy the terrace with arbor alongside your friends. The chain of Paul stores, the first of which was created at the end of the 19th century (1887), an establishment which has numerous branches. It goes without saying that we recommend this very welcoming business.

22/09/2024: Café waiter is extremely rude and unpleasant (old guy with short curly hair), refused when I asked for a glass of whatever "because I won't make any money off it". I was seated with several other people all ordering coffee, so I don't see the issue (nevermind the fact it is illegal to refuse to give someone water). Gave in and ordered an orange juice, it ended up costing 3.80€ for a tiny little 20cl bottle. Absolute piss-take if you ask me.
