22/01/2026: Good slope restaurant with really efficient and friendly service. Food was good and very quickly delivered. As it's on one of the main slopes it is easy to pop in and book a table for lunch.

Anyway, let's get down to business. 🧐
Thank you so much for your hospitality and the advice you gave me about the burger sauce, etc… IT WAS REALLY REALLY REALLY SO REALLY GOOD, thank you so much, and I almost forgot.
Homemade Tiramisu 🤦🏻♂️ It was so good, I ate it in just two spoonfuls, it was that delicious 😂😂
I highly recommend it, whether you eat Halal or not, it's super good, even the desserts.

22/01/2026: A cozy and welcoming restaurant with incredibly friendly service. As soon as we were seated, a woman who, according to other reviews, appears to be the owner, approached us to let us know she speaks Spanish and that we should ask her any questions we might have. We were mainly served by a young man who also speaks Spanish and was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered raclette and shared a dessert because we were full, but they looked delicious. Everything was very good. It's advisable to make a reservation, at least from Thursday onwards, as we saw that it was fully booked both at lunchtime and in the evening. It seems to be less busy the rest of the week.

We didn't have any sore bums, unlike some others who are badmouthing the place based on certain reviews!

26/08/2025: "Traditional cuisine," indeed, given the owner's attitude. A minor misunderstanding between a friend (who, incidentally, apologized profusely right away and without any ill intent) turned into a ridiculous conflict. Condescending remarks ("I'll teach you about life") followed by extremely unpleasant responses to polite questions during payment. The owner brought up the incident again with the same condescension and aggression even though we tried to calmly explain the situation. The tone escalated further, and threats were profuse (including physical threats, with an employee hiding an ashtray behind his back with the intention of hitting one of my friends), and then the owner became increasingly aggressive. A pointless argument worthy of the best reality TV shows over nothing much.
This "good" man is absolutely not recommended, and this restaurant (sorry to the other employees who have nothing to do with it) is to be avoided at all costs.
Deplorable. Simply deplorable.

16/12/2024: There are simply wonderful places, it’s rare to find them… it’s a done deal at the housewarming party!
No false note, the tone is set from the reception thanks to Edwige, Laurent works in the kitchen with a masterful hand and the whole team agrees on the same tempo!
Well done to all of you, a pleasure these 3 evenings!
The racket raclette and prime rib are a must try.

15/12/2024: We had a great time at La Crémaillère in Alpe d'Huez. The dishes were delicious: the tender and tasty chicken and chorizo skewer, the perfectly cooked duck breast, and what can we say about the enormous floating island, a real treat to end the meal!
A big thank you to the entire La Crémaillère team for their responsiveness and impeccable follow-up during our reservation. The welcome was warm and the staff very friendly and professional. An address not to be missed for an exceptional culinary experience in a warm setting in Alpe d'Huez!"

14/01/2026: Our first attempt at dining there was a failure. Despite having a reservation, we couldn't be seated because it was suddenly full. It happens, so we went back the next day. It's a shame things changed two years ago. We went back specifically for the delicious oil fondue, but it wasn't available anymore. The menu was fine, nothing special. The service was okay.

30/01/2026: Very disappointed by my recent experience. Burger prices have increased significantly, nearly 100% compared to previous prices.
The new prices are displayed in the restaurant, however, the flyers still being distributed around town list the old prices, which could mislead customers when ordering.
For our group, the bill came to €170 for 9 burgers and 2 fries, an amount we consider disproportionate to the quality of the food. This establishment is apparently bankrupt, which could explain these exorbitant prices.
This restaurant had been a regular for many years, but given this experience and these pricing policies, I no longer recommend it.

27/01/2026: Shameful! We made a reservation at 9:00 AM for 2:00 PM for eight people at this restaurant! We arrived around 1:15 PM for a drink on the terrace. At 1:45 PM, we went to ask if our table was ready, and the owner clearly told us to get lost, saying, "2:00 PM is 2:00 PM!" We returned 15 minutes later, and the table wasn't ready! We waited 40 minutes standing up until a table became available. The waitress repeatedly told me that she was taking payment for a table and that as soon as the other customers left, she would set the table for us. The other customers left, and it should have been our turn, but the owner decided otherwise and sent in a so-called "Eric" whom he must have known! Unacceptable! So we left because we hate being treated like fools! I do not recommend this place! The staff is appalling and dishonest! We wasted an hour and a half of our time instead of skiing, with an already quite expensive lift pass!
First time I've ever left a negative review, but it's well deserved!
27/01/2026: Superb restaurant, quiet, clean, beautiful view. The food is fresh and delicious. Pleasant and fast service! In fact, we've been going here exclusively for years!
But that was before. We came this week (January 2026) and were very disappointed! I'm taking away two stars! First of all, it was very cold in the restaurant; we ate in our down jackets. The fish and chips tasted processed, the filet mignon with mustard sauce had tough meat, and the pizza was okay. Fortunately, the service is still friendly.
