No false note, the tone is set from the reception thanks to Edwige, Laurent works in the kitchen with a masterful hand and the whole team agrees on the same tempo!
Well done to all of you, a pleasure these 3 evenings!
The racket raclette and prime rib are a must try.
Beautiful season and maybe see you very soon!
15/12/2024: We had a great time at La Crémaillère in Alpe d'Huez. The dishes were delicious: the tender and tasty chicken and chorizo skewer, the perfectly cooked duck breast, and what can we say about the enormous floating island, a real treat to end the meal!
A big thank you to the entire La Crémaillère team for their responsiveness and impeccable follow-up during our reservation. The welcome was warm and the staff very friendly and professional. An address not to be missed for an exceptional culinary experience in a warm setting in Alpe d'Huez!"

Lors de notre commande, la personne au téléphone comprenait rien. La qualité de la nourriture était très médiocre. Les plats frits n'étaient vraiment pas bons. J'ai eu l'impression de mettre fait avoir les prix afficher sur internet ne sont pas à jour…

25/08/2024: The place is great, however the cuisine has become Americanized and leaves something to be desired: burger (presumably frozen fries), meat, meat, meat, and more meat.
The so-called vegetarian salad was very good (although low in protein and carbohydrate intake), but only one dish on the menu without meat is average in 2024 (historically it was omelette, Saint-Félicien in the oven, pot au feu , andouillette gratin, etc.).
22/08/2024: Perfect for a ski lunch break or a drink at the end of the day! The magnificent view, the service and the quality products! A must in the Alps! And long live the génep! 🤪

29/08/2024: A treat! We ate 2 evenings in this restaurant, the typical meals (Saint-Marcellin, diots crozets, ravioles, tartiflette, faitsselle, crème brûlée with gènepi) are a real delight.
We had two wonderful evenings!

18/08/2024: I totally recommend this establishment. Every year we go to Alpe d’Huez and we never miss an opportunity to go to the Eight Bar. The atmosphere is great, the staff are really great (especially Jade!) and the place is more than friendly! We will come back without hesitation. 14/04/2024: Factory restaurant for foreign tourists, industrial cuisine at high prices. Flavorless tartiflette that bathes in water. The terrace is nice, go there to have a drink but not to eat, the best options on the estate
