23/01/2025: Friends, carriers of celiac disease, you can go there with your eyes closed, indicating “gluten-free and lactose-free”. The chef will adapt the menu and you can eat almost like the others. He removes the sauces in which the spices or ingredients may contain traces of gluten, he toasts the bread separately to avoid cross-contamination in the toaster, there is always GF bread, he composes a delicious specific dessert, his sorbets are made house and therefore do not contain traces.
In short, he understood everything and deserves to be referenced in gluten-free applications.
A big thank you to him for saving us from violent painful crises.
If only all chefs could understand the problem 🙏

30/11/2025: Excellent restaurant with a very pleasant, beautiful, and peaceful setting. The cuisine is quite refined and delicious. There was no wait to be served, and the welcome was truly warm.

The vaulted ceiling is very pleasant! No feeling of dampness or cold, quite the opposite!
The meals are very good!
Perhaps a minor point: the poultry was a little dry despite the sauce, but nothing serious!
A small restaurant that I highly recommend 😉

28/10/2025: I didn't try the restaurant, but it seems to have a good reputation. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and well-heated, but strangely, not even a bar of soap, nothing! They're really penny-pinching. Breakfast is fine for those who appreciate the purely French trio of bread, butter, and jam. No pastries (just a slice of brioche), no cheese or cold cuts; perhaps out of season you get the bare minimum, but for €14, still... here too, the impression is that breakfast also seems to be on the cheap. A shame, because the welcome was good, the location was good, the parking was good, and the room was nice.
25/10/2025: I hadn't been back to this gourmet restaurant since chef Joël Césari's retirement. After a very charming welcome, we all chose the three-course menu at my table. The taste surprises are there and the presentation of the dishes is very careful. The menu changes with the seasons. Yesterday, I really enjoyed the appetizers as well as the poultry dish. The meal ended in style with two desserts, including a very surprising and succulent gentian dessert. The new chef, Laurent Barberot, has succeeded in raising the bar even higher!

06/12/2025: I came for my son's funeral, and the Hôtel de la Cloche recommended the restaurant. It was very pleasant, with excellent food and service. It reminded me of when I was the manager of Chalet Mont Roland. Thank you.

27/10/2024: No order taken randomly, last come first served! Friendly as a prison door! Prices have increased on top of that. In short, no more!!! The completely lost manager moves forward with orders, asking whose order it is. Stirring wind!

20/08/2024: Very unpleasant experience from start to finish…….
Reservation taken by a man (the cook) for the terrace only to be firmly pushed to enter by a blonde lady with short hair (the boss?)
We still managed to eat on the terrace, but she was very insistent on ordering dessert at the same time as the main course, claiming that it was all made to order (minute dessert??)
We refused, then finally we had a gourmet tea (only because the dishes were very small) which as luck would have it was ready in 5 minutes!!!!!
In short, very little choice, very poorly received and poor value for money cuisine, personally I would never set foot in this restaurant again even if I were invited and I bitterly regret having invited my partner there, moreover we We were the last to leave, we weren't even asked if everything went well!! What a shame!!!
Fortunately, I treated my customers with more respect when I was their meat supplier about ten years ago.
