01/06/2026: What a beautiful setting! What a warm and friendly welcome! They were very accommodating, even going so far as to prepare a last-minute replacement dish. The cuisine was lovely: fresh, seasonal, and light, not to mention the interesting and refined wine list.
In short, a truly wonderful experience.
26/05/2026: Chef Moutarlier and his wife offered us enticing menus that delighted all our guests, from the youngest to the oldest!
Our wedding anniversary was a success: we enjoyed a semi-private space in a magnificent setting. An excellent place to recommend!

08/05/2026: I don't usually leave reviews... But when something's good, you have to say so! 👍 We were passing through Dole and discovered the restaurant Au Bouchon le Grevy for lunch. The sweetbreads were delicious and full of flavor 👍 as was the halibut on a bed of asparagus, and to finish, the dessert 🍰 👍
Well done! 😀 Absolutely perfect.

10/03/2026: Restaurant La Romanée offers simple yet refined cuisine in the old town of Dole. You can see and taste the freshness of the ingredients.
We loved the food, the service, and the decor. Don't hesitate to ask for advice or questions. Absolutely no complaints; the owners are lovely, don't change a thing.
I highly recommend it for families, friends, or even on your own. Above all, remember to make a reservation; it's a restaurant.

We visit Dole from time to time, a town we adore.
We went to the Circus and Brass Band Festival. I stopped by a little before dinner to make a reservation, and the staff very kindly found us a table on the terrace.
This restaurant is a wonderful find: we ate very well, everything was beautifully cooked, the Gascony wine was excellent, and the value for money was very good. Moreover, despite the restaurant being busy and crowded, the staff were very pleasant and handled everything perfectly.
For those who complain, it's because they don't know the restaurant business; I suggest they try working in it someday—they're looking for staff everywhere!
A big thank you to the staff, and we'll be back very soon! 🙂
17/05/2026: A restaurant brimming with medieval charm, serving delicious and generous portions. We ordered the "gargantuan" salads, and they made a great meal! The service was excellent.

From the first contact until check-out, every member of the team was kind, attentive, and very friendly.
The service was highly professional, and the rooms were very comfortable.
We only booked with breakfast included and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially because the products were local and of excellent quality. We congratulate the owner and the entire team on this gem in the Jura region.

28/03/2026: By chance, and I don't regret it at all. The staff were welcoming and charming, and I came as a family. I highly recommend it! Excellent value for money and quantity.
16/03/2026: I'm the (young apprentice) and I wanted to say that it's a good restaurant. There's always a server nearby if needed, the dishes are well presented, and I highly recommend it. The meals are very generous, there's always a good atmosphere, and we always have good contact with the customers. We're human beings first and foremost, as Daft Punk so aptly put it. The menu isn't that expensive, except for a few burgers, but otherwise, it's not that pricey, in my opinion. There's room for everyone; we have the dining room, the terrace, and if needed, the upstairs. We can accommodate a large group, and it doesn't bother us at all. I highly recommend it! 🥇

There are other bars in Dole.
Beer selection isn't great.
21/04/2026: Second visit and definitely the last.
Over 20 minutes wait for two simple drinks (a draft beer and a lemonade) and one waffle.
The waffle arrived in a reasonable time, but the wait for the drinks was over 25 minutes (my friend had to go get them herself at the bar).
The same thing happened at another table of two; the Perriers were served ages after the snacks were brought.
The bartender was alone, certainly doing his best, but there were two waitresses, not at all overwhelmed, who were doing the bare minimum (wouldn't helping the bartender with the simple drinks, if all the customers were seated, improve the service time?).
However, if you're friends with the owner or the waitresses, like the two young women who must work at the restaurant upstairs, you're served in under two minutes—I timed it—as soon as you arrived (well after us). (A Granini fruit juice and a can of iced tea, no longer to make than our drinks.) Nice attitude. (That's sarcasm, in case you missed it.)
