07/09/2024: I had lunch in this restaurant with friends and I really liked the setting and the cuisine. The only negative remark: some guests had chosen fish as a starter and meat as a main course and the cutlery was not changed. I pointed this out on the way out and it was explained to me that it was the restaurant's policy...but that they changed the cutlery on the gourmet menu... Really a shame for a restaurant of this level.

17/08/2024: Fine dining in a lovely restaurant just outside Dole. Delicious food, very good service, nice restaurant, large parking lot. Ideal place for an upscale stopover on a trip to Burgundy.

16/09/2024: Charming environment and magnificent terrace. Friendly and smiling welcome. A young and dynamic team. Very well stocked plates and the menu at €33 is very good. I recommend 😊 note reservations only via their site and mandatory.

13/08/2024: We enjoyed brunch on the terrace this afternoon. Colorful and tasty dishes with fresh produce. The brunch formula is perfect for gourmets! Delighted to enjoy a brunch worthy of the name on Dole. Friendly and smiling staff.

30/08/2024: The bistronomic menu is clearly a dream, the dishes are varied with strong aromatic markers like the grillette that I found in one of my dishes. The setting is relaxing and calm, on the terrace on the banks of the Doubs, perfect. The service is efficient and pleasant despite one of the waitresses who doesn't ask if it went well (it must have been the boss I think). The starter: Truffled Buffalo Bruschetta, Gravlax Salmon, Pesto Rosso and Tomato-Arugula Mix. The pesto rosso was missing from the plate which was a shame. This starter was good but sorely lacked seasoning, especially salt! it was bland bland bland. The starter was also lukewarm. Overall it was limited. The dish: Rosé Duck Breast Skewer, Vitelotte Potato Mousseline, Pan-Fried Foie Gras Escalope, Liquorous Fougerolle Griottines Sauce. The presentation of this dish was amazing in a good way. It was not a potato mousseline but a sort of mille-feuille which was, once again, not seasoned... the pan-fried foie gras was not abundant on the plate but just right, the sweet reduction had great aromatic power, very good. On the other hand, the duck was a thousand miles from being pink, it was much overcooked sole! this is INASIMISSIBLE for a plate at 27€! Mastery of cooking meat is at CAP level. Dessert: Profiteroles. The vanilla ice cream was of very good quality, the choux pastry was not cooked enough because there was soft white dough, a sign of a lack of cooking inside the choux. Summary of this meal, a starter served lukewarm, the cooking of the duck failed, both were not seasoned. I suggest you improve this because given the price of your card it is unacceptable

29/08/2024: Superb restaurant, congratulations to the chef, and the very kind staff. Only downside, breakfast, no one to receive us. I am from the profession, I have also worked in a three star hotel.

12/09/2024: Restaurant agréable. J'ai aimé le coq au vin jaune sauce morilles. Dommage c'était beaucoup trop salé ! Le nougat glacé au coulis de framboises délicieux

11/09/2024: Si il y a une table dans le Jura où il faut manger c’est la table de Joël Cesari, La Chaumière. En semaine une table bistronomique et le week end un étoilé Michelin. Tout est dit, on mange délicieusement la semaine et divinement le week end, une cuisine subtile et raffinée qui mélange les influences du monde et le Jura. Le nec plus ultra : la carte des vins, elle vous donnera une idée de ce vignoble qui a acquis ses lettres de noblesse et peut aujourd’hui rivaliser avec sa voisine bourguignonne. Bref, je n’en dis pas plus, la cuisine est faite pour être partagée, celle de Joël Cesari fait partie de ces maisons dont on se souvient en se disant j’y reviendrai.

10/09/2024: A great hotel, perfect for spending the night after an excellent gastronomic meal. The swimming pool is large and very nice.

16/08/2024: The best part of cooking, the meat. The quality is there (duck, beef). The staff on arrival were very accommodating but the heat and humidity levels which exceeded the norm, too bad, and when we were asked if we would like a dessert, my husband feeling unwell because of the climate, made us a polite remark to the waitress, "thank you very much but it's too hot" who received it coldly (my husband is a building engineer, several customers are ventilating, including the waitress..) we are answered with little tact and bad faith that it is "normal" since it is a resraurant. When paying with a direct debit card, it struggles to go through, same reaction with little compassion and lack of professionalism from the same person. Our card goes to the store across the street... Again, I have a lot of kindness in this message. I wouldn't have even rated this restaurant if we hadn't had that bad end of meal experience.

20/08/2024: Very unpleasant experience from start to finish……. Reservation taken by a man (the cook) for the terrace only to be firmly pushed to enter by a blonde lady with short hair (the boss?) We still managed to eat on the terrace, but she was very insistent on ordering dessert at the same time as the main course, claiming that it was all made to order (minute dessert??) We refused, then finally we had a gourmet tea (only because the dishes were very small) which as luck would have it was ready in 5 minutes!!!!! In short, very little choice, very poorly received and poor value for money cuisine, personally I would never set foot in this restaurant again even if I were invited and I bitterly regret having invited my partner there, moreover we We were the last to leave, we weren't even asked if everything went well!! What a shame!!! Fortunately, I treated my customers with more respect when I was their meat supplier about ten years ago.
