28/12/2025: A warm welcome, a very good meat dish (venison shank), but a bit pricey for the overall meal. A little more dressing on the gizzard salad would have been welcome. The frozen bread reheated in the oven turned out hard, even though the bakery was still open and just a stone's throw away. What a shame! And hearing the microwave beep... Thank you for the welcome! 18/12/2025: I went there on a Tuesday at 5 pm for tea after a long drive, and I was told they didn't serve that. So, a word to the wise for tea lovers. I was directed to a betting shop (but at least they served tea).

23/08/2026: A beautiful, bright, 19th-century style cottage with a lovely and accommodating manager. Very clean rooms and a very generous breakfast. I highly recommend it.

30/07/2026: We had a wonderful stay at La Sauldraie in early July while our daughter was competing in the French National Equestrian Championships in Lamotte-Beuvron. Everything was perfect. We received a very warm welcome in this beautiful manor house with its large garden. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. And all this for a very reasonable price. Thank you, Julie, for your hospitality and helpfulness. We were delighted with our stay. Note: Parking is available within the grounds. If you are participating in equestrian competitions in Lamotte-Beuvron, La Sauldraie is ideally located. It's about a 15-minute drive, a straight shot along the main road.

24/04/2026: We spent two nights as a family at La Lionnière bed and breakfast, visiting the Château de Chenonceau and the Beauval Zoo. We highly recommend this peaceful place to those who love tranquility, nature, and animals. The owners gave us a very warm and kind welcome. They introduced us to their animals, who roam freely. We were particularly charmed by Totof, a young castrated goat who loves being brushed, much to the delight of both children and adults. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. We also enjoyed our hostess's delicious homemade crepes and jams. A big thank you!

29/11/2025: The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. The inn is peaceful and the bedding very comfortable: I had two excellent nights' sleep with my children. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking a beautiful garden: ideal for starting the day in complete serenity. I'll definitely keep this address in mind for next time.

29/08/2026: We used their services for our father's funeral: four small trays of canapés, all for €600 without any receipt or invoice. We were very disappointed with the service, which left us with a bad taste of being ripped off. Thank you, Mr. Renaudin. At the beginning of your career, it may have been easy to make money honorably in Belgium, but time has shown that you have forgotten this way of working.

We are always very warmly welcomed, a big thank you to the Chef, we thoroughly enjoy the food 🤗 everything is perfect from the very generous breakfast to the dinner and the peace and cleanliness of the rooms. 22/06/2024: Accueil timide mais convivial. Le restaurant propose une ardoise rn plus de la carte mais le dimanche soir, toutes les propositions ne sont plus disponibles, dommage ! Bonne cuisine pour un tarif plus que correct.

26/08/2024: Scandaleux ! Le restaurant était privatisé pour 6 personnes ce lundi 26 août donc ce restaurant gastro ne reçoit personne d'autre et le personnel (peu sympa) nous a répondu que nous avions qu'à privatiser pour avoir le droit de manger... C'était idem pour les jours suivants... Alors il faut annoncer la couleur ,dire que c'est un restaurant privé pour une certaine élite et sans faire de pub pour une cuisine d'exception...

13/08/2024: A mi parcours de visite de ce superbe domaine ( château , festival des jardins etc ) une halte gourmande bienvenue pour un plat dessert verre de vin à 32 E ( ex : lotte délicieuse , légume et sauce savoureuse , en dessert thé gourmand plus vernies divers propositions à base de chocolats excellents, le tout accompagné d’un bon vin bio régional ) nous avons trouvé certaines critiques excessives alors que l’accueil et le service sont de qualité. Le seul bémol du jour est dû au fait que nous y étions un jour de très forte chaleur ( canicule ) et sous la verrière..
