01/08/2024: Small restaurant with average cuisine. The dish of the day, Basquaise chicken, lacks peppers, tomatoes, onions and flavor. The waitress serves you and prepares the plates without washing hands between two, from the trash directly to the salad, more than limit.

24/06/2024: We are seasoned Relais & Chateaux travellers and have come to expect a high standard of both accomodation and service. This place falls very far short of that. We were ignored on arrival and had to look for staff at every point during our stay. The decor was old, tired and poor. The room facilities were sparse and there was an atmosphere throughout of costcutting. The wifi was appalling and, therefore, useless. To add insult to injury, on checkout we discovered that the hotel tariff for our suite was actually €80 per night less that we were being charged! The only saving grace was that the dinner in the restaurant was quite good albeit the cheese course was chosen for you, which is unusual in France. Another example of the owners trying to save money? Wouldn’t stay here again and could not recommend.

28/05/2024: Toujours bien reçus et servis, malgré notre retard et l'affluence. La nature du lieu principal ne doit pas vous effrayer ni vous freiner. Très sympa et cool, vaut la peine d'y passer quand on est dans le coin.

25/07/2024: EXTRAORDINARY. My husband and I used the service of Julien and Sandrine for our wedding. There were 230 of us at the cocktail party and 170 at the dinner. Everything was excellent, both the cocktail and the dinner. Taking care of the guests and the bride and groom, a family box for you. During 1 year of preparation, Sandrine was able to listen to me, advise me and adapt to our requests. It was truly a pleasure to work with the team of 3 merchants. 06/05/2024: We called on Sandrine and her team for our wedding cocktail dinner (75 people) and we were delighted with their performance! Our guests also loved the multitude of appetizers and workshops offered (cutting ham, pan-fried scallops, etc.). The quality of the products and service was noticed by our guests. Everything was perfect, Sandrine and her team were very caring, warm and available to respond to all our requests. I recommend with my eyes closed! Once again, a thousand thanks to them!

19/06/2025: I do not recommend the relay point, the manager lost my package, not very organized... she naturally told me that she must have given it to someone else, also questioned my word by attesting that my partner had come to pick it up the day before while he was traveling.

24/05/2025: Speaking very rudely to customers allows for inappropriate comments. For a boss, it's not very professional. Run away, it confirms my desire to never return! When you run a bar with a lot of traffic, you have to be friendly, otherwise you'll have to work in a factory if you can't stand the customers!

21/01/2024: At the time, this bakery was the best in Montoire, and offered good quality baguettes and rolls, made from quality flour (Viron flour mill in Chartres), and we had 4 baguettes for the price of 3. None of that today, even at 1.2€ the tradition: compact and pasty white crumb, with a few holes in the center as cells, no more sharp crusts at the ends, but a right-angled cut. In short, there must have been a change of ownership, and as often for the worse.
