It's getting old and a bit shabby, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the breakfast was sufficient.
For €84 including breakfast for 2 people we got what we were looking for.
And I didn't see any spiders.

18/08/2024: We were very disappointed, this hotel has one star too many! Some people talk about the small fridge in the room, we didn't find it... Bathroom not great, old-fashioned and no cups. Very noisy hallway all night. Beware of the photos on the site, they are obsolete!
18/08/2024: Difficult to find (a good GPS is necessary). The staff is alone to manage the restaurant, the bar and the reception. Otherwise, despite the wait, the welcome is friendly.

14/08/2024: Avoid!!!, dishes not very clean, very long waiting time to be served, pizzas not great, the ingredients are not homemade, poorly cooked. No rocket contrary to what is indicated on the map. We are still waiting for the carafe of water, the same for the pilipili and some sanitation sachets on the table are expired, the so-called Chinon wine is picrate. Too bad the place is nice...

01/08/2024: Small restaurant with average cuisine. The dish of the day, Basquaise chicken, lacks peppers, tomatoes, onions and flavor.
The waitress serves you and prepares the plates without washing hands between two, from the trash directly to the salad, more than limit.

02/10/2024: ci siamo andati a pranzo per una tappa veloce e abbiamo mangiato una insaltona. Era buonissima, abbondante e con ingredienti non banali. Buonissimo anche il pane servito.

22/08/2024: Very poor stay, unsuitable for disabled people, noisy room facing the busy street. Poor breakfast with very little choice, forced to have breakfast opposite Patapain. Very poor value for money. HS air conditioning, I do not recommend this establishment. No elevator.

Decent buffet breakfast and the staff are pleasant and helpful.
To recover the handy card system room.
Regarding the lack of air conditioning, we were warned the day before by message and reminder upon arrival.
No bad surprises.😊

Certainly the setting of the castle remains pleasant but the room unfortunately has no charm...
The waiters are not organized, our little one had time to eat her child's meal even though we had not yet had our drinks...
The menus remain much too expensive, including the one for children at €20 for a steak and fries (non-home fries)
The cheese plate at €8 is disconcerting like the rest…
Addition for 4 people €160…

26/09/2024: Deplorable welcome, entry at 13€ (it's not worth it), when we decide to leave after entry, we are told that it is strange behavior, and we are lectured like children.
I don't recommend at all
22/08/2024: A good hotel, very clean, very comfortable bed, a good welcome and a very nice breakfast. The hotel has a very well-appointed lounge area for a small dinner on site. I recommend.
